INSTRUCTIONS:
Note: Place the rom file in extsdcard.
1. Hold Volume Up+Power+Home to boot into your custom recovery.(CWM/PHILZ/TWRP)
2. Wipe Data
3. Wipe Cache
4. Choose Install Zip
5. Choose from extsdcard
6. Choose Rom file
5. Once its complete, Reboot your device.

Hi, I tried to install but did not work. After calculating the md5sum installation starts and only shows "Installation aborted" without any other error or message ...

try put your zip file in external_sdcard/ not in any folder
Ok, I'll try ... Inside the "Beta UbiRom V1.zip" have the folder named "Keshav's ROM" I think maybe that accent there may be causing the error, will they?

Been flashing roms everyday since ive been rooted.
Finally found one i want to stay on.
Koud AOSP 4.
This rom is does not have root.
Tried rooting it the way i rooted in the first place with odin
Flashing cf root kernel.
The kernel on this rom is LP6.
So i flashed cf root lp6 with odin.
When it booted up after i got the galaxy s2 startup screen with yellow triangle as normal then the boot animation is supposed to come up.
Well it didnt it just switches back off. So i went into recovery and restored my nandroid backup.
I know how to install the rom i just wanna know how to root this rom as my usual odin method didnt work.

you can use dsixda kitchen to add root, but its seems too much work for just root.
as im sure your not familiar to kitchen.

its been a while so i dont know if that kitchen supports ICS, let me check. will take some time got to install linux now lol.

Why do you stick to a ROM which is designed for NOT rooting, and insist to get rooted...get into the ROM developer's thread and ask please....

Good problem solved......
I finally managed to root JB. It is a hassle free process. No kernel changing required.
It doesn't increase the binary counter.
Download here : Root
How to :
1. Download the zip and place it in the root of your sd card.
PS : SD Card is a must.
2. Reboot to the stock recovery.
3. Select install update from external storage.
4. Select the root.zip file.
5. Viola
Enjoy your rooted JB.
Note : This method has been derived from a method to root SGS2. Thanks to Phil3759 and his thread.

it seems to me PA will kick you off your download after a few second downloading. Leave it be. Its not ready.
Ya I've successfully downloaded the file three times but every time the md5 isn't matching up. So getting the update binary error the others reported.
Very thankful for the work the pa team is already putting into this, you guys are awesome.

Are the official tag, binaries, manifest etc out yet? I saw aaron's flo build was using 4.3 stuff in it. Cheers

Everything except the 4.4 binaries is out. Only N5 4.4 binaries exist right now.

Rotation broken. Fixed with ultimate rotation control app side loaded . titanium works so I'm restoring and testing apps as I go. So far seems pretty snappy!

after unsuccessful flashes, i updated my TWRP and it flashed fine
I've been running CM11 for a while now, but today I came to update my phone to the latest nightly build. When the download is about to finish, I stumble on "md5 verification failed". I also tried to backup my ROM but it failed because of that issue. Can someone please tell me how to fix this before I do something stupid?
PS: I did Google this issue but couldn't find a solution.

Might not have enough free space, so when the zip downloads or the backup is made and they can't be completed; the md5 hash (which is a string of letters and numbers based on the unique data of the file) won't match the md5 string provided to make sure the file isn't corrupted.

Make sure that you are using last CWM update... I advise you that use [CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch insist of CWM...
