bro use genius root from pc to root bcm23550 ,
it worked for my xolo q2000L and i find this only way ,
because broadcom with kitkat has not a single root method ,
and like everyone will say , i am not responsible for any damage but it should work.

Hi!
I tried Root Genius 1.8.7 with Windows 8.1
But unfortunately, its not detecting my Xolo Q2000L
Any suggestion ??
try USB adb and installing xolo drivers
Bro for q2000l rooting the only way is root genius n for rooting it u must have to use win 7 coz win8 never install drivers n u ll not able to root.. And ha I think this is a temporary root coz after partitioning my cell automatically gets unroot

I would strongly recomend you to use kingo root. Jt works for all windows and can root any android phne.... First u enable usb debugging mode in developer options and connect to system and it will detect and click on root option it automatically roots your phne in 10 mins and reboots your device and popsup a message grant or deny you always give grant... And tatsit it done. Now you can install any custom rom.
But you have to download cmw recovery image and flash it using flashify app

i am very much eager to root this phone as i have been using XDA from a very long time and have found all my answers right here.

I recently got a OTA update for my phone,but i was not able to install the update. After some research i came to know that i needed a stock recovery image for updating. Currently im on cwm recovery that i downloaded from this site. So please can anyone upload a stock recovery image for xolo a800, 'cause im not able to find it in the internet. I cracked how to root xolo a800 jelly bean .
First download the cwm recovery from xda and download mt6577 scattering file. Now download sp flash tool and super user zip file from anywhere and follow the sp tool flashing process. After flashing the recovery through sp flash tool enter recovery[ you can use the method given in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1982587 ] by holding power and vol up and flash the super user zip and you are done

Hello, It's great to see that the a800 got the jellybean update. Unfortunately the display on mine shattered after a nasty fall and I probably won't be able to enjoy it. The display isn't working at all(completely dead) and I'm not sure if the touch is working. I don't intend to get the display fixed but will find some use for it anyway since the rest of it still working. Before the fall however the most imp feature that I, or anyone really needs, USB debugging, was disabled. I am hoping that someone here might be able to help out. I am thinking about using a physical keyboard, via OTG, to manually go to settings and turn on usb debugging. The device is running the 4.1 stock update. No funny business, yet!
And I have the following questions.
1. At this point, I'm not sure if OTG is supported by the a800. Is it?
2. Can the phone be unlocked via it? The physical unlock button works, and there isn't a pattern just the standard slider?
3. If all of the above is possible could someone please post step-by-step screenshots, or list the steps, if screenshots aren't possible on how to get to settings and enable USB Debugging.
This would really help me out and give a device a new life. Thanks a lot.
Also, although I use xda a lot, I don't quite post as much so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. I posted here since this seems like the only "active" thread about the a800. Please do let me know if you think I should start a new thread.

After tone rooting apk im able to get u 2 apk that helped me to root
Iroot help to intalle root and some Chinese su,
Step one switch on dubbing mode
Step 2 intall below apk
Step 3 root it
Restart it
If still not rooting add one step
Dont unintall above file
Install below file and root it

I have Micromax Canvas L A108.
I used "kingroot" app for rooting purpose.
This takes 2 minutes to root phone.
No problem in that.

I own a Micromax canvas 4 plus A315 and I am running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat unrooted. Its brand new just Bought 3 days ago. It uas launched here 5 days ago.. I couldntbfind any methord to root it.. I tried everything including srs root.. Kingoroot... Vroot .. Cant find an sd file to flash on it.. And just no methord works.. While i was doing with kingo.. In ny device started fastboot and it says flash not allowed and restarted.. Thats all i can say. I want to root it asap . please help me by any methord or providing me with a zip file which i can flash in recovery mode

I've made a TWRP recovery. I need some people who can test it on their device (Micromax Q350). Are you up for it? If it works, you can easily root and modify your device to an extreme level.

memory card problem????????
real problem is here....after all this process my all important data is in my memory card.. i simply removed it from phone and formatted ( hard reset) my phone for better use but now m inserting my SD card but phone is saying unsupported card..... if i want to use it i have to format my memory card...... but what about data???????? all data is in memory card......how it will get recover please suggest.... memory card is not getting detected even in PC.. unable to recover a data.. and i want that all important data.

It can sure be rooted we just don`t know yet !! i am not trying to root just because i don`t want to loose the warranty.

Unfortunately Vivo do not release their kernel sources and so it is very difficult to get root on these devices. I am currently in talks with them to persuade them to hand over the information we require. I have, however, created a custom recovery for the Vivo V3 Max and also an insecure boot image which allows you to access root over an ADB shell, but it will not allow you to install apps which require root access.
If anybody is able to help me get any further than I already have then please send me a PM.
