1. wrong section, should post this to Q&A section. I think moderator can move this post to the correct section.
2. don't be lazy, read forum rules, "search", search another post in this General Section and you will find your answer, hear one of them http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50507753.

U have 4 GB device, Use ROMs for 4GB (internal storage + built-IN storage = your all storage of phone)
It will not show up exactly 4gb hope my maths is good add phone storage and internal storage together it will equal something like 3.76 gb that is 4gb phone you have easiest way to tell 4gb is black and 8gb is white in colour

It's not the rel_path, at all. Either look at F22's kernel discussion thread - there's a fix in the first post. Or, my personal preference - just update to a newer kernel.. AFAIK 1258+ this bug has been squashed (clocks issue).

Try formatting your SD card with HP Tool

You don't need this if you're on a newer kernel!!!!
Just update your kernel folks, no need for this in the startup!

Which ROM you have installed in Winmo does not matter.
Kernels are stored in the root of your SD card - zImage and the modules-blahblahblah.tar.gz files - I suggest reading the multiple sticky threads in this forum, there is information about kernel updates.
Also, if an updated kernel does not fix your problem, then most likely your SD card is wonky, try another one.
Hello guys
Does anyone know why the sandisk 64GB micro-sd (class10) cant read Hebrew and Arabic files when he concted to our S3 ?
and if you think he read... just push re-bot and trust me : he wont
(pls do not advise me to format the card and such, Im "advanced user" in Android and of course I did these "solution")
The micro-sd 64GB reads those excellent from card reader, but when you placed in the device (especially after the restart...) the files appear "gray", meaning not accessible.
I corresponded with SANDISK on that matter, and they said it's a problem with the device or the device's software.
Im sorry 2 say that i think they're right (because the files are indeed accessible on card reader).
I realy think thats a big problem !
Is this the right forum to resolve the problem?
If not ... Where should I look for a solution to the problem?
tnx

Rules state Q&A for questions .
Or General
Suggest if you got no answer to this same question posted before then their may be no answer or you need a more specific forum that deals with Hebrew /Arabic .

For someone advising others to 'read' your post (properly) you have some nerve.. you posted a question in a development thread. Which part of the Q&A forum do you and others like you not understand??
Sometimes I am amazed at the general lack of reading and research skills; this isn't a bloody aptitude test!!
Thread moved, Questions go in the Q/A section, and if you are an "advanced" user.. you should know this.
Edit: also your issue is likely connected to a lack of UFT-8 support in the kernel, POLITELY ask (Not demand) that the dev of the kernel you use include support for it, maybe linkback to this thread to explain why..
Kernel support? Doesn't the stock kernel supports UFT-8 file paths? I always thought I could mess around with Persian files from my phone

Hello people,
last year i bought a P780, it was a Chinese version .
I flashed and rooted it to a ROW 4.4.2 version, it all worked fine only the storage to my sd-card doesn't work.
There is no possibility to storage foto's or musik on the sd in my device. I have put an other sd-card in it but it doesn't make a difference.
Can anyone help me out please?
Thanks for anyone who answers.

Hi. Did your SD CARD worked with the original ROM?
If it worked that means that is a software problem. If not that means that might be a hardware problem.
This is how i see the problem !
Waiting for reply.

Hello Stympy,
i didn't test the sd-storage when i got it out of the box. The storage didn't failure always, the device creates a space for the picture / music / video but for example when i want to checkout a picture after making one, the device says "no thumbnail" and the screen is black. The same happens with songs i'ld like to hear.
Thank you for replying.

Try this:
1. Backup everything from sd card
2. Insert sd card on the phone and format.
3. After format should work.
