Hi All,
I've been doing ROMs in other devices, but I've been working lately for a new music startup called Yonder Music.
However; something interesting happened with out deal with HTC, they shipped all of the devices with S-OFF.
So these devices come with an unlimited music streaming app also, and S-OFF devices for development. So have fun if you buy one.
Thanks in Advance.

Yonder Music
Yonder Music has the Desire 610, s-off and unlimited music available for $269.
If you don't know, Yonder Music sells prebundled phones with the Yonder App that gives you unlimited streaming.
I couldn't find a 610 forum, so this was the closest one.

Also, still not sure where you're seeing that the phone is S-OFF.
It worked. Nice

I'm an engineer at Yonder Music. And we're shipping the phones s-off.
Updated the main thread with more links
Nice but you should let other android users try the app

It would be nice if your company would create a LITE version or DEMO version of the app that way they could decide if that kind of investment is right for them. I just ordered an HTC Desire 610 from AT&T for $0.00 I just had to renew my 2 year contract. So you should consider making the app widely available for other HTC Android users as a paid app or something of the sort. I wouldnt want to fork over that kind of cash for a phone that is unlocked with a proprietary music app that i may not like. I can unlock my own phone with a click or two I know how to flash my own roms and how to modify kernels also. Please release a trial or something so people will have a chance to try before they buy.
Am I right? XDA members would you like to try before you buy??? I bet so.
Both links are now unavailable, but the amazon listing does in fact say "The HTC Desire 610 from Yonder ships S-OFF to Flash custom ROMs and comes with an easy to unlock bootloader."
I would like to see a screenshot of the bootloader, and I am not sure if even in the right developers hands, having an S-OFF device would help them make a tool to allow everyone to S-OFF?

Hi guys,
I just updated my app, "Screenshot It" to work on a Motorola Atrix (unrooted, too!). Check it out! https://market.android.com/details?id=com.edwardkim.android.screenshotitfull
Worked on my unrooted 4.1.57 Atrix, just had to go into the settings and invert the colors for it to come out right. I used the trial version and I gotta say, $4 for a screenshot app seems high but for unrooted it def works great - nicely done.
sorry m8 but, 4bucks is to expensive for me. one buck is 4.50 in my local money. so 4 usd = 18$, is like if u put your app 18usd in the market for you and people from USA, alot of money for a simple app.

Unless I am misunderstanding what you are saying, that is not how currency conversion works.
I don't know where you are, but $18 doesn't translate back to $18 USD.....it's still 4 bucks.
That being said, yeah it's a bit pricey.

Hahaha this is just what im always complaining about - people with expensive phones and fast internet connections unwilling to pay for our apps.
Wheres the justice? Why do they not understand?
I just had someone explain that theoretical pricing models work best... what worries me is that the guy IS average joe. Millions have google checkout accounts old enough to marry my sister, and still they complain!
Reyour approach.Perhaps we can work together on a universal interpretation for the community. Im kinda in love with XDA and really want to do something for the culture!
Its the bloggers that use our apps, why dont we just give them something nice to write about!

Looks like a well made app, but I also agree the price is a little high for something that my wife's iPhone does for free. Other than posting screenshots on forums I never used the feature. Don't get me wrong I do appreciate the developer's hard work I just think is not competitive for an occasionally use app.

Plus we have a FREE screenshot app here on the forums that works great. Even ShootMe is free and is my favorite, even though it don't work for the Atrix.

Is there a page with a list of people who have XTC clips and would be willing to clip my Aria for me?
I asked around, but I couldn't really find anything solid.

That is only true of the Unrevoked S-OFF Forever software option. S-OFF can be disabled on most HTC devices using a hardware solution.

I downloaded the free version of ROM manager expecting a lot of new neat things. After exploring things such as the free roms, i eventually paid for the app. When i look to download roms from the premium selection there are non to be downloaded. i see the same free roms as before. Im not sure whats going on but i wanted to get the better "paid" roms like cyanogen otherwise i wasted money purchasing the app.

Well, you might have wasted your money for two reasons..
1. There is no official build for Cyanogen on the atrix (meaning it is not supported officially by someone on the Cyanogen team (website)) but we do have a pre-beta build that is supported by quit-a-few developers from XDA. The Atrix Developers Team
2. ROM manager is just "easier" (somewhat) to install ROMS but you can get all the same ROMS listed here on XDA for free just by navigating to the website on your phone, download, then boot into CWM and flash.
I don't believe in buying an app if I can do it myself unless, it offers some very useful tools.
I believe the only thing that the paid version gets you - is the ability to initiate backups from the app itself and to install/update the superuser.apk. There may be one or two other things im forgetting - as far as ROMS - there are no "paid" ROMS.... at least none I know of.... including CyanogenMod
then i must say i feel like i want to pursue a refund from my carrier. i didnt get anything from buying the app, so i must have gotten ripped off.

so was at bestbuy today and the manager had an amaze.asked if he had rooted it or no and he said no. what surprised me is that he said he was able to get rid of tmobile preinstalled apps just by calling tmobile guys and they simply remove them...anybody tried?

He was probably blowing smoke up your ass. T-Mobile doesn't customize ROMs on a per-person basis. And there is now way to otherwise remove apps without root.
Hah what a lie
yeah thats what i thought, sounded too good to be true
Haha, another example of Best Buys tomfoolery.

I work at a Walmart "front-of-store" Wireless, I've rooted a Captivate, Droid X, G2, Vibrant, Sensation, Inspire, Infuse, Atrix, and probably others that I've forgetting, It's worth mentioning that most people I work with don't know what I've done with those phones or how to do it. I'm guessing that's the case with these best buy people.

Did I miss how to do this somewhere? How?
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G
You didnt miss anything... the ONLY way to remove Tmo bloat is by using the HTCDEV.com bootloader unlock and unlocking your bootloader. Then you must permaroot your phone. Only then will you have adequate permissions to allow you to remove the bloatware from your phone. There is NO OTHER WAY AROUND IT currently.
Thanks, that's what I thought.
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G
I, being a t-mobile employee must tell you that the manager at best buy is bluffing. Just like users above have posted, you must root the device first prior to even having permission to remove the bloatware.

Since most HTC phones have updated to ICS (ice cream sandwich) all of your old skins will not work anymore
These Sense 3.6 skins will do nicely to give your phone a new look!

I'm pretty sure using XDA to promote your paid apps is against the rules here. Knowing how the users are in the rezound forums, be prepared to be called out

I'm just saying, because your 'new skins' link leads only to paid apps....I'm just a strong believer in open source and contributing to the community..I understand the money aspect, believe me I've gotten some nice payouts from my Google merchant account too..but I've also posted my apps for free download on various forums with the option to purchase via play, to contribute to the community...track the number of free downloads compared to clicks for the paid version, when both are available, you may be surprised...
Yup done that.
.
It's all good. I may have overdone it a bit with the intro. My other threads have tons of info, both versions posted, tutorials, feedback, support, etc.....
If a mod wants me to remove or modify I will

Love the themes OP! I installed a couple. When you tap the volume keys the volume display doesn't come up. the first time I tapped the volume keys I got a Htc sense closed message. I am running latest Sense 3.6 rooted global rom. I really like the black clock skins and look forward to future enhancements.
