Im dealing with this error "unkown error -24" after trying to install SoundHound ∞ from playstore. I had it installed before and trying to install back and cant get around to do it.
There's many threads on this saying I should delete files from previous installation, I already tried deleting data/data but I cant find com.android.soundhound or anything. A search for "soundhound" on my whole SDCard comes out empty.
Where does soundhound saves its files?

Oh yea I forget they have no external capabilities. Then I'm not sure how to help you here. Other than if I download the app myself but I'm on a Samsung phone I'm kinda at a loss on where to direct you from here

Use the Site search and you'll find dozens of threads on it, and search for App called Directory Bind because that's what you need if your phone's Rooted.
U have already posted this there

Thanks foe your reply I am not rooted just got this phone today. And I am sorry about double posting

If you're not rooted then you're out of luck.
Well... I would not call it out of luck because technically the Move-to-SD option is no longer necessary since the apps are already stored on the internal storage and no longer in their own small /data partition.

A mysterious file is always generated on my SD card no matter how many times I format it or delete the file. The file has an extension of "MOLOGIQ" and is usually named ".06ba141d-a652-464b-b7c2-0932d1a1402b.mologiq". I have a fear that it is a spyware application that's hidden in my phone. I really can't seem to get rid of it. Any help understanding this or getting rid of it is much appreciated. My phone is rooted, S-OFF, 4EXT. This occurs on any ROM/kernel and even with full wipes and formatting I can't seem to get rid of it.
Just from googleing it comes up as stealth mode start up advertising, which sounds like a load of crap, don't know how or where you got it but it don't sound good
thisis50.com if its hot its here
If a full wipe doesn't fix it, all I could suggest is formatting SD again, through your PC, then run the ruu

I'm a flashaholic if that's how you spell it. v.v
It shows up on any ROM I use. Even on the ROMs that have full wipe aroma, I've even used ROMCleaner, and all the wipes in 4EXT, including SD. Thanks for the suggestion guys. If anyone else has anymore I can try, you're more than welcome.
Can I use a logcat to detect this app? Maybe format or delete the file and turn on the logcat and then wait until a it returns and find the item in the log?

I go back to factory every once in awhile for a total clean... It's always gone after awhile for that... I'm pretty sure it's an app, rom, or kernel, just not sure which one...

Do you use SuperSU or "Silent Time"?
I'm sure it's not a kernel or a ROM. :/
On my phone it's 1Weather, whenever I go to its settings.
I use supersu, but that has never been a problem... I used titanium and froze friendcaster and it has never come back... I'm 99% sure it's that app for me.

Ah, thank you. I'll try that. Ever since I installed CM 10.1 it hasn't come back. I'm starting to also blame Adaway.
I had the same file on my vibrant and sgs2 i was able to remove mine by using my pc windows 7 and doing a format using fat32. worked on both phones and none came back my guess it was a downloaded app
It was reddit news that cause it for me.

Does anyone know how to make this work on safestrap? Folder mount reads o mb for all of my apps and if I try to connect the folders from internal to my ext, my games always try to download the data as if there isn't any there. I'm stumped

I got a woody when I read your thread title. :cyclops:
Anyhoo, I posted this exact problem in here some weeks ago and so far no solution. The DIR structure for the source is completely wack I think to allow FolderMount to work out of Rom Slots with Safestraps. Nobody has had any answers to it.

I changed the title to a question. Lol my bad. I would love to figure this out. I made the source folder ss/emulated/0/Android/obb/com.... and got it to pin on folder mount, but the game still doesn't pick it up. :banghead:

Seems like it won't work. So a better question is... Is there an alternative to folder mount that we can use to store our game files on our external sd that will work with safestrap???

Whenever I go to the storage option in settings, it shows that my downloads take up 2 gigs of space. but when I look at my downloads folder in root explorer, I don't have 2 gigabytes worth of files. Can someone tell me what's happening and help me fix it?

I'd maybe try clearing your cache in whatever recovery you have even if it's stock if you truly can't track that down and see if it helps or grab Disk Usage app from play store and see if maybe it's hiding somewhere you haven't thought to look

I agree with Mistertac, you will need to clean your dalvik cache and any other cache that you might possibly have. If you are not rooted, then I would recommend to use the app called Clean Master, which can help with you clearing up your downloads folder, boosting ram, and getting rid of unwanted applications. You can find the Clean Master application here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cleanmaster.mguard
Another app to try is SD Maid
