Sounds that there are too many files in your system partition.
Try to delete some "system" apps, which are available (and can be re-installed) from the Market, such as Google Maps, etc..

hello to everyone ı have a question about the memory. When I do it for cmw full wipe, dalvin cache, fix permission the telephone memory is 80 mb but ı cant do it dalvin cache, full wipe and fix permission the memory of my neo is 200mb and for example documents to go not show in a menu and cant use it. And for example facebook and a tapatalk update is invalid. But when a full wipe, dalvin cache and fix permission ı use it and ı can use a program. Is it a normal sutiation ?? do you guess my telephone has got a virus or smthing like that. I confused about two sutiation has got a bigger diffecence a memory area. Thanks for your reply!!!!
i just can't get what problem you are facing. but to inform, android is based on linux and thus it can't get viruses. also its a mobile phone not a tele phone
Download a task manager bro

I agree with "tele phone" part , but trust me it can get virus,
don't you think why there is so many Anti-Virus apps on market?
Anti virus is for users who install any damn thing without even knowing what exactly it is for .... And then they keep complaining....
If you're an experienced user, and are well aware of what you install, you don't need Anti virus ....
Ps : it can be handy to keep an anti virus software while you're new....
It won't be much required once you get into intricacies of android!

[CM10.1] Updating apps from Google Play Store fails with: Insufficient memory

Hello!
I cannot update any installed app from Google Play Store.
After the download has finished, the installation fails with this error:
Insufficient memory available
Checking the memory from settings, I get this overview:
Internal memory
Total 2GB
Available 196MB
Internal memory SD
Total 12GB
Available 8GB
When I start an installation of a new app, there's no error of insufficient memory.
My conclusion is, this cannot be a memory leak.
However, the main question is:
Why are any updates from Google Play Store failing?
THX
-Reflash the rom with a fullwipe..
- or you flash the wrong gapps, search for official gapps
But you should ask this in the right thread like Q&A or in cyanogenmod thread.

next time before you post something use GOOGLE its already solved only search...I think lucky patcher have solution for that
Actually I used Google search for a solution of this issue.
Unfortunately I didn't find one that explains the root cause of the problem and provides the suitable solution for it.
In my opinion it's insufficient to follow the approach of wiping the flash and reinstalling the image + apps.
Nobody can guarantee that this approach would actually resolve the problem and not only heal it for the moment after the reinstallation.
Therefore I would prefer to understand the root cause.
You mentioned that "lucky patcher" has a solution for that... is this solution available in the forum here? Is "lucky patcher" the user name?

1) go to data/app folder and see if u have any .ODEX file pertained to those app/apps which r giving u trouble in update vide store's and delete the same, and then try updating.
2)also u can clear DATA/CACHE of 'playstore' and 'Google service framework' then reboot ur phone and then try.

Alternative 1 is the solution here. It has always been problems with those darn .odex files when it comes to the "insufficient storage" in google play.

There are no *.odex files in /data/app.
The Cache of Google Play Store and Google Service Framework is allocating very little memory (see screenshots attached).

Thanks! Option 2 took care of me.
If there are no *.odex files on the device and the cache is close to empty, what else can cause this error message?

Even if cache is close to empty, still wipe it. Also wipe the data of those apps and then reboot your phone.
I fixed the problem by flashing new image and reinsallation of all app using Titanium Backup tool.
A bit too late, but maybe helpful for someone else. I had this problem in the past, too. It turned out, that the (buggy) kernel filling up the space with logs. After installing a newer rom I never had the problem again..

There' s no need to reflash...
Just empty the logs on your android, it will free up to 300mb aprox. then, problem solved. The logs will be generated again for the things that matter, but i assume you have never emptied your logs.

Well yes, I solved it like that. But then came an update of the rom and the problem was solved forever

I don't think there's just one solution to this. For me, I had to clear out the matching app-lib folders to fix it.

If you want to avail this feature to move apps data to sd card you need to root the phone(Use kingo app for rooting) and install gl2sd app from playstore.
This app will copy the huge data of bigger games and few apps to sd card. That way you will be able to free up lots of space. You can then install many heavy data games on your phone and enjoy.
But yes you have to root the phone first. If you're afraid of warranty, then don't worry you can make the status back to official and get the warranty back. There a tool called triangle away to do that. So, if you want to have this feature then root. Go ahead and try if needed and enjoy. Cheers ! ! !:good:
Let me know if any issues.

Out of Space : Unable to install some apps
Hi everyone!
Pardon me, I'm just new here, I signed up bcoz I'm losing hope now.
I'm having issue installing "some" apps on my phone. (some are installing)
Search and tried TS steps found online to no success.
TS steps done:
Restarted the phone
Clear Cache on the recovery mode
Clear cache on each application through setting>application manager
Clear cache using android assistant
Tried the MMI code *#9900# and deleted dumpstate/logcat
Deleted the "mysterious large file" .thumbdata
Checked and deleted some odex files
Checked and deleted files under android/data
Installed Lucky patcher (no troubleshooting option)
Unable to install logcat
Unable to search appslib or app-lib
Phone information:
Galaxy grand quattro
Not rooted, stock ROM
phone memory : 1.74GB/ 5GB
SD card 1.5GB/ 32GB
Running process (under applct'n manager): 662MB used, 219MB free
RAM status : 568MB/845MB
I can just reset my phone to factory default but that's just avoiding the problem, I would like to resolve the root cause of the problem. (without rooting the phone)
I believe that we can resolved this issue.
Thank you in advance.

First of all make your phone rooted (then only you can delete modify files) use odin to flah CWM recovery and install superSU with CWM, some apk need root access ( like lucky patcher, root explorer) then use root explorer and go to sdcard/andriod /data and delete only the files which are not working and then try to install them it will work.
Here is the link to rooting :
