FYI: S-OFF on CID T-MOB101 still not working - AT&T HTC One (M8)

Hi!
This is only a "for your intererst" post. I tried the newest Firewater S-OFF (8.0.6.26) on my HTC M8 with CID "T-MOB101" (Germany) and it's still not working.
All I get is this:
Code:
preparing, one moment
The first bottle is open
chugging..........
********** whelp, this sucks, firewater can not work on your device **********
Compared with an older version I have made some progress. The old version of Firewaters' S-OFF stopped right after the "YES"

Looks like you'll need Sunshine S-OFF instead...

Thanks! 25$ are a lot of money but I like to support developers.
It worked for me and now I can use my phone as I wanted to from the beginning.
I am S-OFF, updated my firmware and now... we'll see

Your hboot will be downgraded to hboot 1.49.0007 and then you need to use revolutionary as usual
Ok, that I know, but I was thinking that this new tool (this thread) was a clean method to do that but with no need to downgrade

to get S-OFF
Any news for gsm version?
Here we go guys, after spending some time testing with the dev on IRC, here's the first Aussie Evo 3D to be S-OFF'd.
Don't go begging for this as there was a couple of issues we experienced during testing and these need to be looked at before the solution is made public, but it works.
Initially:
Vodafone AU Branded Evo 3D
HBOOT: 1.49.0013
CID: VODAP021
MID: PG8631000
Now:

Big thanks to the guys who came up with this method!

Edit: I'd recommend having your original GB RUU, Your desired recovery Image and su downloaded ready to go for when this is ready.
Nice to see progress being made.
Well done guys, nice to see an alternative to revolutionary's method.

I cant unlock the bootloader through htcdev

Hi, I can not at any price, unlock your bootloader ...
You worded this kinda weird..
But you can certainly send me your phone along with some money and I'll send it back unlocked.
You said any price right?

Or at least S-OFF anyway.
Some users aren't able to use the htcdev unlock that have had the mainboard in their phones replaced, but now that unknownforce has his universal recovery tool (URT) available for both the CDMA and GSM models of the Evo 3D he can go straight to S-OFF without needing to unlock. And there is a zip file available that will unlock the bootloader once S-OFF, but there is really no need to do that, unless someone is paying you $2K to do it.

I've used this guide quite a few times when I've wrecked my phone, it's pretty straight forward. Just remember to flash the 1.15 hboot before trying to run the RUU or it won't work.

How will these methods work with monarubo s-off? My DNA is a dev phone like the op has. If this method would work I would use one of those methods. But I don't see my soft method. I used those on my other DNA, just wanted to make sure one of those methods would work without borking my phone.

Monarudo is just the device code name
You'd be ok following the face palm method for s-on I'd imagine

OK. Thank you guys. I will give it a go.

1.26.502.15 OTA confirm it breaks exploits for revone and moonshine for s-off?

I just wanted to confirm that I am not doing something wrong. Just got the phone a week ago and while waiting to see what the Moto X looked like (just to confirm I wanted to keep the One) got the OTA update. I have read a bunch of threads that say you can still S-OFF with hboot 1.44, but that is still the hboot on my one. I just wanted to confirm that even with the hboot the same, the update also eliminated the chance to S-OFF with revone and moonshine. I know they will be working on obtaining S-OFF, but I don't want to waste my time trying anymore. Thanks for your help.
Been known for a few days now.

Same version number, different date. My launch 1.44 HBOOT is dated in March.
Just time until they figure a new exploit then? Thanks for getting back to me quickly.
Check my downgrade post in the general section. I want to see if it works for other people.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Use this thread to help you downgrade..

You can try rumrunner S-OFF or Sunshine S-OFF. Rumrunner is free and Sunshine cost $25. Firewater has been discontinued.

Sunshine works best on stock or near stock roms. If you can not go back to stock or find a stock reset for your phone, then try ARHD 8X or MaximusHD.
