So this is Optima Team's take at the newly released Android L Developer Preview.
As usual @F4uzan is the man behind L7 and me behind L5.
Great work has been done by him, so please thank him for this release!
Please note that this is an ongoing project and not fully complete with all the features

Get the baseband for L5 from here! or from Baseband thread (Thanks to @AXDFREEDOM)

Based on 4.1.2, as far as I understand.
@OP, correct me if I am wrong.
Excellent work, guys. I'm not a big fan of the transparent status bar. But aside from that, this ROM functions very well.
Edit: Opening Apollo from the status bar force closes the app.
Also, there's no (visible) way to turn off cell data.
And what about drivers? Are the original from stock 4.1.2?

If the bootloop is boot animation then going back to LG logo it's normal.

Forget the last thing. Can you make that 'bootloop' dissapears?
I'm using a LG L5 E610. I also think proximity sensor isn't working, I'll test it more.

When i try active navbar with gravity box and then restart phone i have error. Interface has been stopped :/
@skyinfo, while screen is off and I charge my phone the screen comes white and buttons are on and not dissapears disconnecting, but removing the battery.

I'm aware of that, but for obvious reasons it could be more complicated in this ROM, because it has more problems staying off and plugged in.

Proximity works, I can confirm that.

As much as I know CM10 based ROMs offline charging should work but maybe bugs sometimes and you have to remove battery and try again.

It's kernel things. Offline charging works for me.

Yes, it's a quite known issue in several devices. Not every device just to avoid a discussion about it. In other words, a cm/aosp issue.

It should work, if it did on L7, then definitely on L5 too! This is a very stable, and a complete project, so updates won't be there (unless necessary).
I also don't have my L5 now, so can't check it out either..
BTW, stay tuned, new ROMs to hit L5 and L7 soon, proudly brought to you by Optima Team!!

No, it's only for L7..
L7 II has no ROMs so far..
L7 II is good, but not much development so far.. Root and CWM so far..

I think @IGGYVIP would be of better help than me.
I'm guessing the Alcatel has MediaTek? Then there will be even lesser development. Spec wise, L7 II is good, and worth the money in India. I planned getting this for my mom, but that was when Moto G was released and I went for that.
L7 II, I'd go for it. Let's wait till Iggy is on.
After all, its LG, so you can get better customer support.
ROM support as of now is low, but @slipsystem is porting his slimsystem v2.3 to L7 II
However, the guys have made it up to root and CWM recovery
L7 II also has a rumoured KitKat update..

Far away better as far as I am experienced. The best one having been created to date for our phone.
i wonder if @invaderjohn wants to go official with some of these rom or just port as much as he can.

this is not a port, this is an actual rom build.
its as good as an official, the only thing that happens when u go official is that i get my stuff on theire github and such. i still have to be a maintiner so its actually worse to get an official rom.
il se if i find something better about aospa, then perhaps i can try to build it.

Well, this being rather "individual's taste" question. But this ROM is a sort of "all best features in one" so in terms of possible customization it's better. E.g. the circle bar app is awesome by all means. U can change animations, u can use gestures etc. Along with this ROM I am running the Xposed with immersive mod and pie cntrol given by gravity box and it is such a great feel.

But let the graphics question, in terms of performance, stability? For example, cm12 reboots many times on my phone, Is this rom better under this point of view?

I am running this with kool-aid kernel @1.6GHz. The antutu score embedded on Kool-Aid thread - 20,283 points. From my perspective this being most complete and stable ROM I have had. I dont know aboout random reboots or whatever.

he means backup on external drive, wipe everything. Or better using format. All be gone apartt from external sd data.

I have just a bad trouble, in kernel auditor I can't set 1,6 Ghz.. I set it and kernel auditor outputs me 998 mhz why? This is a bad problem guys..

WHAT IS AOSP
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system @Alberto97 added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. He added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area).

Clean Installation
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. Download the appropriate GApps following the links in the second post.
3. Back up any and all important data.
5. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE/DATA/FACTORY RESET.
6. WIPE SYSTEM.
7. Flash the ROM in recovery.
8. Flash the GApps.
9. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
10. Reboot Device.
Dirty Flash/Update
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. WIPE CACHE/DALVIK.
3. Install the update zip from recovery.
4. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
5. Reboot Device.

Probably yes.. You let us know.
What I've noticed is that the camera will give fc the first time.. Let it rest and it'll work nicely!

Back my friend! Dirty flashed and everything has booted just fine. WiFi works, LTE, camera loaded first time with no FC. So far so good my friend. I haven't got the timeservice error

Nice to hear that!
Another bug is when you receive a message and you unlock straight your phone (no password) and the brightness stays low as when you receive a notification with the screen off.. a work around is just to press the power button 2 times and the brightness will return as normal.
The ROM is pretty smooth but we have to fix a "couple" of things..

Dude, I'll be following this thread and future builds religiously! I know it seems a bit excessive to be excited about another build of CM13 but I've used Temaseks work for donkeys years! very nice work my friend.

Installation Instructions
Download and put the ROM zip in your phone.
You must use a SELinux enabled recovery. (CWM 6.0.5.1, TWRP 2.8/3.0). If not install that first and then proceed.
Go to recovery, wipe data/cache. (Yes you will need to do a data wipe even if you are upgrading from CM-13 to incorporate ROM changes).
Flash ROM.
Flash contacts app fix .
(Optional) Flash the overclocked kernel .
(Optional) Flash gapps.
Reboot.
Enjoy.

Google should hire you guys, some high end phone doesn't even support marshmallow but this tiny little backup phone have it.

tried it. yep animations are fine now, interface is beautiful. btw wifi works but it doesnt connect to the internet. theres a tiny exclamation mark in the wifi icon on statusbar

It looks fine to me now, the bug which would happen after using brightness slider does not happen now, and notifications are responsive unlike cm-12.1.

If you didn't know... RIL provides phone and radio services. Which is broken so, sim isn't detected.
