[Q] My Tablet Screen Is Blank. - Huawei MediaPad, T-Mobile SpringBoard

Suddenly my tab is not responding , I tried to press ON/OFF button but the screen does not respond. The screen is blank and nothing comes out. I tried to plug the charger and no respond. I never or change anything since I brought the tab. I tried to google also but I cant find the solution. Is there any solution? My tab cannot turn on and the screen is blank and nothing to appear. It's like my tablet running out the battery but I plug the charger still no respond..

Can you try holding Power button for a about 10 seconds or more, release it and try turning it on again normally?

Screen Issue?

Hello,
I'm posting this for a friend, because his phone is "dead" and he is unable to post himself.
Earlier this year he brought a Galaxy SII from a second-hand phone shop, and it's worked fine up until now. He updated the ROM to the official 4.1.2 and since then it's had issues connecting to his home WiFi (unrelated, but it lead me to suspect the ROM) but it connects everywhere else. Then yesterday his phone just went blank and turned on again - the boot sound played at the touch buttons lit up for a moment and then faded as with a normal boot. But the screen was blank apart from several white spots, and a load of coloured pixels. I saw it myself today, and the colour of the pixels is random, although usually red or green, and the phone gets incredibly hot about a minute after turning on.
Is this a ROM fault, or could there be something more serious to it?
Just a shot in the dark, as I've never owned a Samsung, but could it be the "sudden death" bug that they allegedly have?
Thanks
Does it go to recovery? Factory reset. If not does it go to download mode?

I'm not sure - I think I managed to get it into the bootloader, but there's no way to tell because there is nothing on the screen but the white dots and random pixels. All I did notice was that when I removed the battery and turned it on again even more pixels appeared. We only went by the sound and touch lights, so it appeared to boot, but we don't even know if it switched straight off again

you are not sure ? did you try to go into recovery or download mode ? shutdown the phone first
Recovery = Volume up button + Home button + Power button
Download mode = Volume down button + Home button + Power button
Press vol+and home button and power button till it boots to recovery. Keep them all pressed down till it boots. If not try vol- home and power till it boots to download mode. Has he dropped it?

We tried that, and the touch lights came on but with no boot sound. The screen didn't change, just white dots and pixels, but it was working fine the day before.

Tried both, the screen just did the same thing and the phone got very hot very fast, and he said he hasn't dropped it at all, but that someone in his family may have, he's not totally sure because nobody admitted to using his phone.
Screen is prob broken. Pixels on it..not good. No recovery or download mode..really bad. For it too get really hot really fast may be a mb problem. Send it to service centre

Okay, thank you! He tried calling them and getting a quote, but the guy on the other end didn't seem to know what to do, and the man who owned the shop he brought it from offered to repair it, but for almost double what it cost him to buy the phone.
Thank you!
No problem mate. Get a second hand one. Prob be cheaper to do that now the s4 is out. Mb cost alot.

please remove the battery for like 10 minutes, wait a little bit, then try to go into recovery or download mode,
if that doesn't work, try this:
1.Press the key combination for recovery
2.Samsung logo appears - hold the buttons pressed.
3.Prompt disappears shortly - you still hold the buttons.
4.Samsung logo appears again - hold the buttons still pressed.
5.Count to 3 & let go, dont press the buttons anymore.
After 1 - 2 sec farther the Samsung logo disappears and the recovery starts maybe, i did that on my old i9100

Thank you, but that hasn't had any effect. Still a blank screen with white dots and thousands of coloured pixels. Thank you for all of your help though!

[Q] S3 keeps restart itself

i got s3, suddenly it started to reboot itself all the time, what i see is only the samsung logo and then black, and samsung again.
the funny thing is that when i put the battery in, it automaticly start with this loop.
during the loop, when i press home+volume up, i can see the cwm screen for two seconds, and then it reboot again.
if i press home+voulume down, i see the warning in the stock recovery, but when i press volume up, nothing changed, and eventually after two seconds it reboots again.
i tried to connect it to my pc, but it dosen't show it in device manager, and have no indication that i connected it.
also, when i connect it the charger, i see circle, and then a battery for a brief second, and then the circle again.
is it simple hardware problem (stuck power button? even though it seem okay, but it may explain the automatic turn on), or half SDS?
anyway, are there any recommondations? i have'nt flashed it recently or anything like it.

if i try to get to download mode (home and volume down) i see the warning, but either i press volume up or down, it reset itself.

the regular, about flashing custom roms, if i want to continue press volume up, restart, volume down.
either way, it restarts.
any way it is the power button stuck in 1 mode?
If phone starts on battery insertion, before you push the button then yes, power button is shorted out.

Try leaving the battery out overnight/long time, it helped when I got my phone stuck in a bootloop. But that was due to oc/uv...did you try something risky, causing it to bootloop?
no, it was in regular use, nothing risky.
yesterday i dissassembled it and checked with multimeter, it seem that the power button shorting the circuit, so i ordered a new one, going to be a surgical operation...

Screen blinking when powering the screen

My Tab S7 plus is behaving strangely in last few days. When my battery is over I think 25-30%, or when the tablet is connected to a charger, and when I press the power button (or double tap to wake) the screen blinks for a millisecond, it is also happening when you restart or power on the device, the screen blinks twice before the Samsung splash screen appears. But the strange thing is that it does not happen when the battery is below 25-30%, neither when powering or restarting the device or waking the device.
Is anyone else facing the similar problem? I tried to format the data, but the issue is still there. Thnx
Mine does that too, but I was only able to use for about an hour so ,I haven't had time to figure it out yet
