Why not use Link2SD app? Does just what you need perfectly.
I have heard of this app but it just move the app , not the data (the big file ) , doesnt it ?

No. The pro version of this app (Link2SD plus, $2 in Google Play) also allows you to link (i.e. copy to SD and link from internal memory) the application data as well. Well worth it I think.
No money has to be spent ! I found the ulitmate solution and it is called GL to SD !!!! But it needs ROOT ( For those who are on 4.4 use towelroot ,google it )
This is a great app ( and free ) , i think there is a pro version available , you can move your data ,with simple moves , to you external SD and also if you go to setting and uncheck the unmount when exit , you will be able to play the game wihout having to launch the Gl to Sd app.

i used luckypatcher that have directorybind for obb files.
about towelroot is a wonderful exploit! geohot rules  it work also on older version of android, not only kitkat:good:
Of course ! Ι Just mention it for the one's who didnt have the chance to root their JB stock rom , so towelroot is their only solution !!
I remember GL to SD having stability issues, but didn't try it recently - maybe it got better.
I personally really like Link2SD as it offers a whole solution for moving/linking the application and data by your choice (including "system" apps).
Νο problems with GL to SD but something strange is happening with Towelroot , after every reboot the root access is gone !! 0.O ?
I am still able to root my phone with the same method but why the root access is gone after every reboot ?

now, all my installed apps force close.... what should i do ??? I can't access market to reinstall them, can't syng my gmail.... nothing. Any ideas?
I have the same problem, but with App2SD..
Anyone could helps us?
Thanks..
Have u restarted ur phones?
Better than app2sd? Pros? Cons?
As I see it's way easier to install, comparing to app2sd
In App2SD applications installs to SD AUTOMATICALLY.
How they will install with Link2SD ?
1. To SD card by auto
2. To Phone and than move by self to SD ?
If 2 - then maybe modify code to move apps between /system/app and /data/app ?
If 2, u won't be able to install big apps. that's right?
And this too (big apps in some cases cannot be installed).
So, i 've got another problem, app after launch get force close. I have 2 partitions on my SD, Fat32 and Ext2, any ideas?
Use App2SD.
As for me - Link2SD has 1/2 of good idea - grafical moving applications.
But links - not good.
It may move between card and phone - that will be GREAT 100% of happiness.
i've tried the link2sd (app2sd n dc2sd)n it's works correctly even first boot needs much time depend on the apps...recomendations use highspeed class of sdcard to get good apps process
mine are working flawlessly
Thank's for the developer
thank you for sharing ! Works well, just what I've been looking for.
I've tried it,,
but why do a lot to reduce the internal memory
Works great
new version 1.3.0
thanks for sharing~let me have a look.
I've tried to install app2SD many times, but don't work...
Link2SD seems to be easy and works great! Thanks do the Developer

only the market fix doesn´t work for me
we can´t move the system applications, but if we uninstall the apps that we want to move to sd and install again, there is possible to move them
i try with semchome.apk
Hello
I know this is posted before on xda.
But have no reports of anyone trying it on Dell Venue.
Tired it on my venue last night and it worked.
Helped me move my Large apk game files viz "asphalt 6, modern combat 2, assasins creed etc. " to SD card with ease.
Recovered some phone memory after that.
Actually there is no need for this as we already have 550 MB inbult memory.
But memory hogging apps like whatsapp, some launchers, hancent, etc can be moved.
But once moved, if app supports widget. The widget support will be lost.
You need to move it back to phone memory for it.
heres the link.

Hello I am new is there any chance of brick non rooted mobile by using adb shell commands for move to data or install app to sd card pc
Hey there. I got a Xperia Sola recently and am loving it so far. Getting this has been my switch from IOS to Android and so i'm a little unsure on how to do things, I need a bit of help with something.
Going over to android I was rather excited for some of the larger, more intensive apps that my old iPhone3g couldn't run so I bought myself a nice big 32gb sdcard to put all these apps on. Today I bought NFS Most Wanted, installed the downloader thing from the play store and set it running. When I came back later, I was sad to find that rather than installing to the nice spacious 32gb external card, it had downloaded 2gb of files into the Internal Storage and half filled it. How can I move these files to their intended place on the external card, and how can I make future large downloads go onto the external card as well? The only options I can see in the settings menu are Move to Phone or Move to Internal Storage/SD.
Thanks in advance ^_^
Try these

Thanks, but is there no way to do it without rooting? All of the rooting methods I've been able to find for the Sola (I think the one by Bin4ry is a popular one or something?) use the restore and backup thing and that refuses to work for some reason, just gives me an error message every time I try so I haven't been able to root the phone yet.
Edit I think i've figured rooting out. What does the "set abd in path" thing mean in that first link you gave me?

Try this if you are on ICS
Settings> Apps> Downloaded/ALL > NFS Most Wanted
Tap open it. Scroll down and there would be a button reading move to phone! Click it and see if that works. If It copies the file from internal storage to the phone's user available storage then download any market app like app2sd to further transfer the game files to your ext card.
I don't know whether it'll work or not. Still give it a shot!
Happy to help!
Everything is stored in the internal storage. So I hav only 500mb left. I cant move my apps to SD card. It says "the device does not have a real primary external storage" I have tried apps2sd and rom toolbox. My phone is rooted. Can anyone help me with this?

If you want to avail this feature to move apps data to sd card you need to root the phone(Use kingo app for rooting) and install gl2sd app from playstore.
This app will copy the huge data of bigger games and few apps to sd card. That way you will be able to free up lots of space. You can then install many heavy data games on your phone and enjoy.
But yes you have to root the phone first. If you're afraid of warranty, then don't worry you can make the status back to official and get the warranty back. There a tool called triangle away to do that. So, if you want to have this feature then root. Go ahead and try if needed and enjoy. Cheers ! ! !:good:
Let me know if any issues.

Out of Space : Unable to install some apps
Hi everyone!
Pardon me, I'm just new here, I signed up bcoz I'm losing hope now.
I'm having issue installing "some" apps on my phone. (some are installing)
Search and tried TS steps found online to no success.
TS steps done:
Restarted the phone
Clear Cache on the recovery mode
Clear cache on each application through setting>application manager
Clear cache using android assistant
Tried the MMI code *#9900# and deleted dumpstate/logcat
Deleted the "mysterious large file" .thumbdata
Checked and deleted some odex files
Checked and deleted files under android/data
Installed Lucky patcher (no troubleshooting option)
Unable to install logcat
Unable to search appslib or app-lib
Phone information:
Galaxy grand quattro
Not rooted, stock ROM
phone memory : 1.74GB/ 5GB
SD card 1.5GB/ 32GB
Running process (under applct'n manager): 662MB used, 219MB free
RAM status : 568MB/845MB
I can just reset my phone to factory default but that's just avoiding the problem, I would like to resolve the root cause of the problem. (without rooting the phone)
I believe that we can resolved this issue.
Thank you in advance.

First of all make your phone rooted (then only you can delete modify files) use odin to flah CWM recovery and install superSU with CWM, some apk need root access ( like lucky patcher, root explorer) then use root explorer and go to sdcard/andriod /data and delete only the files which are not working and then try to install them it will work.
Here is the link to rooting :

hi guys ( sorry for my bad english )
i rooted my phone and then installed gl 2 sd to play games , everything working fine and i tested about 30 hd games , after 2 days of enjoying freedom i restarted my phone !
after a restart , my phone started to freeze and reboot every 30 second when i power it up , (i should add i forced to use volum up + power to power up my phone)
however it's fixed
i don't know how but it's automatically fixed
the problem is , after that day i couldn't play games by gl 2 sd anymore
i can't also play games by folder mounts
i checked 'show mounted folder ' option in gl 2 sd and it's show nothing mounted
i think something wrong with my system writable or mount
