Anyone having issues uploading UHD or FHD video? No matter where i upload, dropbox, Verizon cloud, box...i only get half the video to show on play back. It splits it right down the middle..very weird. I then changed to standard HD and the upload works fine.
I haven't had any issues. Uploaded to Google cloud and Facebook without issue.

I got my ATT Note the other day and I've noticed that when playing any youtube video (either HQ or standard def on wifi or network) that the video plays normal then speeds up for a sec then back to normal. It's especially worse at the beginning of the video. The audio stays fine, its like the video lags behind the audio and the video speeds up for a sec to catch up.. The status bar shows the video is loading way faster than the video is playing and even pausing it until its downloaded completely doesnt resolve this.
Anyone else have this issue or?
Yeah I have the same problem with HD content on YouTube. Perfect example for me is the LMFAO video Sexy and I know it.
Don't judge I think the video is funny

At least I know it's just not my phone. I haven't tried it with that particular video, but I will take your word for it. (The song is bad enough lol)
I have noticed the same problem. But when I watch YouTube on the full desktop site in the browser using Flash, it is butter smooth. Even in 720p HD.

I noticed it as well. Quite annoying. I was starting to think it was just me nit picking.

Have you tried clearing the data and cache under settings/apps? Works for many apps having similar "odd" issues with behavior.
I think ever since the update the YouTube app has just been so buggy...HQ videos barely want to load anymore

Same thing for me, I actually play youtube videos through dolphin HD browser and 720p and 1080p play perfectly. There is an issue with the youtube app and I am hoping it will be resolved with it's next update.
I hope so, it's kinda embarrassing to show someone this amazing device and to have the video act like it does..
I apologize in advance for this one...
Video's created on my EVO LTE and uploaded to Google Plus play fine for most people, but they won't play on my sister's laptop!
When she is logged into her G+ account and clicks on any video's I have uploaded from my EVO, a new window opens and displays only the first frame. Clearly, her laptop is interpreting the video as a photo.
I thought the issue must be with her laptop, because others have been able to play my videos. However, as a test, I uploaded a short video created with my web cam, and she can stream that just fine.
So apparently this is an issue between the EVO's videos and her laptop. My first thought was that some codec is not installed on her laptop, but Google converts any uploaded videos anyway.
Youtube videos play fine on her laptop.
The same exact thing is happening with my mom's Kindle fire, but I'll troubleshoot that separately I guess.
Btw, I tried several Google searches. apparently only my sister and mom are having this issue!
Anybody aware of a forum for G+ streaming video issues?

I never tried to see my videos on G yet. I'll try it out see what happens

Hi,
I recently shot a video using my Motorola Atrix running CM7.2, and for some reason it won't play. All my other videos shot before and after this one play fine. I would really like to see this video, it is very important to me!
Any idea's? I would pay someone a few bucks if they could get this video off the phone for me in a playable format (I could dropbox it to you).
Thanks,
Adam
More Info please.
Try transferring the video to your PC and use VLC or other good player with a lot of codec and see if it opens.
Does that video have significant size like atlease 2 or 3 MB atleast if its a zerobyte file then obviously it wont play.
You can capture frames in video with sony vegas if later frames are corrput you can crop them.
I have the ATRIX 2 MB865... can't be much different from yours. I also have a ME860 as well, and I could test on that as another option.

I'm trying to figure out how to repost my IG vids that didn't upload properly. I have an issue with IG that uploads my video as a picture only uploading one single frame as a Photo.

hii.. is there any answer for this ? I was trying to upload a video but instagram was crashed when i want to upload it and my video was gone. Is there any way to recover the video?
All I have found is older threads on the subject.
Currently running TeamVenom Viper 1.60 ROM.
Out of the box, the phone still has the issue.
Which is...
Difficulty playing videos on drop box that camera uploaded.
They will open the player and start to stream but won't playback like they should.
No problems doing this (over wifi or LTE) on iOS 7.1.1 or 4.4 KK on other devices.
Plenty of speed both on wifi and LTE so that's not the problem.
Any solution to this?
I've tried a variety of video players but all have the same issue.

Try downloading MX player from the market https://play.google.com/store/search?q=mx player&hl=en
and choosing that as the default player when playing videos from drop box
Update 2:-FYI drop box videos that were uploaded from my phone play fine for me in drop box
Update 3 lol: smaller videos play fine for me such as Zoes but i just tried playing a little larger video file and i got a connection timed out to server..
Update 4: Ive played 6 other videos in my drop box camera uploaded folder some over 1 gig some around 250mb and some around 650mb and they played for me..They are .mp4 video files

Thanks, tried that player a while ago.
Same issue.
Really weird because S4/S5 devices, both stock and rooted, don't have this issue.
Yeah, besides that one time of a connection time out to server I've been able to view videos from drop box on my Stock M8

Sorry to necro an older thread, but found out something of interest over the holiday weekend...
I believe this may be a Sense related issue.
I have a Note 3 that plays back videos on dropbox without an issue at all. Typically takes a few seconds, sometimes even less to start playing with no pausing, etc. It's a T-Mobile unlocked to ATT and is running Jovy's Darthstalker V7.
On a stock M8 as well as custom rom (Team Venom which is pretty much the best rom for this device) has the issue unfortunately.
