Delta downloads whole zip
and when build 3 is aviable it downloads only the changes
so you have to keep the whole zip file

Just as CM11 recovery does not have acess from volume rocker...set it up in advanced power menu to access it from rom
Then U tell me for others...and please; provide logcat if any
* By flashing this, you automatically void your warranty!

Its a great rom, and battery life, to me is good as stock one. Battery lasts all day on normal use which is for me: music, data (h+) some videos, facebook...
With launcher3 I couldn't access to the settings so I install Trebuchet which is in system/priv-app in CM11 zip
And I needed kernel from FXP 303 to install the rom because we can't go to the recovery with FXP313 kernel.

Perfect is a myth, so as per my usage,.. No bugs to report, battery life is on par and it has most features you would expect.. I've tried the previous versions in the past and ran into bugs like rotation not working but they've fixed them and added speed.. It is very fast and smooth..

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask, is that you have patience, search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Everything in this build should be working OK:
WiFi
Camera
Video/audio playback
GPS
Bluetooth/A2DP
I'm not sure about the Nfc, I expect your feedback on that one.
However, don't expect miracles; the device is somewhat slow because its HW is a bit outdated.
It is 6.0.x, though.
I need this one, too.
flashed it and saw you really took a 3.4 kernel for this. cool.
Thanks for this! Everything looks good. NFC is fine although, and I'm not sure if this usually applies, the first picture I tried to transfer wouldn't as it said the file was too large. Used a smaller one and it worked fine. It's quite zippy with the minimal number of apps I've installed.
I was hoping we would at least get credits for our 3.4 kernel and device trees though not to mention that I stated that I'd rather not see our not yet stable, wip and dev only 3.4 kernel included in ROMs yet, but I'm not even trying anymore... it's not my problem if someone can't charge their device anymore or has to disconnect and reconnect the battery to give life to it again.
I'm unable to apply a theme. FC's each time.
Your history is preserved to the letter in the kernel and device tree, so everybody can see and appreciate the work you've done. Does GPL licence require anything else?

no. but respect does. this answer is a pure smack in the face to someone who took months of work mainly alone to get 3.4 working for this device and this really deserves more!
Certainly appreciate the build but just to let you know, there is no sound at all. Also, with the 3.4 kernel, there is no power to USB OTG and my tab would not charge as @Ziyan stated. I've already tried Ziyan's MM rom with 3.4 and knew I would have to disconnect/reconnect the battery to get charging back.
I failed to read your entire OP and didn't know you were using 3.4 kernel, so that's on me. Regarding the sound, @srisurya95 compiled some early MM builds and they also had no sound.
Hopefully, you'll be able to fix this issue.
Thanks,
Mike T

Yeah, as always when installing a new rom. I just tested the sound in settings for media etc. and there was no sound. I didn't bother to test any further due to the issues I had with the 3.4 kernel.
Btw, just for the record I used the Banks Dynamic gapps linked in the OP.

Anybody with a rudimentary knowledge of Github can see what's been done by who just by looking at the commits, so stating "great thanks to whoever" is surpluss to requirements.
All one needs to do is preserve the commit history and everything is visible and all the credits are given.

Thank you for your replies but at this time it's a moot point. With the charging and USB OTG issues relative to 3.4 kernel, I won't use a rom with 3.4 until @Ziyan and team say it's ready for prime time.
As an aside, let it be known I do appreciate the work by the OP and the DU team. They make an excellent rom.

No sound is the reason why I haven't released my build
Sound on mine is just fine...
I think that the main problem that this 3.4 issue happened is because the kernel was 'released' a month ago in an unstable form. I think that if something was released, it should be fixed to a usable state ASAP since errors like this are bound to happen. Other developers didn't get their name stamped everywhere because they ported a kernel either so I don't get why this should be an issue... (I don't mean to disrespect Ziyan as I really respect him and his work. I'm just not very happy with the unfinished 3.4 kernel that is out to the public and currently not being actively worked on. Porting a kernel on your own is a great feat that we must all respect but that doesn't earn you the right to have your name everywhere I think.)

How often do you intend to update this particular ROM? I'm currently on official cm 14.1, but miss some features of DU.

Thread cleaned.
Asking in rom threads about battery life is pointless. Battery life is 99% about your usage style, setup and signal strength on data, (wakelocks too) nothing to do with the roms. And some will always get twice the battery life as others, who play games or whatever, that's how it goes. It makes no sense to compare to each other. I've been doing this a very long time and I can get the same battery life on any rom, with any device I've owned, ever. (there's always exceptions, but usually it's just a bug, it gets squashed, and all is well again.)
So please, don't clog development threads with battery life questions. Also, no need to go on for 12 posts about someone asking either.
Let's keep things civil folks!
Cheers,
Darth

You need to flash SuperSU or magisk. The ROM isn't rooted by itself
