Is this true? Looking to buy a new G3 off someone on craigslist and the guy is saying it's unlocked, and that the Verizon G3 comes unlocked already. I didn't know of this so it's news to me if true. Just wanted to check in to make sure it's true. thanks
Yes it does.

Forgive my ignorance, but will this also help devs unlock the OTA bootloader, as well?

From what i heard the Bootloader wont be unlocked anytime soon unless we can start beating up Verizon. Still stuck on latest OTA not unlocked
It sucks. I only got my DNA two weeks ago and it was already on 2.04. Life hates me I suppose...

Just keep like rest of us... I believe the majority will have standard thus will get same development capabilities we already have bootloader work around and root!

Agreed... my initial though was I might as well just take it back and get the developer version.
But I'm confident the standard one will be the more popular device

Considering the developer edition won't even work on Verizon, I'm going to have to keep mine.

Oh, that. That though, is just a GS4 with an unlocked bootloader. It won't be a "Google Edition" and won't be getting updates with the actual GS4 GE. No point since we already have bootloader workaround.

Keep what you have got because the developer's edition probably won't have any Verizon support or warranty protection.

##data# brings up msl tool box idk much about it sorry...

I know it's snarky, but I love it, esp when it's well deserved.
because seriously, five links down, and there they (the codes) all are.
and that user tends to post practically monosyllabic requests for every question, making a new thread to do it.

For what it's worth, I would not, and I haven't read anything beyond the first post. It's not made for your phone. You become a test pilot, although I suspect some have had success with it.

Not sure yet lol bought this off a friend who needed the money. It's pretty cool but there's no development for it. I might keep the s4 for roms.

That's what scares me lol. It has a 3300mah stock battery and it has pogo pins on the back so you can connect a flip case they sell that has a 1200mah battery built in. So 4500mah is pretty good but it doesn't beat the piece of mind of having a few charged batteries ready to go.

I wonder if it will be in the form of a software update. I'm rooted. Would be nice if there was some way to flash it through recovery.
