I was just wondering to use a circle battery icon(with percentage) instead of the default KitKat one. So, I tried many xposed modules but none of them gave me a quint to work. After searching a bit on the net I got to know that in Android KitKat, the battery icon wont change until and unless we mod the systemui. So I just need a little help here, If someone knows here how to do that or can provide me a link to the thread of the following then please post it below. Your help will be immensely appreciated. Hi to all, i write here because i have a problem with phone apk not related to a specific rom, because i really need a mod to disable (by default) noise reduction in phone apk but i haven't received any help from days. My thread is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1137898
is it possible that modders that can change everything on their custom roms are not able to do this little mod for me? If it's so difficult for them i'd like to see a post with their suggestions or trouble; i tried myself to find where is stored that option but i can't find it (but i'm not a modder) i'm a simply user

I just have to questions that i need help with.
One is removing the status bar/notification bar from the lock screen. Ive been searching for trying to get his done and can't seem to find anything.
Second is the all share apk for the galaxy note. Im running the saurom rom and the app isn't there.
Sorry if i seem like a noobie. Any help is appreciated.
Here is the link for the APK's removed from Saurom, I didn't see it listed, but extract this, see if it's in there, and get it into /system/app.

Hi there, I'm working on blur based ROM for atrix 4G (4.5.2A) and I'm having some troubles...
by parts:
1) settings: It's not showing kernel and baseband info, and I can't, obviously, just include att settings.apk or decompile, recompile, sign and replace files between apps, it just keep throwing FC any time I get into "about phone"
2) 1% battery steps: alredy modded framework-res/res/drawable-hdpi and services.jar, but I'm getting stats_unknown ic on notification bar, so, what shoul I edit (every files that needs to be edited) on framework/services?
3) quickpanel: keep decompiling systemui with dependences, when I finish working I compile, and replace modded files into original systemui, but still not working, notification bar is not showing at all...
So please, anyone, help me solve this... I won't have the device for much longer and I want this ROM to get cooked as soon as possible...

Gather some info about what are mods, how do they work and how to make them work first. Flashing files without a bit of knowledge can be harmful and if done in complete ignorance can brick up your mobile. As for JB notification bar, I don't know any mods for gts6102 jb type notification. I will let you know if I find one. An alternative is to use CM11 rom for gts6102. Search xda for it. However it is unstable and has got bugs. Its definitely not recommended to install an unstable rom for just notifications bar.

I have stock Lollipop Rom, rooted with TWRP installed; I would like to add a few tiles to the very few available at the moment, also if possible reorder them..
I searched and searched, here and on Google, but the only things I found were: old old and useless method for JB, xposed module (cannot install Xposed here, it's an x86_64 CPU) and the Custom Quick Settings app, which doesn't work good for me..
So, I unpacked the framework of the ROM, de-compiled SysteUI.apk but now I'm basically lost because I don't know what to edit to achieve my goal! I can't even understand what to look for: I'm pretty sure my stuff should be in qs* xml and smali files, but it's a mess there
Do you please have any tips for me, any how-to, guide, suggestions, whatever? I take everything!!

thanks but I'm already looking at SystemUI but it's plenty of stuff there and it's difficult to change tiles.. Also the thread you linked is only for Samsung Touchwiz, you can see from the attached screenshot that shows the dialog where to pick which tiles/Quick Settings to include.. There the OP just unlock the limited number, but the rest of the stuff is already there..
