Thanks will report here.
Can you please add an option to disable the swipify launcher?
I have more than one launcher installed, to try out which is best atm (all are still in development i guess).
The other launchers have options to disable them, which is needed if you try out another launcher (same gestures).

Swipify - Android Wear Multitasker & Launcher
In this BETA release, I have added
• Radial Launcher (multitasker style). Now swipe from left edge of the screen, take your finger to the app you want to launch & let go to launch the app.
• 6 apps are shown in each batch of Radial launcher. To see next batch of apps, take your finger back to the left edge of the screen.
• Multitasker & app launcher optimizations.
Just tried it with the radial dial...and well it didnt work. The app I would swipe my finger to is completely different then the app that launched. For instance, I would move my finger to the Fit app...on the top of the screen, it would list some other app, and launch that lol

Anybody got this working running N5 whit L-preview?
Nice app. Have a few issues.
Wi-Fi teather toggle doesn't work. Works fine with wear mini launcher. n5 stock 4.4.4 w/gravity box.
Also concerning ware mini launcher, I like how their 'find phone' feature just produces a chirp instead a blasting ring tone.

This app has been tested on Nexus 5 by a few testers & it seems to be working fine on their device. Try updating the app.
As far as ringtone volume is concerned, In my opinion, a "little chirp" sound defeats the purpose of finding phone, if under certain scenarios this chirp is not listened by the user.

Glad to see more Rom options arrive! thank you
So I downloaded and installed. Everything seems to be working fine except that I can't bring up the menu option. I checked hardware keys, long press home as menu and it just brings up Gnow. Can't get menu to pop up at all.
Camera works fine, FFC has a slight bluish tint.
GPS locks within 8 seconds.
Lte is working once I changed the APN to "fast.T-Mobile".
Themes work properly.
**edit**
I tried flashing the teamseven kernel, "back, menu and home" kernel, the logo as menu didn't do anything just vibrate.
Flashed the "back, home and menu" kernel. So now the logo works as home but the home button just vibrates and does nothing at all.

Does this rom support the IR blaster?
Hi. By all means go for it. Yes, I am the original author. There's 2 commits, I've been meaning to squash but meh. One is the initial commit, the other appends bootclasspath in qcom.rc instead of init.rc. That commit is a gift to the community so go for it. It's so clean every build should run it. Any issues hit me.
Sorry I had PM turned off.

Sorry everybody, this project is DEPRECATED. I cannot bear my poor phone's sticky performance in dalvik mode even if I uninstalled Xposed Framework. And I think that this module will be of no use since Android L's new interface and animations will be much better than swipe back gestures. Sorry.
Here is a Xposed module, which adds global swipe back gesture to your Android phone or tablet.
Features:
* Global swipe back gesture
* Per-app settings
* Custom gesture direction
Usage:
* Download and install
* Activate in xposed, then reboot
* Configure swipe edge as you like
* Swipe! (For example, if you set "Swipe Edge" to bottom, you can swipe from the bottom of an actvity to the top, and then it will be finished)
* If you found any app not working with this module, you can add it to Blacklist, and contact me with it's name.
Tests Info:
* AOSP 4.4.x (Kitkat) - Works Fine
* MIUI v5 (JellyBean) - Works with little problems
* Android 4.1-4.3 (JellyBean) - Almost Fine
Requirements:
* Android version >= 4.1
* Xposed Framework version >= 2.4.1(42+)
Credits:
* Issacw0ng (for his original SwipeBackLayout library)
Changelog:
2.0.0
* New: Per-app settings
* Removed: First-run tutorial
* NOTICE: AFTER UPGRADING TO THIS VERSION, YOUR SETTINGS BEFORE WILL BE LOST
1.1.6
* New: Hungarian Translations (thanks to szunyi777)
* New: Option to disable Surface Recycling System (Only for advanced users, may fix some crashes)
* Fixed: Settings dependencies
* New: Swipe sensitivity adjustment
1.1.5
New: adjustable edge size
New: switchable blacklist/whitelist
Fixed: InCallUI could be swiped out
Fixed: Surface recycling system on KitKat was not working
Improvement: Blacklist/Whitelist is in alphabetical sort
Improvement: code logic
1.1.0
PLEASE DO A WIPE FOR THE SWIPEBACK APP DATA IN SETTINGS (if it crashes) IF YOU UPGRADE TO THIS VERSION
* Fixed: Rotation would not work when SwipeBack was enabled
* New: Support multiple edges setting
* Try to fix: some app's full-translucent background
* New: First-run tutorial (Credit: ShowcaseView, and this is why the apk size increased so much)
* New: About activity
* Others: code cleanups & tidier package floders
1.0.2
* New: show system apps as well in blacklist page.
* Fixed: dialogs would sometimes crash or show improperly
1.0.1
* Initial release

I happened to fix this when I enabled auto-rotate in Trebuchet. I am looking at Threbuchet's source code for solution now.
Wow this is so good. Thanks a ton man. But I have a request. In the window in which to select which sides the gesture would work can one have choice to enable it in only the sides one wants. I mean to say that if instead of giving options to select left right top bottom and all can you implement all the four sides with a check box against each option so that one can select only the sides one wants. It will give more control. For example I want the gesture to be active on right and bottom only. This is because a majority of apps use the left side for there menus. But if I use all option I am stuck with the left side gesture which I don't want. Still an awesome mod. Thanks.

Great module, lots of potential. One suggestion is to set the height of the trigger areas, how far up the screen sides they are. Also when in the app, some sort of indicator to show where to swipe from, to help with the learning curve.
Different animations maybe?

First thanks for this great module, but i have problem after i updated to 1.0.2 i try to open Room toolbox then i open the option and the background is transparant and if i disable swipeback the background is normal. I send the picture as attach.
nice module dev. im using it now and it works with my device LG L7 P705 running CM10.2. but still some apps show weird behavior when using swipe back, e.g. bbm wont show keyboard, tweedle cant open link in builtin browser. the workaround is blacklisting them, which isnt cause me any trouble anymore.

Hey man, great job on the module! I've been waiting for something like it.
Overall this module is perfect, but I do have this strange bug where my phone's rotation doesn't work as long as the module is enabled.
I'm sure you'll fix it, just letting you know. I tried rotating with and without the module several times, it seems that something in the module is disabling the gyro rotation or whatever.
Thanks again for your work, this module is awesome!

Only rotation problem, soon solved
Most apps perfectly work (not Titanium)
Remember many app use left swipe for displaying settings then use bottom or right swipe give optimal working
The HTC Sense Car Mode app had some features removed or changed from the previous versions. Namely, statusbar pulldown has been blocked, along with switching apps and basically multitasking.
The reason for this is probably safety; to discourage drivers from tinkering too much with their phones while driving - and while I'm fully behind that I believe in giving people options - which is why I created this module!
So far it allows you to:
Bring back multitasking (status bar and 'recent apps' functionality).
Release the 'Home' button to let it go back to the default launcher.
Replace the default 3-Tap gesture action with anything you want!
Turn Wi-Fi and GPS on or off at startup and shutdown.
Bypass the exit confirmation dialog.
Automatically close apps opened from within the Car App on shutdown (requires root to be fully functional!)
And more features coming in all the time!
If you love the HTC Car app as much as I do, you'll enjoy this!

Version 2.2
Added Sense 7.0 Compatibility
Fixed an issue with the screen not staying on in older versions (Android 4.4)
(Not Tested on Sense 6.* Versions!)

Older Versions:
Version 1.9:
Added the option to turn off the screen when exiting the car-app - requires enabling Administrator Privileges (prompted when enabled).
Version 1.8:
Brought back the GPS startup and shutdown mods, should work fine now.
Version 1.7:
Added the option to override the "3-Fingers tap" gesture with either Google Hands-Free, Google Now or a custom app of your choice!
Fixed a bug with the Toggler where it would launch the settings app instead of the car if triggered by 3rd party app (such as NFC or Tasker).
Version 1.6:
Added the "App Toggler" which allows to shut down the car app through a global shortcut, or launch it if it's already closed.
Fixed a bug where Wi-Fi would turn off even by navigating away from the Car app and not just closing it.
Re-did the icon - again! (One day I'll be pleased with it).

Version 1.5:
Fixed "Multitasking"! Yes, the "Recent Apps" button now works and doesn't break anything! Thanks to the brilliant RichmondoUK for pointing me in the right direction.

Version 1.4:
Added 'Exit mods':
Change GPS and Wi-Fi states on exit
Close apps opened from the Car App (either using a regular shut-down which doesn't always work or the more powerful 'root' method).

Information
Why disable a safety feature?
The HTC Car App introduced those blocking 'features' for an obvious reason: to discourage people from fumbling around with their phones while driving.
That's a good and important cause, but unfortunately it's not a very smart method of doing it - which is why this module was created. Consider the following scenario: You're in your default navigation app with the music player (which is controllable by the car app) running in the background. You want to skip the currently playing track. If everything's at stock, the new restrictions make it an annoyingly long process: You have to click the home button, enter the music control applet, skip the track as you normally would, then click the home button again, find the navigation app's icon and re-launch it. Without those restrictions all you do is pull down the statusbar, click the 'skip' button on the music player's active notification tile, and pull it back up.
HTC's restrictions - which are supposed to increase safety and attention while driving actually make it longer and more attention-consuming to perform such tasks.
This module allows you to overcome those restrictions, mostly, but I must still say - and I can not overstate this enough:
DRIVE SAFELY!
DON'T OPERATE YOUR DEVICE WHILE DRIVING !
Play music, navigate, make and take calls - but do so safely without fumbling around.
If anything doesn't work with less then three touches of the screen, or if it requires you to look at your device for more than a split-second glance - either forget about it or pull over! It's not worth it!
Works as advertised. Upgraded from Sense 5.5 just so I could enable this mod and get to my notifications. Thanks!
Very cool. I use the HTC car app quite a bit and always hated that I had to close it to access anything else. What other tweaks are possible? It would be nice to be able to switch the default music app to Google Music. Disabling wifi on launch would also be slick.
BTW, this works fine on the M7 with Sense 6.

Currently I'm mostly battling with basic things like making the 'recent apps' button work and making the settings toggleable without restarting. Once I get the basics working, I'll start seeing what else I can tinker with. Switching the default music app is not going to be easy because it's deeply integrated within the app, but I'll see what I can do.
As for the wifi, that shouldn't be too difficult.
Glad to hear it's working on other devices as well.
Please add support for all apps in car mode! Currently you can add only a few apps .. For example you can't add Torque
Looks like the 1.1 version changes caused it to stop working with the M7 :crying:
ETA: Looks like it functions properly if "take over home button" is disabled. With that unchecked you can access the pulldown menu as well as reach the desktop or recent apps using the home button.

It might be something else, I noticed that the settings won't take until you run the settings interface at least once.
Please try to re-enable the setting and see if anything changes.
Thanks for the report!

I am pretty sure that I ran settings app prior to trying it out, not completely sure though. I just toggled the home screen option and get the same results. It only works if it is not selected.

Hmm. I'm not getting that on the M8, but I'll look into it.
Unfortunately I don't have an M7 to test on.
Could you for the sake of testing go to the settings interface - uncheck both boxes, then recheck both boxes, then restart your device and see if it works then?
Thanks!

Thanks for the info, I think I know what's causing it:
The mods don't take if the car app is running in the background because it hooks into methods as they load.
There's a command to kill it if it's running in the background and settings have been changed, but it might not have taken - or rather, it also won't be run if settings are at their default state, so if you install the mod, then run the car app, then load the module interface and change nothing - it still won't be set.
Next version will handle this more properly, I hope (currently writing it).

Torque paid. Maybe free is different, but from what I can tell, HTC Car doesn't blacklist any apps from being added to one of the screens.
I agree, there doesn't seem to be a limit on which apps you can add and which you can't.
Your issue must be related to the app itself. Since I'm unfamiliar with Torque, I really can't tell.
Are there any other apps, as far as you can tell, that you can't add?

If I do that when I run the HTC car app the home button will open recent apps if double tapped but otherwise it just returns to car mode when home is pressed. If I disable it pressing home takes me to the desktop and double tapping it takes me to recent apps. I am running NuSenseSIX based off the m8-base fwiw. If you have any tweaks you would like tested let me know, I can provide logcats and such.
Dialer not working
Thank you for this awesome mod. I'm not sure if it's the ROM I'm running, but I can't seem to launch the dialer using this module. All other buttons work normally, as well as the added functions of this module.
I'm running the Venom ROM on the M8.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Good catch. Just shows how much I actually use my 'phone' for calls...had not even tried it yet :laugh:
I have the same issue on an M7, the 'Dialer' button in the car mode app doesn't do anything.

what you mean for packages? icon pack? however, with long click on app icon in settings activity, you can change app icon
Exactly. Yeah... But there are only gallery and photos to choose. No icon packs.
Not working
Not working for galaxy s5 running twisted lolipop which is based on lolipop 5.0. Also, is it possible toove the shortcut positions to the bottom. That would be awesome thats where they used to be placed on the stock galaxy android.
Really slick, works on SlimLP 5.0.2 for VZW G3 (VS985). Thanks for this.
- Any way to add an option to allow apps (when clicked on) to bypass the phone's lockscreen passcode / pattern lock?
- Noticed that if I select the "click twice to open app" option it places two identical rows on the lockscreen instead of just one - may be something just between the module and the SlimLP ROM.
Very good app, thank" u.
I think, It is a little to small icons on on my Sony Xperia Z1 lockscreen, but it' S ok...
Yes! Thank you so much for doing this. This is the main thing I missed from SlimLP.
There's two things that works make this perfect.
1: The ability to hide the app from the app drawer.
2: Long press to launch as an option. This keeps the icon cutoff from happening as well.
Thank you again! Definitely using this from now on.
Great idea - but getting double set of app icons
After choosing my six shortcuts, I locked the screen and turned it back on only to find that there were two identical rows of icons on my lockscreen. Is this possible to fix?
Edit: Fixed it, noticed I was running both this module and gravitybox. Uninstalling one of them cleared the issue.

Absolutely!
With SlimLP's lockscreen shortcuts you have to press and hold one of them for about a second in order to open. Tapping them does nothing.
Currently with single-tap it's a little too easy to open one by accident, and with double-tap the icon scales up and gets cut off before the second click.
Thanks for making the icon hide-able!

Can you make an option of removing that circle around the unlock icon when smart lock is enabled and the phone is connected to a trusted wifi network) device?

Excellent module! Could you possibly add Cyanogenmod lockscreen visualizer? It would make this app ideal, I think.

Current TWRPs builds available are unable to decrypt 12 /data partition.
You can either use DFE zips (discouraged) to decrypt /data and make it readable or wait for a TWRP build capable of decrypt /data itself.
Having data encrypted isn't really a big deal if you plan to sideload ROMs and whatever zip you might need.
But it's your call !

This statement is false.
The matters regarding our download serving methods have been addressed directly by me with @MikeChannon multiple times over 10 and 11 Descendant's android cycle.
If any mod passing by has any doubt they can directly refer to him.

I now see where I went wrong: adblockers installed in my browsers. I hate, hate hate ads. Your demonstration shows a lot of them. I know what to do. Thanks for the effort!
Nice to see another A12 rom for this device. Does it support OTA?
Solid ROM. Thank you!!
Hi, the page for bugs is not working so I'm asking here:
When I plug in some headphones wired or bluetooth the system freezes. It solves by plugin out the headphones.
Anyone with the same bug? I cannot listen to music.
### Edit: Solved.
The problem was Google App. I had to update to the last Play Store version.
I found some minor problems in the ROM that needs to be improved:
1. The Notification menu is not smooth, sometimes it hangs with nothing appearing when swiping down.
2. The touch-sensitive is not good as MIUI. Sometimes, I need to touch two times to the icon to open the app.
Very nice to see A12 Descendant voor Poco X3. After I've passed the 168 hours waiting time (to unlock bootloader) this will be the first rom to install. Thanks devs!
