Hello,
this is my first thread on XDA Developers forum so I'm sorry if I'm doing something wrong. I wanted to know if there is a way to install the walkman engine on my Xperia U. I'm running the CyanogenMod 11.0 Build 13 and i want to use the walkman engine because the sound quality with DSP Manager and Apollo is not so good....

I've tried it but after flashing following the steps i can't find Walkman in my app lists. If i install walkman through an apk i have got problems with the equalizer which doesn't work.

1.Xperia S Music Player + Sound Enhancements + Clear Bass
2.Xperia S Music Widgets + Timescape
3.Conversation.apk

Use "Cyanogen Timescape ROM" it has all ur required apps except conversation for that ROM base is kamarush's "MiniCMSandwich" itself...

I used that rom a before but that rom is buggy and lags for me,even games were not working on my device.
This minicm sandwich is best.
I know there is a way for this as cyanogen timescape has all this ports

MiniCMSandwich is based on AOSP and doesn't have anything from Xperia S.
You need to find the Xperia S apps in proper resolution from another ROM and then try adding in that ROM, that is the only possibility.
But Cyanogen Timescapd has a. xperia s music player & all then it should work in sandwich also!!
Will you Help me find mod for this?
I have xperia s home.apk installed but the xperia widget are still not working.

Yes you can install the ported one by Rizal Lovins. Search on android apps section. But fb stuff n sound enhancement didn't work. Using DSP instead.

Thank you. I found this but It doesnt works. It just force closes. I wiped cache and dalvik-cache, but It still doesn't work.

If you want cm7.2 on your LwW. Navigate to get.cm and find 'coconut' and find cm7.2 on the list, should be the bottom one. And for the kernel search on the threads. It lists all roms, kernels and firmwares there

2. for GB u will not get LATEST wlakman. its simply not ported & GB is outdated
3. i dont thinkknow there will be NO just a install-apk. probably u have search a flashable zip (walkman for GB thread) & try around until it works to ur wishes.
