What really gets me is sprint won't match Verizon's promo! Called 3 different reps and all shot me down. They would rather me walk away and leave them. Hoping best buy gets some in tomorrow, to use my $50 gift card

I never noticed that the power button has the power symbol on it. I like it. The picture also shows how big the buttons are - they shouldn't be too hard to get used to.

Not that it hurts to try, but I'm surprised you were expecting them to price match another carrier's device. At least they're not doing what they did with Note 3 pricing.

I didn't do it personally, another family member made the call, I believe it was just one of the sales reps. Tell them you've got a friend that got the $100 deal for a two year contract, and that you are a long time customer yada yada.

Yes. an AT&T Store.
Just pulled them out of the box. One type of case came with it too, the anymode flip case that REPLACES the back cover.
Just so you know, it actually has the NFC INSIDE the anymode case. There are 2 contacts for it. I'll post a pic when I can.

Nope. I showed it to a customer but that was about it. There's been a lot of buzz with this device. Tons of people coming in asking about it. The boxes aren't sealed so I just showed off the size.

We have not. I'll be the first to know too. I pre-ordered my phone to my own store.
No others have showed up. Just these 5 blue ones and some cases. Some more might come in tomorrow. I'll provide a count to see if we get an equal amount of white ones.
I should've just waited until Friday to "preorder" and taken one from stock . . .lol

As an employee of the US Postal Service I receive 25% off AT&T services and 50% off accessories plus specials on phones sometimes. As do many corporations in the US.
I'm just not sure if I always receive the 50% off accessories or just in conjunction with a phone upgrade????

I think you should ask. On my ATT account page it says premiere member on it. And whenever I upgrade a phone it offers me the 50% off option for access.
I would like to get an S -Pen kit for half price if possible.
Frys now has the Note for $199 for new and upgrade customers. I just got mine yesterday. I called Best Buy and told them and they said just to go in and show them the ad with the price and they'll price match it. So for those that have waited, I think now is a good time to buy.

Thanks for the tip. I'm currently on the phone with them getting my account credited $100. At first, they suggested that I return the phone and then go get it at Frys, but after I asked to speak to a supervisor and I pointed out how ridiculous it was that they wanted to lose the total sale of the phone instead of just crediting me $100, they went ahead and credited the difference.
Don't be mean, but don't give in. Niceness goes a long way with CSRs. They have to deal with such typically crappy crap all day, every day.
I just came back from Best Buy. Got $100 back on the card I used. Was in and out in 10 minutes. No problems at all. Pretty stoked that I got the Note for $200.
I justed called AT&T and they said they couldn't match fry's price for note and new line. No luck with best buy either because they say store has to be in a 20 mile radius. So for now I'm still note less!

Yeah. No problem . The $149.99 would have been awesome but I tried 3 different Best Buys and no luck. $199 is still a pretty darn good price for a phone that started at $300 a month or so ago.
Lovin' the Note so far...Barely got it yesterday. I came from owning a Dell Streak for over a year now and my goodness this phone just blows the Streak away. I don't think I'm going back to owning a "regular" sized phone any time soon.

You should try calling again. AT&T will do it. If the first person says they can't, ask to talk to their supervisor.
The Frys ad is for upgrades, too.

That's exactly what happened to me. I price matched last weeks ad that ended yesterday which was $230 and went back today to price match it again. And I just got the phone yesterday.
I just did the $239.00 price match at BB yesterday due to the Fry's ad. Now heading back to BB with the new Fry's ad to get price match to $199.00. I originally bought the Note from BB and had signed up for the BB offer a while back to get $50.00 credit if I bought a new phone from them. Now, my note only cost me $149.00. Not bad.

Just select the device you want from https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/devices/cellphones.html you can select to either create a new line, add a line or upgrade(they all work). Change it to "month to month" and go through the check out and select whatever plan you want and when you get to the final page of checkout you will see the 50% off promotion take 50% off! After you receive your phone you can decide if you want to cancel the plan or keep it

Of course its the same thing just keep the 2 year price before checking out. You must do an upgrade or add a line.

It's a promotion. The glitch is that it's only supposed to be for upgrades and new activations. I just paid $300 for an off contract S4 Active
I wonder if I called them I'd be able to swing an upgrade a month early.

Last time I talked to them online they quoted me that they could be pushed into upgrade up to 3 months ahead of the upgrade day. Just quote me "My friend said that when he called the lady told him that you can upgrade up to three months... are you saying that he is a better customer than me"
That should do the trick, then get them to price match the promotion and dont forget about waiving the activation (it's a part of the promotion)

Love it so far. They classify it as an accessory so many FAN discounts give you 30% off accessories. Walked in the store and it rang up at $160. Walked out with it in 5 minutes. Hope they do the same thing for the Moto 360.

There's normally the restocking fee of 10%, however the other day we had one come back and it didn't have a restocking fee.

A "FAN discount" is a corporate discount associated with your place of employment (in my case).
I went into AT&T store near my work just now and they called it a "serialized" item and couldn't do the discount. I also mentioned I wasn't an AT&T customer (I'm on Ting) and they said you have to be a subscriber to even get the PAN discount.
Can anyone confirm any of that? (Or anyone work at AT&T?)

I went into AT&T store near my work just now and they called it a "serialized" item and couldn't do the discount. I also mentioned I wasn't an AT&T customer (I'm on Ting) and they said you have to be a subscriber to even get the PAN discount.
Can anyone confirm any of that? (Or anyone work at AT&T?)

To get a FAN discount you must be an AT&T subscriber. For any of these discounts it's probably best to just order online as store associates tend to think it's some sort of error. I'm sure AT&T would have closed these loopholes because it's been around since the Gear watches. I just order the G watch with two clearance accessories and I got 25% off my order.

It's dependent on the FAN. Each agreement is different. Some offer equipment discount or accessory discounts, some dont. I would suggest buying the watch and two $5 clearance accessories. Get it all for about $190 out the door.

I upgraded from my G2 to the G3 and traded in the G2. They upped the trade in value since I was using the money toward an accessory. So between that, my FAN discount and the 50% off from getting the G3 I walked out the door with a G Watch for $9.13. No complaints there.
I bought mine on eBay. Got it for 165 with free shipping, used a week. Not a bad deal. Still had the protective stickers.

If it helps it already went thru the "pending" stage and money is back on my card but the order already says "confirmed" can i still cancel? Thanks in advance..hopefully it isnt too late...

you have to call Samsung, I called them earlier today to do the same thing, mine was confirmed and decided want to see the Lg V30 and the Iphone 8 to offer, CS person tried to do it on the website herself, and no luck so she did it on her system she said, but my order still shows confirmed not cancelled, but she gave me the cancellation id # and ticket # for cancelling my order.

Thanks, funny thing is that its a prepaid card but it says the money is back on the account even tho it isnt canceled..i want to cancel, or use the money to pay a bill to force cancel... But its saying there is no funds when i process it on the cable bill, i even tried topay my tmobile bill and it says declined... But when i go to the mastercard it says there is money on the account its weird....smh... Im so upset i feel like I'm going to lose the money $539. Since its a giftcard how will they return the money since this card isnt reloadable?

Just called and confirm with them you want to cancel. If the item does ship just make sure you do not accept but denied the item and you will be good. The carrier will note that you denied shipment. It's important for you to denied it because if you accept it Samsung might charge you a restocking fee due to the fact that they believe you might open the package.

These pics are before and after and im trying to use the money and i cant even tho its on my prepaid card...they cant charge me restock fee if its prepaid..where will the get the rest of the money from? I wanna cancel reguardless before it ships..but my fear is that i cancel and i STILL wont be able to use my prepaid debit card even tho it STATES that the money is there...smh..[emoji20]

You would have to keep the line active long enough to get the gift card (at least 8 weeks).

yeah unfortunately they didn't get the order cancelled soon enough, so I received 2 emails for my note 8 and the 360 camera on Sunday morning the 3rd and the final credit card amount posted to my card, but after finding out the V30 has no notification led, I`m glad I still have the Note 8 coming hopefully it will be here tomorrow:good:
