So, I've just gotten myself a Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100 running stock - well, touchwiz - 4.0.4), but for some reason I can't figure out I can't get past the Warning screen when entering download mode.
I've done the 3-key combo, but when I see the warning screen the volume up button just doesn't do anything, whilst volume down responds perfectly well and reboots the phone. However, when booted, the volume up button doesn't have any issues. I'm puzzled, and can barely find any information regards this issue.
This phone is still completely stock, I haven't rooted it or anything. I was just following the guide on cyanogenmod (http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S_II:_Full_Update_Guide) and entering download mode is one of the first steps.
Any help much appreciated!

If you can't use the up button to get into download mode, try THIS method on for size.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with the 7 inch display. I have not rooted it or modded it in anyway.
It will not boot past the SAMSUNG (with the pulsing blue color) screen. Product support wanted me to put it into recovery mode, but it won't enter recovery mode when holding power and the volume keys (either volume up or down). It just starts to boots, restarts, and then shuts down.
What do I need to do to get this thing working again? I use it all the time for school.
I have Samsung Galaxy Win Duos Gt-I8552.

Hello XDA
I'm in the process of rooting my Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace.
I'm unable to boot it into recovery mode.
I held "Volume Up + Home + Power" in order to do it, but the screen turns on like normal, but with a small red exclamation mark. It stays like that and nothing happens. I'm unable to post a link since I'm new
My volume buttons are working fine.
Thank you very much.
