is the siedio 4800mah battery larger or smaller then the hyperion and anker extended batteries?

Seeing as they package their batteries with a compatible back door I would suspect the battery is bigger than OEM standard.

As to whether the battery is bigger than the Anker or Hyperion, a good rule of thumb is if it's the same mAh and the same chemistry (lithium-ion) they are the same size. Nobody is wasting space on these things and nobody has special processes to pack more mAh into a smaller space so you won't find a 4800 mAh battery the same size as an OEM 3200 mAh . Though it's nice to imagine we could find such a thing.
So the hyperion and anker would be larger in size ?

I believe they are the same size. At least they use the same back cover. I use the "Seido DILEX Extended with Metal Kickstand for use with Seidio 4800mAh Extended Batteries" with my Anker 6400 mAh battery, and that fits perfect.

I am thinking of buying a Mugen extended battery for my HD. I know it's bulkier, but I don't mind the extra dimensions/weight for the peace of mind that I won't run out of power. I have used Mugen before for my last smartphone, and I was totally happy with the performance.
I also know from past experience, how difficult it was to find a case that fit the phone with the extended battery.
Anybody use a pouch type (preferably leather) case that fits the HD with the extended Mugen battery? either 4500mAh or 3000mAh
Thanks in advance for sharing this valuable information
I was looking for the same thing too because I bought a 2500mah extended battery with extended cover from Boxwave but I cant seem to find a case that will fit my HD with a extended battery, so what I did is I bought some cheap silicon cases from ebay and just modified it to fit my Touch HD with extended battery.
a case for extended battery

That one feets very well both stock HD battery and Extended 2800 mAh. Tested by muself. To proove i can post a few photos.
I'm pretty sure the Galaxy SIII will have decent battery life and when ROMs and kernels come around it'll be even better. The S3 having a 2100mah battery, do you guys think it's possible for 3rd parties accessories maker to do like a 2500 Mah battery like the note? Or will it be too big and add bulk to the phone with an bigger back cover?
There will definitely be extended batteries, but any that add significantly to the capacity will have their own rear casing and add some bulk. Mugen often make batteries the same size as the originals with a slight edge in capacity, but I doubt they'd get it to 2500mA.
Im sure there will at some point be extended batteries available in much higher capacities with their own back covers. This might actually be beneficial for those worried about getting scratched camera lenses.

Nfc antenna is in the battery so Kepler that in mind when looking for a replacement
Extended batteries on eBay
I found some extended batteries for sale on eBay. All of them seem to ship from China. Some are 2300 and 2500 mAh and appear that they fit using the standard back cover. Other larger batteries come with a new back cover making the phone thicker. The downside of both options is that none of the extended batteries seem to include NFC support. It's a shame that the phone's NFC feature was built into the battery.
Extended Battery and Cover
I think what you are looking for is the power case from droidax. They have a new one that fits the GS3 and has 2300 mAh battery inside. That doubles the battery capacity.

Waiting on the full line from Seidio myself. They said they are working on an extended battery but currently have no ETA. I usually buy the whole suite; Comes with a battery, back cover, 3 layers of casing and a holster. My opinion is that practicality is more important than how thin and light the phone is. My EVO 4g lasted a week with Seidio's extended battery. Hope to get the same with the SGS3.
I see this time and time again, but also I guess this is why there is a market for fake batteries.
Think of a battery as a fuel tank, you want to run the motor for longer? you need a bigger tank. Any battery that claims to have a larger capacity yet maintain the same physical size is either utilising battery technology no one else knows about or its too good to be true.

You can get a 2300mAh battery that gives like 10% extra capacity or a huge 4600mAh battery (2.2 times more capacity). Second one comes with back door because of bulk and adds like 11mm to the phone.
Found this video for the above mentioned battery.
Has anyone tried these batteries before?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-4200mAh-...for-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3-N9000-/201066103414
I'm not sure how many mah is in the stock battery but 4200mah sounds a like a lot! And it's standard size, not fat.
My phone lasts all day without problems but I want to buy a spare one for traveling, so I don't have to be one of those iphone people at the airport hogging all of the outlets! hahaha
The standard Note 3 battery is rated at 3200mAh so 4200mAh is an extra 1000mAh (+31%) rather a lot to claim for the same dimensions.
I would be very doubtful about any battery the same size that claimed more than +5% to +%10

Not a bad price if they perform as well as the standard battery. The added charger is a plus!

Looks like the listing is gone, but i got the anker set from amazon and it works great, it's at 3200mah like the stock battery and it last me as long as the stock one and feels about the same quality, it's 29.99 so 10 bucks more but i've always been satisfied with anker products, here is the link anker batteries and amazon will let you return it, good luck
Think these TQTHL A+ brand:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3900mAh...Galaxy-Note-3-N9000-N9002-Phone-/321424073342
Are any good?
I purchased these batteries (the gold ones) back when I had a GS2. They, like these quoted about 30% higher mAh rating than the OEM batteries. My experience was they lasted about the same as the OEM. I think they just fudge the numbers for marketing purposes. The batteries are certainly cheaply made, I had the top terminal plates come loose on two of the ones I owned. When I bought them they did not have NFC support like the OEM battery, but they made no claim for it either. I used them for about 2 or three years with no real issues other than the terminal plates which was fixed with a bit of tape.
If you need a cheap battery to back up your existing batteries I would say they do the job. If you are looking for a higher capacity battery look elsewhere.
I would only trust stock samsung made batteries and anker 3200mah for slimness, too many fakes and fire hazards with those other posers claiming to be more. ZeroLemon and Mugen are the go to companies for extreme battery life tho they do add extra bulk to the phone, i myself prefer the added weight it gives the note 3 as well as the protection and extended battery life it provides.
Theres also those rechargable battery packs that go for around $25-40

The 'Gold' batteries are BS!
Check out this 2 pack + charger from Lumsing. Good reviews and less than $20 assuming you have prime or can hit the free ship requirement. I bought these + anker and can't tell the difference from stock.

If you can't hit the shipping minimum, then get anker from eBay for $26 with free ship. Sales tax to CA.

I wonder if slim power bank is better solution.

I rather buy that 2500 mah battery kit than this brick
Lol. It is fairly ugly looking.
I just use a spare battery which is
3720 Mah .
Odd though- because two Alpha Batteries are nowhere near as thick as this thing.
Is there a small piece of Pizza in there or a money clip maybe ?
If it could do wireless charging, it would sell so much more.
