[Q] Get back to stock, update and root again - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

Dear XDA forum members,
Can someone help me with getting my phone back to stock (t-mobile) and update it to the newest version of android?
I tried the most things but now it's back to a different stock then my t-mobile version.
I hope someone can help/do this with me? Maybe with a chat on skype or something?
When it's done and working i will give you like $5 or $10!
Best regards,
Pascal
**UPDATE** Now it's only rebooting and trying to get in recovery but fails everytime..
**UPDATE** i can get it into bootloader but he keeps saying RELOCKED

[Q] X10a Boot loop problem

First off please let me state that I am aware that I am not any sort of expert when it comes to this sort of stuff. I might use incorrect terms and say things in a way that displays my ignorance to these extremely technical topics. I am have some good common sense and problem solving skills though so if someone were to offer me some help I can probably 'figure it out' by thinking critically.
I have a X10A with AT&T and was too impatient to wait for SE to come out with the 2.1 update here. When the Nordic update came out I was one of the people that rooted and de-branded my phone so that I could get 2.1 on it. Everything went fine and nothing else seems to be wrong with the phone except the boot loop problem. I can not seem to find a definitive answer as to how to fix this on any forums or anywhere else on the internet. I updated it with SEUS and it did not fix the problem.
Since having done this I have read that all the user data must be wiped before rooting/upgrading otherwise one can get stuck in this boot loop (http://www.xda-developers.com/androi...or-xperia-x10/). I don't know if that is what happened to me or not???? Any help someone could offer would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
So you flashed to nordic when it came out but you just now get a boot loop?
Not sure what happened but I'd say try flashing it. Since you are in a boot loop & can't power on & turn it off to get into flash mode, try THIS
I suggest 2.1.A.0.435 X10a 2.1 Global Generic, there's a nice guide HERE on how to install & optimize it. From there you can install a custom rom if you want or just wait for the 2.3 update from SE or see what our devs come up with in the meantime...
At&t will never give us an update... one of my many complaints with them... I am dropping home & cell services ASAP...
Yes I flashed to Nordic when it came out. I have been in a boot loop ever since. I am just now posting this because I have not had time to deal with it. I had insurance on the phone and just got another one instead of fixing it. I will try your suggestion and let you know how it works out. Thanks for the help!

Do you flashed the correct baseband to your ROM?
Maybe you have to install correct baseband with flashtool.
Read this tutorial about bb.

Noob problem after root

Hi guys
Sorry but i am a noob to all this so have proberly stupid questions.
After flashing to a customer rom i went back to a stock t-mobile rom. Problem i now face is when i try to download apps from other companies that are not on the app store eg mfortune they are unable to detect the type of phone i am using so i get "sorry we do not currently support your device" despite being able to do so before rooting and flashing. Is there a way i can change this with the release of skyGo on android this month i want to be able to download it. As it will be only on the galaxy s2 and HTC phones for some time i dont really want to wait.
Any help please???
Did you do a full whipe? Adding some details like model number, the rom you flashed and the one you came from may get you some more useful results.
As for the skyGo app, it won't take more than a day for it to pop up as an APK somewhere on the net.
Hello
Thanks for the reply i am currently in work so i cant look at my phone but will update on which firmware and kernal version i am running
I did however follow this guide to root reviews.cnet.co.uk/mobile-phones/how-to-root-your-samsung-galaxy-s2-50004972/[/url]
Not sure if that helps i did not however use the guide to flash the secure kernal maybe thats where i have gone wrong.
I will update the thread with the info later.
Thanks again

[Q] Samsung galaxy s i500 original rom

Hello,
I was hoping someone could help me.
I am wanting to update my phone because it is still 2.1. The only problem is it's rooted.
I did not root it, but whoever did it completely changed the rom. I talked to the guy at the phone store today and he said the only way I can update it is if I reinstall the original rom. I do not know where to get a good version of the stock rom. So help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

SCH-R760 help

I need help fixing my Alltel Samsung Galaxy S2 SCH-R760. I tried to update it to ICS but I didnt realize that it was a version for US Cellular only. When I tried to go back to Gingerbread all my phone does is go to the boot screen and just stay there. Is there anyway I can get Gingerbread back on my phone and get it working correctly? I don't really want to root my phone if at all possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I don't even know if we support your device in this forum.

verizon note 2 SCH-I605 lost IMEI after 4.3 update with odin

so i have been putting off the 4.3 OTA update thats been blowing up my phone for awhile now.currently renovating our home with two kids in sports and working a ton of overtime.
was running stock 4.1.2 rooted unlocked.started searching forums front to back on how to update to 4.3 without OTA.got that done to find out i had no wifi.found a patch tar file that was suppose to fix the wifi issue then lost service.i have been searching forums for two days straight, reflashing stock images, android toolkits...you name it.i cannot even tell you wich ones i flashed at this point my desktop is covered in files and folders. i cant even think straight..lol.i will continue to figure out what files i flashed in what order to better provide information.
at this current time my phone is running 4.3 stock rooted with wifi but no service.currently do not have a IMEI.i dont care about root or being unlocked i just want my phone service back.had to dig up an old blackberry today to get activated for the time being.im sorry if im not giving enough info.i just want my service back on my phone and willing to do about anything at this point.again sorry if i have not included enough info as i have been starring at my computer screen for way to long.thanks in advance
I have solved this problem for many users....you can try to install stock rom along with pit file via Odin....let me know the outcome.
