[Q] CM 10.2.1 Failed to Flash | Samsung Galaxy S3 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My phone is Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-T999L), and after rooting it (worked perfectly, checked with Root Checker) I used TWRP (v2.7.1.0) to backup Boot, System, and Data.
Problem #1: That backup is nowhere to be found using TWRP Restore.
I then proceeded to Install cm-10.2.1-d2tmo.zip, which Failed.
It says:
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
assert failed: getprop("ro.bootloader") == "T99
9UVDLJA" | |
E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/exter
nal_sd/cm-10.2.1-d2tmo.zip'
Error flashing zip
Updating partition details...
Problem #2: Since no backup and CM flash failed, I have no OS to return to and can't do anything with it now.
Help? :crying:

[Q] ICS 4.0.4 to CM 10.1? Error @ clockmod recovery (LG p990)

Hey everyone,
let me warn you in advance that I'm a total noob and I hope that I'm not bothering you too much. I'd be really thankful about some help though!
I hope that I didn't land in the wrong forum section neither.
So I decided to install CM 10.1 as I still have ICS 4.0.4 installed. I'm currently using the DjangoManoucheX1.4_30A ROM.
I followed every tutorial I've seen so far and tried to install the ROM file booting in clockmode recovery mode (v6.0.1.5). I made backups, wiped data/factory reset, cache partition, dalvik cache and battery stats first and tried to install the CM 10.1 ROM afterwards.. but for some reason an error appears.
I'm going to quote the error log:
-- Installing: /sdcard/cm-10.1-20130826-NIGHTLY-p990.zip
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_install
E:failed to open last_install: Invalid argument
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "p990" II getprop("ro.build.product") == "p990"
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-10.1-20130826-NIGHTLY-p990.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Is it due to the fact that I formatted EVERYTHING: /sdcard ; /system; /cache; /data ; /emmc; /sdcard ? Someone told me to do so and then flash the CM 10.1 ROM. But instead it didn't work and in order to be able to boot my smartphone again I had to flash DjangoManoucheX1.4_30A. Apparently some files are missing? Maybe the Clockwork Mod isn't updated? But isn't it a current version?
I'm really getting desperate right now and I'd really appreciate your help!
Thanks a lot!
S.

[Q] U.S Cellular SCH-i905 Unroot back to stock help

Need help getting this tablet back to factory stock.
Current Tablet State:
I get get to recovery (CWM v6.0.3.6) and install zips, but the only ROM that it will boot into is cm-10.1-20131020-NIGHTLY-p4vzw.zip... which is a verizon build. Seems like any other version of CWM causes a looping screen.
I can get to downloading mode and use Odin. Only file that works here with cm-10.1-20131020-NIGHTLY-p4vzw.zip is this file here -> PDA_SIGNED_P7105.tar.md5. With this combo I can actually boot into cm and I have wifi, but it's not what I am looking for here.
I get invalid binaries on the modem.bin or lte_modem.bin when using Odin if I try using any other PDA file. I can't find the U.S. Cellular version of the firmware anywhere on the internet.
if I try an install hc-3.1_ota-full_sam_tab_10.1.zip from recovery I get this error:
assert failed: getprop("ro.bootloader") == "p7100BUKB7"
E:Error in /tmp/update.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted.
I have tried about every single method on these forums and am unable to get this thing back to stock. Any help would be much appreciated. And whomever helps me fix it will be rewarded with some bitcoins

[Q] Samsung GS3 i9305 ROM instalation

Hello,
I am trying to install a rom on my phone but it's not really working out the way I hoped. I got blockworkmod running on my S3 and I tried to install the carbonROM file for my device. This returned the following message after about 20 seconds of installing:
set_metadata_recursive: some changed failed
E: Error in /external_sd/CARBON-KK-NIGHTLY-20141106-1232-i9305.zip
(status 7)
Instalation aborted.
When I tried to install cyanogenmod to the device it didn't do anything, it just imediately returned to the homescreen on clockworkmod.
What can be the problem here and what should I do to be able to use the phone again with any good ROM?
NOTE: I am very new to this stuff, with installing ROMs and rooting my phone.
bump
*coughs*

Help! Micromax unite 2 kkt flashng err! Assert failedwrite_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img")
While flashing a custom rom I received an error message stating assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img", "bootimg")
E:Error executing Updater binary in zip 'file location's
I am using twrp 2.8.1.0 to flash the ROM and I have wiped everything from system to data and cache. I don't have any king of backup thus in short my phone is stuck on recovery only. Even I tried to reboot after this error, but got only black screen. Please help!
