I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Verizon, rooted, running HyperROM8.
I also have a docking station with HDMI & 2 USB connections.

As it stands, I have a seperate monitor dedicated to the phone and dock. Right now, I must connect a seperate mouse and keyboard to the dock in order to use my docked phone, but I would like to use one mouse & one keyboard to control BOTH my computer, and my docked phone.
I have used Synergy and ShareKM. But both have totally dropped Android and IOS and there doesn't appear to be an alternative that Ican find.
Anyone know of an app to do this? Anyone interested in the idea?
...and, is this the correct sub-forum to ask in?

What do you guys think about this keyboard? I'm thinking of getting it for my new GTab. I had to hurry and post 8 times in order to be able to post a link.

It looks like it would work but doesn't say if the touchpad is multi-touch capable like for pinch-to-zoom features. I got one from Gear Heads that is a touch wider than the tablet itself but has a multi-touch touchpad.
One thing that bothers me about mini-keyboards like this one and the one I bought from Gear Heads is that they don't have a friggin' "shift" key on the right side. So if you're used to typing at a good pace the fact it doesn't have a shift key to press on the right side of the keyboard will be like a speedbump. Otherwise, I prefer a physical keyboard when I have to type a lot and use the virtual keyboard when I don't.
I removed the base with the iphone connecters and just whittled out the base to fit the radar chin and add a bit of back support and voila it fits perfectly.
Sadly the charger port is on the side and headphone jack on the top but hey wp7 is mostly in portrait mode anyways so when Im on my desk I just swipe up down for live tile notifications

Nicely done. I just might do the same to my iPod docking station that is built into my monitor. I have no need for the iPod dock anyways since I don't own any apple products. What did you use for the extra back support? Again, very good idea. Thank you for sharing.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA

I'm not sure if it works, being a somewhat techno blur, but it reminds me of this video:
I got an OTG cable recently and had great fun with it.
it will work
it will work on devices having USB OTG(on the go) support.
I used this on samsung galaxy s2. i connected flash drive, keyboard, mouse. all working.
(i think only android device having this feature is galaxy s2)
There's an app called USB host controller, I haven't had time to really read what it's supposed to do but I do recall reading something about being able to mount a flash drive with it. I don't have the thread bookmarked but I found it here.
I'm using ScreenBeam Mini 2 paired with a LG G4. The connection is great and I am very happy with it. Now I am trying to automate the set up with tasker. When I manually toggle Miracast it connects automatically but I can not find a way for tasker to toggle it. I have two Miracast apps listed. One brings up this screen shot below (but doesn't toggle miracast "on"), the other doesn't do anything.
Using secure settings I see that when I turn on Miracast "wifi_display_on (1)" is being called but I can figure out how to do that through tasker. I am using a LG G4
Any tips?

+1 this. I've been looking for a way to automatically connect when the miracast radio in my car is detected, similar to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The closest I've got is using the autoinput plugin in tasker to mimic me pressing the buttons. This task runs when I connect to Bluetooth in the car
Hi guys,
just to let you know that you can pre-order the Mirabook safely, the team has shown during CES the full compatibility with their dock device. If you want to play on a big screen and with a true PC experience, this is it.

No its not project Linda but something similar from another company. Linda is Razer own concept where the phone is incorporated into the laptop chassis and not only uses the cpu/ram of the phone but the phone becomes the trackpad too.
This one simply connects to your phone by USB C using displayport.
