After i updated to v4.2
i got the 2nd setting app and it also named 'settings' (there was only 1 app when i was in v4.0
but i just can find 1 setting app in the app manager
is it normal?

no, it works verry well
because ROM for S5 already changed the key behavior

btw is wifi-direct working on your device ???
on the 4.0 it searched for device though it was useless. but after the 4.2 update if i try to share file via wifi-direct a pop up appears "settings has stopped !!!"

No, not that. Let me lay down things to be clear.
When i was at 4.0, everything was perfect, and like youve said that the menu key works like S5's
But when i updated to 4.2 via mirror since the OTA was buggy, my menu and home keys are not functioning, at all.
I had to revert back to my backup of 4.0. I'm fine with two settings app, but if i had to endure without a functioning home and menu key, then I'm stuck with 4.0, which i am right now.
There was a report at the dev thread about the same case but none bothered to address the issue, and since I'm technically in the forums a newbie with less than 10 posts(though ive been lurking for quite a while), I can't post on the dev forums.

Mine doesnt work either, maybe mine has to do with most samsung garbage not installed on my phone, maybe some missing things needed to run

@invano you are my hero.
Ever since I upgraded to KitKat there are 3 modules that I missed.
1. Maximize widgets on lockscreen:- Source
2. Multiple Widgets and Camera on secure lockscreen:- Source
3. Disable Samsung Notifications Widget:- Source
Now I don't have to worry about #3 since you made this awesome module :good::good:
But is there anyway you can make #2 compatible with KK? (After installation I get option to add widgets on secured lockscreen but they wont stick..so it looks there needs to minor code changes to make it compatible with KK)
And also #1 was made compatible with KK a while ago but it would be awesome if you could look at the source and see if you can make any improvements to it

Don't worry, they will be KK compatible. It's just matter of time I think.

I made this module because there is no possibility to disable the samsung widget a part from modifying some smali code.

Of course by removing particular apks you obtain the same behavior...but what about stability, splanner o something else?
I made this module because I prefer to hook a particular method rather than disabling applications that could come back useful in a near future.

JB 4.2 doesn't have an SPlannerKeyguardWidget.apk only KeyguardWidget.apk which, presumably, is the lockscreen widgets as a whole, so uninstalling is not an option.
Edit: The other one that @louforgiveno mentioned is also not present.

I installed this on my SGSV and i thought it had worked.
But im now getting missed notifcations on my lock screen again.
Was i imagining things?
I desperatly need this ! Though it didnt work on my rooted s5 stock rom .. Strange all mods from xposed work without any problem ..

In stock multi windows we can have only 2 apps opened and visible at the same time.
If you are rooted and on the last KK ROM it's possible to have 3 or 4 apps opened at the same time on the same screen, read further...
Make a backup, just in case.
Open your /system/etc/permissions folder,
add .bak at the end of com.sec.feature.multiwindow.xml,
download the attached zip (DO NOT FLASH IT:cyclops,
extract it,
copy the files to your /system/etc/permissions folder,
set their perms to rw, r, r or 644,
reboot.
Open any app from the flash bar (the multi windows app launcher on the side) and open a second one.
Now open a third one and drag it to any side, it will take one quarter of the screen. Open a fourth app, same story, now you have 4 apps opened on the same screen.
Every app is fully resizable, both in lenght and in width...
I'm sorry, I can't take any screenshot from my phone, but if you want to see how it looks do a google images search with "quad view multi window".
Enjoy and stay tuned, there's probably more to come!!!

Hi,.....I did it all and it's working only that now when i open my Gallery it says "Unfortunately Gallery has Stopped".......any ideas?
Does anyone else have this issue??

Well i went back to an earlier BackUped ROM which i had, did the procedure again and all good now!......no Gallery problems either.

Worked initially for me. But after some time I could not enable multi window from notification tab. Even after long pressing back button the multi window tab not enabling.
What about the DPI itself ? Is it finely fitted the window however its size ?

Yep, it fits fine. Try it by yourself...
By the way, I'm currently working on doing the same for 4.2.2 and it already works more or less. It's not exactly the same than in 4.4.2 cuz it's more like the 5 layouts from the note 2, but the screen splits in 2, 3 and 4 which is the desired effect. A bit more testing and improving and I'll put it on a new thread...

Just give it a try, it can't harm your phone and no need to worry about bootloops

Yes. I have the MetroPCS mega with megalomanic's Metro MegaKat Deodex V6 TW 4.4.4 rom and this mod works. I have not yet needed to actually view four different apps on the screen simultaneously but I did it just to test this mod. As a matter of fact I just tested it again while writing this post. Works fine.

The member Kolda_CZ was able to get the Google Dialer working on S6 without root permission, I tested it on my LG G4(H815) and so far it's working great!

with a layers theme it is also possible to theme the dialer / contacts app. now i have a dark dialer again!
i hope we will see a dark theme for the rest of the ui anytime in the future. the available one do always have bugs with dark font on dark background.
I installed google dialer on my MM stock rom, and disabled the Contacts app (the LG app) from Titanium Backup. The dialer works flawlessly, and the no FC whatsoever when searching for contacts. Much much better than the LG dialer! I also kept the LG in-call UI because I like it better than the Google in-call UI.
Only thing is that I'm rooted and I installed the app manually by placing the apk files in the [app-priv] folder inside the [system] folder.
How do you replace the in-call ui? mine still with LG stock ui, how can i change it?

I am not on stock anymore but it is possible / done it myself in the past...
I believe you should go to settings / general / applications and there you have on upper right 3 dot menu. From there you can change the dialer (the same time you change in-call UI,
or,
on the same location go to Dialer.apk and you will have 3 dot menu on same location... Sorry, I don't remember anymore...

I downloaded the latest version and set it to my default dialer. I can't disable it the stock dialer since I'm not rooted, so I just changed the default dialer to the Google.

Try this:
Go to Settings > Apps > 3 dots (top right) > Configure Apps > Default Apps > Phone App and select the new app.
Now go to Settings > Apps > 3 dots (top right) > Reset default Apps and remove the old dialer
It needs just only phone numbers in the contacts as setting so you don't have emails etc under contacts like the older/original version

Galaxy labs is a new feature of s7 ans s7 edge.
*.Show all apps on home screen:This is an option that’s not really going to offer something special but it quickly shows all your applications on the home screen following which there’s no App Drawer. We had earlier heard rumors that the Android N may not feature the App Drawer & this option is somewhat close to what was rumoured. Once you enable this all the applications would move to the home screen in the order of how they were installed and there’s no other customization offered. If you disable this option a message would appear stating “A separate Apps screen will be created so that you can easily find your most important apps via the Apps icon on the home screen. Any customizations you have previously made to the home screen will be discarded.

The whole point of it is to remove clutter and rarely used apps from your homescreen, and allow you to customise your homescreen without stupid amounts of icons all over the place making it look ugly like iOS

I have the same problem ( SM - G900FD ) But I used the APK file for S6 and not the zip file attached here because I can not root the phone so I can not do flash .

Finally a thread about this rom on Xda,on MIUI forums you have to comment in order to get download link and that thread is full of "thanks" comments because of that. Finally we can have some constructive feedback on this Rom and how it stands compared to others from this forum. Anyone tested it yet and willing to share experience. Just control exposer +1 or +2 in setting,and you are done with enough brightness. In stock camera of this rom.And footej camera works well too.
Gps bug is still there, when i tried to access weather with AccuWeather it's always reboot..
Without Gapps, camera recording is not working, it also make a reboot when you try to record with camera. If you didn't install Gapps.

I changed my weather provider from AccuWeather to Yahoo Weather Provider and it's work well without rebooting..

If you use google,You don't need a weather provider.A weather widget is already available in google search app.

I you guys found reboot experiences after opening any apps, just go to setting > privacy > privacy guard. In advance menu just disable location access for any apps that causing a reboot. It solved reboot problem for me..
I tested this rom yesterday. I used the encrypted version.
- GPS not working at all
- Mobile network restart every 2 min. incl. entering simpin.
After that I tested RR and Bliss again - there everything works - must be a problem with this rom.
