I got the Tempered glass protector and the carbon fiber back. I wanted to get SOMETHING on the phone while I decide what kind of case I'm going to get.
I REALLY like the backing. I was always a little leery about setting my phone down because I want to try and keep it nice looking, so being worried about scuffs and the like, having the CF backing saves that worry. I think it looks great too.
The glass protector I'm not as impressed with. It goes on easy, and looks nice. Decent fit.
But it seems REALLY fragile/brittle. I put it on yesterday and this morning on my way to work I had the phone in my cupholder. When I took off from a light the phone tipped and it cracked/chipped a corner already. Even tonight I picked up the phone and lightly bumped it against a metal tubing on my computer desk and got another chip on the edge.
It doesnt look bad, it's not in the way, but knowing it's that fragile is a bit of a letdown.
They do have lifetime warranty with minimal shipping fees to send a replacement so I may activate that after I decide on a case.
I got some of the dry install protectors and they're very cheap. The corners absolutely will not stick, I even attempted a wet install as a last resort, no luck.
Aside from that they are also cut horribly and don't fit very well. I also got some USB cables from them and those are also very cheap, they won't charge anything, I haven't tested transfer speed yet.

Eventually found them. They don't show up if you hit their carbon menu item. Oh well, got my case...wouldn't have been worth it...couldn't see it anyway. Got my glass protector. Nice...like how it feels/looks compared to the old wet-apply and glad I didn't have to pay $40 for one...sadly got one bit of dust under it just at the edge and it must be thick enough to keep a small amount of the screen from sealing down no matter what I do. Oh well...it's in the black space above the screen.
Seems as though the giveme85off coupon expired on the 22nd. Anybody know of any other coupon codes?

I think this company is somewhat of a rip-off/scam. They way overprice their items then offer huge discounts to get people to buy. I ordered the glass screen protector and it is no better or worse than other protectors. I had to order 2 items so I also ordered the card holder that sticks to the back of the phone. I have to say it is a cheap POS made of flimsy rubber. I would stay away from this company. You always get what you pay for.

Has anyone used Moshi screen protectors? Worth the $25?
Although my SGS2 has Gorilla Glass, thinking that AT&T's 3 pack (for $10) of CaseMate screen protectors would be a no-brainer and not have to worry about scratches on the screen. However, the store said they aren't carrying those for the SGS2 but that the Moshi is a much better protector.
Here's the link - $25 for one protector seems steep to me
http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-ph...sku=sku5370231&q_manufacturer=&q_model=#fbid=
I have it. Its nice because it covers the att logo.
Id like to figure out a way to nicely cut out the circles for the navigation buttons. Would be easier to find when the back light is off while in the dark

It is a nice screen protector, but is anti-glare (which some people like) and anti-glare protectors wash out the screen color some. I'm going to try out a couple cheap clear protectors and see if I like them.
If you want or like anti-glare this is a good one then.

i personally like them, it makes the screen "a little" darker, and probably to some diminish the quality, but it is just fine for me. i personally like the way they feel opposed to the glossy ones but to each his own.
Yea, I have a couple of friends that like anti-glare, and I can understand why. I just don't like how much it affects the screen appearance.
although even clear screen protectors affect the screen appearance some as will. I would like to go without one, but I work in a manufacturing environment so if I want to keep the phone in decent shape I have to.

I'm wanting to try some cheap ones off eBay and the SGP one.. but don't want to waste so much money on screen protector.. trying to wait for the SGP Neo Hybrid case to come out which it should include one screen protector. I really like the Power Support Anti Glare for iPhone 4 but then there isn't that option for the SGSII. Even though the screen is hard to scratch, I usually prefer having a screen protector just to ease myself from being paranoid lol
I love the Moshi, although I admit I'm not sure if I'd pay $25 for it.
I get 50% off of accessories, so after getting the Moshi for the Infuse, getting it for the GS2 was a no-brainer - especially given how many smudges I got on it in the hour I spent dumping the stock kernel.

I'm fairly certain if I were to buy lots of extra accessories for other people it would raise a red flag.
i just bought the moshi and they gave me a 25% coupon after asking about it so it was about 20$ and i dont really like the black ends covering up the att logo but i have to admit its a nice screen protector

Thats the moshi on mine, it's a bit dirty from fingerprints and well the picture quality is crappy because my Roomie's droid pro is a piece of crap But you can clearly see no bubbles!
Moshi with a Case Mate, both from the ATT Corpo store.
I love the moshi, but there are some odd rainbow color effect in the middle.
you should see if you can exchange it... i dont have that problem with mine
Im not seeing any rainbow effect... hard to tell with your background..
Here's the rainbow effect shown a little better. It's much more visible in person, however, it almost disappears when the screen turns on.
So, this isn't normal for these Moshi screen protectors? I should take it back for a new one?
Thanks
Just received my tempered glass screen protector from Singapore and this thing is sick. Fits directly over the entire phone screen and get this...covers the entire Verizon logo on the top! Shipped with unbelievable speed considering it came from overseas. Ordered 8/5 received today with no extra shipping paid. The three capacitive buttons are a little tricky to align but its a perfect fit. Its slightly tinted to give it a privacy effect. For 30$ I couldn't be happier.

$30 Why is the screen protector more expensive than a screen replacement?
I'd pay $30 just to cover up the Verizon logo. That logo is seriously my least favorite part of the phone lol. Also does it actually go all the way to the edge or just to where the screen curves into the bezel?

Not bad, but I didn't line up bottom buttons perfect & some of the black border covers the home button
I would have preferred one without the black border but no other choice for the DNA
Summary - I love tempered glass vs plastic film so this is great & the best available, however, I would go with Mime USA, Spigen or Bear Motion if they had a DNA version . I don't think I'd pay the premium for Bodyguardz.

This is the one I have, beyond all believe this thing is unbelievably well made.
I cannot express that I have had this single screen protector since May, it has absolutely zero scratches on it, I haven't had to re apply it, even though it comes off and can be put back on instantly.
It's anti glare too. I'll have to charge my camera to take a picture to do this thing justice. the clear material is made out of something like 100x stronger than the black stuff on the edges. I have scuffs and scratches on the protector on the plastic areas, but they are tiny and almost impossible to see since its black on black anyway.
I always thought screen protectors just suck in general and would have to get like a "5 pack" to keep chucking them, this thing is one of a kind.
Wow good find, thanks.
If you order two you save a dollar.
Might have to order one now that I got a tiny scratch on this screen....

I have one on my HTC vivid. It has a small gap between the protector and the screen. It works well enough, but will cause the occasional phantom touch. The small gap also removes a little clarity when compared to traditional screen protectors. Its not a bad product. The price reduction only makes it better.

Mine came via USPS priority mail today even though AT&T provided a FedEx tracking number in confirmation e-mail. Installation was easy and it seems to be a nice product. Was able to put my Ventiv case on without lifting up corner of screen protector, which happened with both Zaggs I had on phone.

What color is what, the screen protector or the case as there are pics at the website when you place the order. The screen protector is translucent primarily and black in the areas of the bezel with "holes" to show the front lights on the bottom face and cutouts for the camera/sensors.
The case is a titanium-like finish aka gunmetal gray basically with the pink and blue inserts (both included).
That's about it.
I got the Moshi screen protector (ordered it Saturday, came about an hour ago), and I had a similar one on an Atrix 2 in 2012 but could never figure out what company made it. As soon as I took this one out of the packaging I realized it was Moshi that made the one for the Atrix 2 so I'm well aware of their quality, and this one for the LGOG is no different. I prefer this kind of screen protector for several reasons: a) no bubbles, and they say that in the marketing info and it's true, there are no bubbles to contend with (although a little dust or whatever can get on your nerves as you try to remove them during the install process), and b) it's a hard piece of whatever material they use so it's easy to remove and reapply (can even be washed if necessary and it'll retain that stickiness for reapplication), and finally c) it's matte and fingerprint proof which is awesome awesome awesome.
Did I say it's awesome?
Anyway, while I'd never pay $25 for one of these, the $5 offer is just too damned good to pass up so if you want something to protect that already tough Gorilla Glass 2 I can't recommend this one from Moshi - for $5, no less - any higher.
Is it possible to use the Moshi screen protector with the body glove case? If not, would it be doable if I trimmed the screen protector?
I can't see why not, the Moshi one is about as thick as a playing card so, it should be just fine as far as I can imagine. It fits almost to the very edge of the glass (like maybe .5mm smaller than the edge of the glass itself), so the case that I have on it right now - a two-piece hard matte black plastic one - fits fine, actually a little more snug because of the thickness of the Moshi protector actually.
I jsut got my note 3 this morning and am wondering what my choices are for cases. I am retardedly hard on my phones. I dont believe I have ever not broken the glass on any of my phones and Id like to put that to an end.
I see they finally released a defender for the note 3, but im wondering if there are any other choices out there. I think the otter box is kinda ugly.. I undertsand cases that offer that sort of protection are bulky, but they dont have to be so blandish and grey.
I would like to run a tempered glass screen protector because I loved the one I had on my note 2 but ill sacrifice a good case with no glass protector.
thanks guys

The seidio ones are by far the best cases out there in my opinion. I've had a lot of cases for all my iPads and iPhones and now my note etc. Otterbox I'm not a fan of because of the annoying screen protector and man are they ugly.
I went the seidio route years ago and could never turn back since. If you chose to to go with the belt clip option, it's just fantastic. It's the only belt clip I trust while on my motobikes and going up and down a ladder at work.
Ive even dropped my phone at the motocross track and had a car run over it and never had a problem, although I'm sure I'm pushing my luck lol.
That said, for those times you don't need that much protection the outside layers come off revealing a stick thin case as well... So it's like multi purpose!

Thanks — that looks like a good case... if only somebody in the UK stocked it! (nearly $25 in shipping, and probably customs charges on top, doesn't really appeal... and their UK reseller doesn't list the holster or have the case in the colour I want!)
I'm a big fan of the cheapie hybrid cases from ebay & Amazon. I have a few different styles, I just got this one this one yesterday & I feel like I could safely hurl my phone at a brick wall with it on.
This one is also really good. Fits nice & tight and offers a lot of nice grip.
Frankly I like these kinds better than the real OBs because once the silicone wears out in 3 months, you don't feel ripped off cause you only spend $8 versus $60. Plus, colors
I have a Mime USA tempered glass protector and if you want to go that way (or with any other brand) you could get a Ballistic Case SG MAXX case as somebody else suggested. Steer away from Otterbox OR Trident Case, as you will not be able to snap the two case's pieces together because of the glass' added thickness. As a matter of fact, stay away from any case which has rigid parts going over the screen if you go with glass protector.
I ended up going with the UAG/Spigen TR combo. Should be here tomorrow afternoon. 72$ with free 2 day shipping from amazon. I'll let everyone know how it goes

You should think about the tech 21. Thin with great protection.
So I got me an otterbox from eBay and I just received it now pretty disappointed. It's made in China and usually otterbox are made in usa. Am I correct?

Has anyone heard of or had any experience with this?

Reviews on Amazon seem fairly positive.
It's $25 free s/h, cheaper than Spigen and more reviews.
Nice find. I bought a cheap one from ebay but I like the cutout on this one and the round edges.

Here...its a MAJOR GO!
Thats not me...
I've had the 9H for 2-3 months now and mine has started to lift a little. It started last week and stretches from the upper left hand corner to the edge of the glass directly above the Samsung S.
It's no better than a $7 one from ebay and their CS is far from impressive.
Try the MIME USA Feather Glass, rated 9H and .15mm thick. Mine has been on for a couple of months and still looks brand new.

Flossy Carter made a review of this on youtube if you want to check it out!
I used the MIME Ghost Glass on my S4 and was amazing so I bought it for the Note 3 and I'm loving it as well. Plus lifetime warranty. It ever breaks... It's half price to replace as many times as you need to.
Thing about those lifetime warranties is that you could buy at least 2 generic ebay ones for the price of one MIME replacement (or w/e brand).
Yeah but they are better. The cheap ones a lot of the time don't add the oleophobic coating they start to look bad in a short amount of time. My S4 looks today like it did it did when i put it on back in June.
ive been using the iloome one for over a month now and it gets scratched REAL easy. then again ive been trying to see just how scratch resistant it is by sliding it around on a smooth table face down. and yeah it scratches SO easy wow. i havent tried other ones but im sure they all do.

No problems. But I do use the magnetic accessory from a spigen that holds the cover closed. The cover was able to stay closed before I used this magnetic addition, however after prolonged use (being flipped open and folded over) it would have a tendency to not lay flat on the screen. This was always a tendency of the S view cover and not due to the glass screen protector.

Im leaning more towards Mime but im not sure which to get. Feather or ghost glass? In their website it shows they both have different cutouts on top. Is that the case or are they both cut the same?

I have had this a month and it is crystal clear and works great with S Pen. I use this with Zero Lemon 10000 mAh battery. Great together. Shout out to Flossy for his reviews!
