Hey guys i was wondering if you can flash a earlier stock rooted Ruu while on hboot 1.50 with the htc unlock method. If you were to flash one of the stock rooted Ruu, would that downgrade the hboot version to the earlier versions. Or did Htc lock down the hboot 1.50 version from being downgraded. Any advice would be helpful.

If you are s-off, you will not lose s-off. When you flash the new hboot, it will say s-off locked, but s-off > locked, so you will be able to flash whatever you want and go back if needed.
If I were you (what i did myself), is flash freeza's firmware update that doesn't include the 1.58 hboot. The ONLY reason to flash the new hboot is if you plan to flash a Rom with the new kernel. The 1.4 hboot allows you to flash everything, including Roms based on the new Ota.

But RUU'ing will also erase your whole device too, unless that is the intention

Thanks, going to try it soon Can fastboot it while having Stock Recovery? Can you also help me here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52225390
If you say that I should flash the boot you provided then I will do it now. else the virtuous rom boot img. Do let me know what should I try.
if the rom you have on phone is stock 4.3 then the boot.img i provided is from my stock 4.3 rom and will flash via fastboot.
