[Q] Best earbuds for ~50$? - G3 Accessories

I'm looking to get my gf a set of good earbuds for her g3 since the US versions didn't come with any in the box.
What are your recommendations? Willing to shell out a little more if there is something amazing just out of that price range. She won't be using an amp.
Thanks

Klipsch Image S4A imo, have not been disappointed

Decent BT headphones

Hey all, I'm looking for a decent pair of BT headphones. After doing some research it seems the old Moto S9s and s9-HDs are still the way to go for the cash they can be had? Can anyone enlighten me a little further on a decent pair or your own person experiences?
i bought the S10-HD and they where great, the sound was amazing for the price, but the battery life will always be the issue. if you wont use them for more than 6-8 hours get the S-10HD. make sure even if you get the S9 that its the HD option.. very important.
last thing of note, they are a little uncomfortable for some people, pull them apart to stretch them out

I have had the S-9 and S-10s, the s-9s are superior. Go for them, no doubt.
I'm still rockin' my Jabra BT 620S pair from like 2007-2008, works fine and battery life is not an issue. Quality is pretty good, but no noise cancellation and wish it was a bit louder. I'll upgrade when these die
I love these HP headphones: http://www.frys.com/product/5656521
When I bought them they were the only full sized over the ear headphones. They also have decent noise cancelling. I need some BASS and the smaller ones are no better then earbuds. If you look around you can probably find them cheaper then $70, I think mine were like $55.
Motorolla Rokr. Awesome sound excellent controls and battery life...plus they are frikin waterproof.

Motorola S9-HD is the best that I have found. You have to turn off SRS to get decent sound. I had Jaybird JF3 also. They had too much high frequency distortion. Cymbals sounded weird for example. The S9 has good battery life. ~$50 on Amazon. Poor outdoor reception, great indoors though.

Thank you everyone. I have thanked you all.
I ended up buying some new wired Sennheiser/Adidas CX680i earbuds yesterday to get great sound quality plus mic and button for making calls. They are impressive. I also used headset button controller app to reassign multiple clicks of the one working button to track skip, volume, etc.
Unfortunately most wired sets are designed to have the skip buttons work for only ipod. The Sennheiser therefore has one of three buttons that work, but the app is a good workaround.
I was happy to find out that DSP Manager app works without root on android 2.3. I setup the bluetooth and headset profiles to use bass boost and custom equalizer.

I use the jawbone era. Kind of expensive but the sound quality and noise cancellation is excellent. It has online updating and a2dp

I got the Sony Ericsson MW600 for $54 shipped from amazon. these work great for watching movies and talking on the phone. Batteries last at least 10 hours. I recommend these!
Nokia bh-905i. Perfect in all ways. Battery design sound bass controls ect.

I'm very interested in purchasing the MW600's, and was wondering if you can confirm that they work for controlling Google Music and/or BeyondPod. I assume from your post that's there is no problem with controlling phone calls. I've previously run into problems where I've purchased headphones that are not compatible with a particular phone, and I'd love to avoid that this time around Unfortunately neither Sony Ericsson nor HTC would confirm compatibility for me. Any insight anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
I've had the sony s9 and they were great, but awkward to fit in a pocket.
I just picked up the bluedio one from ebay for about $18 and it's wicked!!!
It's a tiny HSP/HFP mono earpiece with a magnetic connector to connect the second earbud (which seems to activate A2DP stereo bt profile. Things are TINY!!! but great audio quality and great battery life!
My ONLY complaint so far is that it's a non-standard barrel connector charger... wish it was micro usb.
Bluedio stereo... check it out on ebay!

Need a bluetooth headset, music, stealthly. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a bluetooth headset. Needs to be less noticeable then a standard bluetooth and play music. Basically where I work we aren't allowed to have a radio but it's boring factory work and I find I'd be completely safe using a bluetooth speaker in one ear as long as it was small and not instantly noticed. I don't need a mic either as it won't be for calls.
MJC
Years ago I used a Jabra BT8010 for this until it quit working. It had great battery life and, when used for music in mono-mode, people assumed it was big only because of the Caller ID display.
Thanks. But that would be noticed right away in my ear. I found a few smaller bluetooth earbud types on ebay but they say they won't play music.
MJC
Maybe I'm ahead of technology lol. There's gotta be a smaller single earbud out there. Just need to be able to play music and rechargeable.

Of course, but it would not be noticed as something you are listening to music and podcasts on.
A2DP would run a typical small headset's battery dead in a few hours so, yes, you are ahead of technology. When I did security I always wanted one of those Sena kits to connect my phone and 2-way security radio to an A2DP headset but I'd still want an all-day battery.
Well lg tone plus I'm at work put it under my collar and run it over my ear

Go with the Plantronics M165 or M155. The M165 is the newer model and has a little longer battery life and I believe its BT 4.0. It's hands down the smallest and best quality BT headset I've had. You should be able to find o Amazon for around $50 or less. The sound quality is amazing, its lightweight and has a real on/off switch and there are voice prompts. An updated model should be out soon. The only feature missing is NFC pairing, not sure it would make a big difference as the sound quality, ease of pairing and controls are all straightforward. It also pairs with multiple devices. I'm currently using mine with a Note 3 and Galaxy S3 with no issues.
sony SBH50. i can use my favorite pair of earbuds ( I use YURBUDS) or connect to car/home stereo via 3.5mm plug. it has a caller ID display and media controls and gets 10-10.5 hours of calls and streaming daily with the bluetooth 3.0.

I just got these in the mail today. So far they sounds really good while using Viper4Android.
The earpieces are a little big, but they are pretty light. The stabilizers do a pretty good job of holding them in your ear. I'll give a more detailed review as I use them.
LG Tone+ HBS-730, because it has APTX support, and the Note 3 does support that as well. Much better sound, CD quality over Bluetooth.
And they look great, very light weight. I bought them here :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-Tone-Plu...uetooth_Wireless_Products&hash=item1c3a4ca34d
I ended up getting LG-Tone+ 700. They've been great. Paired with the phone perfectly and for the Sound, it's pretty Close to wired. I don't get any Kind of Signal loss. I'm planning to replace the rubber earpieces with comply's. I have them for my wired headphones and I love them.

After-market earbuds for Note 3

Anyone using after-market earbuds with their Note 3? Preferably one with volume control. I am looking for one to replace the stock Samsung earbuds. So far I have researched the:
1. Klipsch S4A ii (but I've heard the volume controls don't work on our Note 3)
2. a-Jays Five (not easy to find)
I'm using the old Apple ones, as I can't have those torturous in-ear plugs in for more than 10 seconds without developing a massive migraine. (an issue most women suffer from, but they only sell those torture devices these days.. Or earbuds the size of a fist.)
The mic and clicker work, the volume controls don't.

They go deep into your ear canal so you get great noise isolation. They are not for everyone though as some of the tips are uncomfortable. I got the custom ear molds done so now I have a perfect comfy fit though. They arenot bass heavy because they are suppose to output a flat sound without modifying the signal. That being said if you get Viper4Android you can pretty much make it sound however you like including head thumping bass Ala beats.
I've been very impressed with SoundMAGIC E10 Earphones. Sounds soooo much better than the stock headphones and at a reasonable price.

I had a pair of the Klipsch's, you're right the vol controls don't, it seems they only work on the iPhones. The Sound is AMAZING, but for me, I can't keep them in, they don't fit right and when they become loose or loose the seal, the sound quality goes WAY down. I don't have issues with most other bud styles though

[Q] Best Bluetooth Headphones/Headset (In The Ear Type) For NEXUS 6

As the name says which is the best Bluetooth Headphone/Headset (In The Ear Type) for NEXUS 6
purpose- Taking calls, listening music both casual and during workouts.
Considering the uncertainty in absence of aptX in NEXUS 6 it's hard to choose which does the job best.
These are some recommendations given to me
1. Motorola S11-Flex HD Wireless Stereo Bluetooth Headset
2. LG Electronics Tone Pro Bluetooth Stereo Headset
3. Jabra SPORT+ Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headphones
4. Jaybird Freedom Sprint Bluetooth Headphones
please do share your suggestions, recommendations, reviews
Thank You.
I just picked up the jaybird bluebud x's. I love em.

I also vote for the Jaybird bluebuds x. I've been using them for a year and they're phenomenal!

Bluebud X is the only great option white ones are on sale at Best Buy for $130 I think.
Another for jaybird X, excellent product.
ive got the powerbeats wireless and they have great sound and dont fall out of your ears
While not technically in the ear, I have Aftershockz Bluez which actually work really well. The bass is better than in most bud-type headphones, they are comfortable for me to wear for long periods of time, and they leave your ear open so you can still hear things going on around you such as traffic if you run or cycle. The are fantastic particularly if you plan on using your headphones for exercising. They also have a mic so they can be used for making calls.
Bluebud X for awesome sound... You may need to duct tape them to your ears.
Jaybird Bluebud X here. Best sound for the dollar in my opinion.

Lg tone plus. I had the pro but the volume is lower than the plus. I have the ultra it doesnt work as adverstised
I hated the Moto S-11 HD Flex. Definitely not waterproof... Or sweat proof.
I have multiple
I have
LG Tone Pro
Bluetooth Sol Republic tracks
Jaybird freedom sprint
Tone pro are good for voice calls and daily wear and driving
Freedom sprint are good for running and at gym although after prolonged use they hurt my ears . these are not recommended for driving or for everyday use as they have poor ability to only have one in your ear at a time.
Sol Republic over the ear Bluetooth are not what you asked about but I love them.. So much better than the wireless beats I used to have and cheaper
As for tone pro vs tone plus. Tone pro has aptx and I don't think tone plus does

Jaybird Bluebuds X...just make sure you try the different tips and use the 'wings' to get a good secure fit.
My girlfriend has the bluebuds X and I have the tone pro's and we love them respectively. I do like that hers stay in your ears no matter what you are doing, but I love the features and google now integration of the tone pro's. 10+ hours of audio streaming is awesome on both.
Also, forgot to mention, the tone pro's are quieter than the tone+, but if you are using viper audio, you can definitely defeat that and raise the volume to almost ear shattering levels.
LG Tones either 700's or 730's. i LOVE them. I own both for a couple years on the 700s. They work really good with the N6. I get really good sound and I recently switched to memory foam earbuds and the sound is even better and now they never slide out at the gym. I use them 6-7 days a week for hours on end. best $40 spent on headphones! i gift them to friends and recommend them to everyone, so much I should profit from LG!

Which ear plugs do you like / recommend ?

Looking for suggestions of ear plugs / headphone to use with our S7's ? Microphone is not needed but just a way to silently listen to a program without speakers
DAC supported type C Headphone / 3.5 mm Dongle ? Or wireless via Bluetooth ?
Are all these dongle adapters compatible, like this one :

I couldn't say, that's the best one's for the tablet, but there are not bad....I can only make a compare with Dr Beat. On the tablet the ear buds live are better. Use the ear buds on a sony mobile, I received broken connection. Here the Dr.Beast are better. From sound the ear buds are better..but the Dr.Beast are louder without jitter, clipping ....
I've had these for a year and a half now and I love them. I use them with my phone and my Tab S7+.

If using bt go with the Buds+ or higher to take advantage of the SCC codec.
Or use a headset that supports LDAC.
For music listening though I heavily custom alter their sound profile with Poweramp's graphic equalizer.
