Hi guys,first I apologize if I have put this in the wrong section but i have a really big problem with mediafire..So i was about to download a rom from xda from my phone not pc and when i opened the link it redirected me to mediafire and there is the problem..When the mediafire page opens with the file to downalod it requests a captcha but it doesnt appear and i've tried different browser,cleaning cache and i dont know what to do anymore 'cus i cant connect my phone through my usb cable..Please help me and once again sorry for my english and If i putted it in the wrong section.Cheers

Hey,can anyone just help me to understand how i need to install new software in my hd2? I just buy it,it has some problems with sms and so on,so my friend told me to put in new rom.If it's not a problem,i would be very grateful for all info about doing it,do i need any special programs or snth to do that.

I was reading all the forum,and it's only written like to download the rom and vuolia,but what after? Do i need to put the file to sd card or do it in a different way?Do i need to install special program to open files .nbh? Simply my phone isnt working normally,i cant send messages or read it,if i put sd card inside,after few hours phone starts to lag. If there is anyone,who has time to explain how to make it work good,you are god

Without know exactly what HD2 you have (european or American), if it's network locked, secondhand and so on, I have know idea why you can't send SMS messages. I recommend reading up on how to flash ROMs via the link above and taking the appropiate action based upon your situation.... We all started this way, honest ; )

Hi... i bought Dell venue last week.. i activated 3g connection on my phone but i cannot access any site from my browser.... anroid market and other apps which uses internet are working fine.. i downloaded UC Browser and Dolphin HD browser but both failed to open any pages...
pleaseeeee sort me out any solution for me....

there is no reason for that restart ur phone and wipe data and cache and check it again if it works!

Try any custom rom available here by following proper steps may be in custom rom it works fine

yes it will but any time u can revert back to stock rom.

Shakes_aqua put the following lines in your build.prop file and see if that helps.
net.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.dns2=8.8.4.4
Reboot after adding these.

I've had a similar issue, and in my case this resolved it...through some googling i found out that the browsers are automatically being proxied to an unknown host and that caused this problem..What you could do is Install this App...APL DEMO from Google Play..
Run the App..Enter a URL like : "google" please put it in a URL format
You would see an option "Test : Get URL" choose that
you would see that some traffic is generated and you will be able to send a request to google.
After you do that..choose the Edit option
and leave the Host name blank
and also the Port blank and Save the settings.
After this is done Choose the option Test : Open URL in new window
Try putting in a URL and now your Browsers should work just fine.

NEWBE here... and I can't seem to have success downloading the image file for Recovery of ANY LINK.
it's weird it takes me to a page where it's a big encryption page. This happens even on the clockworkmod.com site under rom manager, at&t htc one link
And I don't think it's my computer cause it's been like this on two different comps.
Is clockworkmod server down? files don't exist anymore?
researched this, and no one else seems to have had the same problem..

Pls. Help needed immediately. I m in the middle of swapping the device using few video tutorial in which I tried to swap the phone storage(not internal) with a 32 GB SD card. In details I use root explorer & go through : system>etc>vold.fstab & made some changes which only alter my internal & external SD card storage(which I not wanted). So going through another tutorial I have replaced the vold.fstb file with the one I already downloaded from the web but unfortunately the file totally different & as a result my internal as well as external SD card are gone from my storage section. So device not detecting any of them. And result is no more camera , gallery or music. So pls. Help me immediately to solve this issue.

Pls.help its sounds weird but I have no access to internal & external SD card due replacement wrong vold.fstab file in place of original one. Now I'm unable to change the vold.fstab file to normal. Also no access to camera,music,gallery etc.

Firstly download the lastest version ie version 5 of the stock rom from http://www.moulnisky.com..

link not workin & more stuff needed
In your first link I go through & downloaded.the v5 custom ROM(is sth left for downloading from there). At last in the second xda link there is not a link working therein & i dont have drivers,flash tools,mobistel cyanas & .maui meta... So pls. Provide link to download & remaining.

for flashing a new firmwire i need three things i. e. 1...v5 rom 2...S9201 file 3..mobistyle drivers but in moulnisky website everything are of 1kb file size & nothing is there. also in the past when i gone through flashing the S9201 file is of 362MB{for your information}. so pls. sir reply & provide valid link from where i can get all three things.

flash tool is not detecting my device

After that when i connect my device it is not detected(tried many a times for long time interval).3...is rooting a problem as i am rooted if not should i "on" the usb debugging mode. Pls reply immediately.

Yes mobistel cynus drivers nees to installed s that ur device will get detected..
rooting won't affect anything...u can still upgrade the firmware..
and no need to turn on the usb debugging...

u dont have to place the mobistel drivers in ur phone memory...u just have to install them on ur computer...and u may also want to do through this tutorial.

hello sir, i have installed the drivers on my pc then go through sp flash tools ...... firmware upgrade but still now my device is not being detected so where is the problem pls. clarify it. also i m have attached 2 screenshots for reference. pls. check them accordingly & suggest me sth. a simple process now became tedious,time taking & irritating. pls.reply.........
install vcom drivers and your phone will get detected

Actually the same happened to me while flashing...so I googled "all MTK drivers" and installed them...the phone then got detected..

I hope that iam posting in the right place ...
I have serious problems running reicast on my HTC m8 , it keeps asking me to place bios.bin and flash.bin in /data subfolder, I place them there, and then it asks me to place them in /data/data , I do it again it says bios not found and it becomes /data/data/data !!!
I need some help please, because the few times it got convinced that the bios was there in the folder, it just exits the software not starting neither the rom nor the bios even !!!
any help ?
