Seems that since updating to KitKat, I can no longer play video sound (MX Player and Youtube) through my car (2013 Outback) bluetooth connection. Function worked with previous (stock, rooted) version.
Audio player works. Calls work. MX player and Youtube no worky.
Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

I got a 16GB WIFI Tab today, but I can't load Zinio on it.
Android Market says the app is not compatible with the Tab, the build-in Market says the app can not be downloaded, and I've installed the apk file but it don't show up on the Tab.
My Tab is UK model, and its rooted with Task650's KME V5 ROM. The app worked on my old Xoom and is installed on my Sensation.
Thanks for the help guys
P.S. Does anyone know if there is a music app which allows me to stream music from iTunes on my computer?
Have you tried installing it from the web version of the Android Market? I haven't actually installed it Zinio, but the market tells me that it is compatible and it is ready to install it.

Edit: Re the music app, this might do the trick. http://is.gd/VLmgG1
Thanks the the reply. I've tried to install the app from Android Market on the web, but it tells me the "item is not compatible with your device". Which is strange since I can install in on the Xoom that have the same hardware. I wounder if the TouchWiz is the problem.
Thanks for the music suggestion. But I'd like something that can stream music from my home PC to Android devices on the same WIFI network. I've PLEX, but its not playing music in my iTunes for some reason.

That's probably the problem because it installs fine on my stock 10.1 w/TW
Thanks, I'm currently downloading stock firmware from Samsung, will report back once its flashed.
Update: I've re-flashed Task650's KME V5 ROM and now able to download the Zinio app, not sure what happened the 1st time.
Thanks for all the helpful suggestions guys.
I received a gmail with a .mov attachment. Is there is any way to play it on my completely stock note2? I did some searching and MX Player was suggested. I downloaded it, but still get the same message when I click on the attachment stating that I don't have an app to open .mov.
Thanks.
MX player should play it. I've had issues in the past with mx where it wouldn't play something after an update. An uninstall and reinstall did the trick. Of that doesn't work, search xda for vlc media player. I used that on my evo 3d. Not sure if there's a version that works on the note 2 but it's worth a try.

I think I just figured out the problem. Before, I had download mx player, but had not opened it up, assuming that android would find the app. This time, I first opened mx, and then touched the attachment and it worked fine.
Thank you for the response.

When recording video, I get that audio cutoff bug after 1-2 mins. Also had it with 4.22 camera, with cm10.1.

Hello Everyone,
I am getting an odd issue with the Netflix App running in either CM 12 or 13 (Various ROMs CM/Temasek/CynoPop/MoKee etc). The app would run as normal and even start the video, but then after a few minutes the video gets scrambled. The picture would go from good to scramble on and off. I've also tried older versions of Netflix App resulting with the same issue.
This only seems to happen in the S3, as my Samsung Mega 6.3 (CM 13) runs smoothly and my other Samsung A7 (Stock) does too. Other videos run without any issues (Youtube/MX Player Pro).
The issue resembles a PAL/NTSC clash you would normally have with VHS back in the day.
Any ideas? Should I go back to Stock? I love the google experience and I want the S3 to be used with my future Chrome-cast 2 so I can have the experience complete.
Thanks in advance.

Dude, do you even read the list of problems in CM13 thread? Any CM13-based ROM always has this problem because there is a problem with h/w decoding (I think).
u should've read the all cm13 thread it's a known prob....

As I mentioned, the problem also happens in CM12.
Any solutions?
What? I don't see any problem with any DRM'd content (i.e Netflix) in android 5.1? Try switching to ArchiDroid, it may be EOL already but it is still a golden gem. Very stable too of course
The solution is to change the Playback settings to Medium through the website.
EDIT: I found that an early September 2017 release of the YouTube app is one of the oldest that's still supported, most likely because it's the first version of the app that includes the newer YouTube logo. So problem solved. App version is Youtube 12.37.54 and it works flawlessly with no problems.
Hey, so I have a Nexus 7 2012 tablet (yeah i know old as heck but it's still a good tablet for most things) and I decided to uninstall my updated versions of Chrome and YouTube to their stock 4.4.4 versions as their newer versions are noticeably slow on an older tablet like this. (if you're asking why I'm using 4.4.4, I used to have Lollipop on my tablet, but downgraded it back to Kitkat intentionally as it just made the tablet too slow to operate.) Chrome works without a hitch when downgraded to version 32. However, YouTube is saying that I need a newer version, no matter what, and I can't figure a way to get around this. I didn't want to use the newest version of the YouTube app as playback very noticeably stutters even with a strong internet connection. I also didn't want to use Chrome as the YouTube app is just more optimized overall and you can set the video quality and more functions.
I'd really appreciate if someone can help me around here, whether it's a way to get it working with the app, or if you know the oldest version of the YouTube app that still works today so that I can download an APK for it and see if it holds up.
