1. Coming from another ROM?
2. Download the zip(s).
3. Install a compatible Recovery (CWM, TWRP)
4. Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
5. Wipe data, cache, dalvik-cache and system partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
6. Flash AOKP.

com.android.phone is crashing at boot - [PROVISIONAL FIX] just leave the phone 25 seconds and do not touch it, then click ok on the popup and it won't appear anymore. Now go to settings and add a new working APN -> no more crashes at boot :laugh: (I am working to fix it permanently)

This is the rom I was waiting for... Thank you for the build.
So I guess the phone app crashes are solved.
Do you already have the checkin regarding the disk encryption metadata, or did you build before that?
Well it's 3:20am where I live so I guess I will sleep first, but I already know what I will be doing when I wake up.

I think if you remove qcrilhook.jar and qcnvitems.jar from vendor blobs, there you have your permanent fix for com.android.phone FC's
BTW, nice to see AOKP rom for bacon

I know it's very early and I'm sure those things will come eventually, but the biggest problem I had with it was, that there were no device specific options.
No way to turn of the capacitive buttons completely, when using onscreen buttons.
I think no dt2w option aswell and a few others.
But besides the already mentioned phone app crashing bug and a few device specific things missing it was as great as aokp always is.

Ah, I may hold off until that gets implemented then, as that is one of the special features of this phone that I love the most. I love all of the device specific tricks it does.

hey should not miss out on a good rom for something you can remedy yourself... Place the script in your init.d folder and you will have dt2w its fast and simple...
