Vibration notifications are muted.
I still haven't tested but with the wear app it also has an option to mute the watch and phone or just the watch. I'm not sure how well that does muting both.

It's more like a "Do Not Disturb" mode.
No vibration and no screen popups anymore when receiving a card. The cards are still on the watch, but you only see your clock and have to wake up the watch to see them.

I want silence mode - call alert silenced but when earphones connected the alert may not be heared so its still silence mode ...
I normally set date/time reminder on my Desire X.
When it appears I can see it vissually on the screen but there is no sound alert with it.
I tried everything but no success.
If I go to Calendar/Menu/Settings there is option to change alert sounds but anything I choose there s still no alert sound when it appears.

Yes I checked it. All other alarms are ok with sound

I have 3 sound modes: sound, vibration and silent. If I choose vibration then I go to volume settings and ringtone melody and notifications volume are zero. Then if I set the volume of melody and notifications up, sound mode changes to "sound" and vibration turns off... So I can't find the way to set ringtone and notifications sound and vibration on at the same time.
Can you help me to do this step by step?

Yes, you are right. It is not a general setup but an app by app setup.
Ex : I use "alarm pro" and for each alarm we can choose type of vibration AND melody for sound. Other app. For notification there are app with more setup than general Gear S sound.

Thank you again but I don't understand... How and where exactly can I setup app by app to put sound and vibration at Gear S? Example: incoming calls, whatsapp notifications, clash of clans notifications... There is not problem for me to do app by app, but I can't find the way to do this...

Each app can have it own setup. "Alarm pro" has setupefor sound and vibe" "GetUp Alarm" has another kind of setup......

But I'm not talking about Gear alarms. I want to use sound and vibration at incoming calls and notifications of my paired phone like whatsapp, SMS, and so on... Is there anyway to configure this? There is no way to set sound and vibration at the same time,it is it? How would you use sound and vibration of incoming calls or whatsapp notifications? Thanks again.

My songs or videos tend to go on "mute" mode when a notification goes off. I don't want my song to be muted and then play skipping the lyrics while the phone vibrates for imcoming notification.
Is there any way to solve this issue?
yeah u are right while incoming notification blocks the music sound and the music doesn't pause instead plays on and lyrics skip.
Even i am trying to figure out if there is any settings to change it

Hold the app from which notification comes and tap app info. Go to manage notification turn off allow notification.

Hello as far I think this is not a software issue, I read about something like this much earlier once. Actually most budget phones come without a dedicated sound chip for music and share the one inside the processor for both media and sound notifications. As a result when a notification comes in the current media u r watching gets muted. You can prevent this from happening to some extent by putting the device on silent and turning vibration off while watching or listening to content.
Even in silent mode, media is getting muted while we receive notification on realme 3 pro.

Actually the notification mute mode (can be enabled by tapping the icon below volume changer panel, dont know the real name of it) is helpful in your situation. Media is not paused or muted in this mode.
Is it possible that call notification works without "call via watch" function enabled? If I turn this function off, I have no ringing notification at all. All other notifications works well. That's annoying.

I cant even activate that function.. Last version IOS + IphoneXS
