no one here using moto e mobile?
There is no way u can get that option back. All u have to do is dial any other number or use speed dial once and it will come back again.

which dialer do you suggest for the x10 mini?
I have a further question: if during a call I press the right key (the one with the arrow) the phone enters the menu...how do I end the call then??
thanks
Best dialer would be ( personally ) SuperDial ( on the patched market )
Take a look at the screenshot
You can end the call only after the screen comes back!!!

Super dialer was my default in my old phone (DSTL1), on my X10 it doesnt looks good so i switched to aTakephone.. it works well.
if you goes to the menu screen or any other screen from active call, pull down ur notification bar from top and you can switch to the active call from there, then you can end call from your side.
swItched to atakephone , its neat

Is there any way to set speed dial for this phone? search by can't find it
You could:
1. Add a contact to your favorites
2. Put a shortcut to "Call Direct" that contact right on a home screen
If you want the dialer to have an option like "long press #2 to dial a person" then you might need to use a different dialer.
Ok. But somenone tells me that is possible to have speed dial with a long press on a dial number (3 for example), and configuring the name of the contact taht you want to call. But that does not work for me...
No. You just can add Favorite People on the homescreen. This option miss for me. HTC have the best Call Options.
I don't really mind having no speed dial, I haven't used it much on my previous phone anyway.
With, I don't know what you call it, when typing the numbers corresponding to letters, the contacts get displayed (I think HTC called it smart dial a long time ago), and the call history right there I find I'm not using speed dials at all.
I'm not a heavy call user though...
Speed dial is not available on Android 2.3.x. It will be on ICS
You should use another dialer. I recommend DW Dialer (& DW Contact)
On home screen, add a shortcut to your contact number. Then just press it to dial.

Thanks! While I wait for ICS , I'l use the favorites.
One alternative option until ICS arrives:
Try swipepad and add the options to directly call to these contacts.
Then you can, with a single movement, even without needing to open the Phone application, call them.
I just discover the application. Not sure regarding performance impacts but the usability it gives is great.
It does have speed dial. Just long press a number then set it up.
xperia
when i upgrade my room, speed dial was disapper :| I use KA sspeed
HI !
Imma try my best to explain what i need here, Apologize for any confusion
What i want uhm... a fast dialing way (numbers or CONTACTS) (NOT SPEED DIAL)
For example
I have to hit the green-phone button > contacts > choose a name > then call that contact" 4 Touches HERE
Is there a SHORTER way to like Go in contact > as soon as you click on any contact it will dial immediately (2 Touches Here)
My previous phone had the green button next to the contact so if i want i just hit the green button to make a call a little faster on that specified contact
In gingerbread, you can go into contacts and just swipe right to call or swipe left to msg! Its that simple

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to make the recent calls your default screen when you press the phone button. Mine always starts at the keypad even when I change the order in the edit tabs menu. Is the keypad default no matter what?
Anybody??
I do not believe this is possible without switching to an alternative dialer app.

Hello!
Before Huawei I was a long time Galaxy user, and one feature that I really miss is the ability to be able to answer or reject calls from a call banner at the top of the screen, wich is very convenient when I have an app opened.
Can this be enabled on the mate 10 pro?
+1

Hi! This feature is already present in Huawei devices. If you get any call while you are in full screen app(like games), call will come as a pop up.

If you get call when the device is unlocked, screen shows 2 buttons to answer or decline the call. If the device is locked you have to swipe to answer.
Run any full screen app in landscape, call come as popup notification (Not full screen call UI).

I repeat...I don't get the pop-up call, only the full screen call UI. Doesn't matter if I watch a YouTube video or play a game in landscape mode.

Check your settings, it should work by default, not as classic pop-up but banner on top of the screen.
