Hi Friends,
I got a problem. In the CyanogenMod I have an Offset on the bottom of the screen (2mm) when I hold the softbuttons in my right hand. This problem occured in the official builds of CM and in the FXP - buils, including the latest, too. This bug is really annoying (especially while writing).
Do you have any idea?
Hi, i have this problem too in FXP054, exactly on left side of screen. I noticed another 2 problems:
1) Czech keyboard is QWERTZ not QWERTY!
2) CArrier network data should be turned off after firts installation, it has eaten me half of my credit!
I'm much new, so posted here.
Do you have the problem also when you got the screen in horizontal mode? It's very complicated to hit the buttton for changing the layout to numbers or to make a dot.
Have you tried other builds?
Which model do you own?
I own ST15i, Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RCO FXP054. But the offset was in nightly 20 too.
The problem is only in horizontal mode i think (only in 90°). Hitting space when writing is my nightmare!
Did you report the bug via bugtracker?
Sent from my ST15 using XDA App
Can anybody help us?
Ok, I found out something:
The bug isn't present in any other orientation than the horizontal mode (softbuttons pointing to the right)
In Multitouch, when I keep another point pressed, also not present.
I already tryed screen recalibration and everything. Please anybody help me.
Update:
The bug is sadly still present in FXP103 CM7.2 - I tried everything that I could imagine.
CM9 is still very unstable, but from what I tested, the bug didn't occure there.
Please, expirienced members: help me!!
Hi all!
I've been using this great ROM by MaxWorks, however, after updating to the latest version 2.8.31 I've had a single issue.
The issue occurs when I receive a call, and the phone is in my pocket or covered by something (covering the proximity sensor); the ringtone does stutter until I get the phone out of my pocket or get the something off the proximity sensor, and the screen lights on, then the ringtone sounds normally without stuttering.
I've tried wiping the system, the cache, dalvik cache, and flashing Super Stock Kernel and Suave's Kernel then reinstalling the ROM after each kernel flash.
There's also another issue with the proximity sensor that happens sometimes while using the phone. The issue occurs when I'm trying to slide down the status bar, the screen turns off because my finger gets in the way of the proximity sensor, and then turns on again when my finger gets out of the proximity sensor's way.
Any suggestions to resolve this issue, I'd be happy.
Thanks all!
Me also facing the same problem sometimes... 'm using MIUIv4 (ICS) EN 2.8.31 NeoV/Neo by ZduneX25...!
Hope they will fix it soooon..!
Sorry for the misuse of my wording
It's the Proximity Sensor which locks the screen and causes these problems, not the light sensor
I'll try to roll back and reinstall the 2.8.24 until 2.9.7 gets released today
I had done a clean install of 2.8.24 and have tested the proximity sensor, and there had been no issues. Then I've done another clean install of 2.8.31, and the stuttering ringtones are almost gone, but I'm quite unsure yet. Wanna test it for a longer time. However, the proximity sensor issue when gets hovered by my finger isn't gone yet.
So I think it's a generic bug in MIUIv4 v2.8.31, and neither belongs to Max nor Zdune's ports, as you can see in the following quote.
Hey guys,
I'm facing erratic proximity sensor behaviour in the latest 2.8.31 rom.
When i wake my phone using home button, the proximity sensor kicks in for 3 to 5 seconds. When i hocer my hand near the sensor, the screen switches off and comes back when i move it away. Anyone facing this issue?

Thread title: Samsung Galaxy SII - Bugs in the latest rom (2.8.17)
Also many users have been complaining about the same issue inside this thread
and the developer, sandy, has uploaded some sensors lib fixes to resolve the issue
It seems the issues are totally resolved and gone in the 2.9.7 release.
Unfortunately, there is an issue in MaxWorks's Rom as the ringtone does not get repeated. It is played once only, and I tried Zdune's, and it's not there.
Therefore, I PMed Max as I can't reply into his thread, and I hope he'd get it resolved sooner.
Hey guys,
Found a bug on CM10 Beta 1 by Ivendor for Samsung i9001. when tilting from portrait to landscape in text messaging half the keyboard turns black. Is there somewhere i can post this so that the people who can address it can see it? Or should i just try the dev forum for that rom?
I would start off by sending a private message to Ivendor?

Can you get this bug all of the times when you turn your phone or just 1 time? I've never met this type of bug since I tried this ROM with Nexus kernel.
I did send Ivendor a PM but he must have missed/ignored it as the issue was not fixed in CM10 Beta 2.
The issue will not be there when you first tilt the phone after a reboot but do it a second time and there she blows.
Sadly this is the best ROM out there for i9001. I tried SlimBean and it has a horrible battery drain. EHNDROIX II looks and moves awesome but it keeps the phone awake at times which makes for another battery drainer and, iGO Primo runs horribly on this one... sound is ok but the screen stutters like crazy.
I've read it from the MIUI Forums. Does this version really fix the touch response? If so, how can you rate it?
Yeah, so no more touch delays, touch not registering, PUBG aiming bug, screen freezes, screen flickers, and this is coming from a user that faced these issues about 2 months.
Now they only need to fix those multi touches/ghost touches and it'll be perfect as it's still there
So I guess not all is experiencing the issues you mentioned? I had the edge back gesture not working well before and the flicker, but I never experienced any ghost touch or input lags.
not everyone got all issues.... i only got touch latency which is fixed 90% what i can see now..... but they need to fix it further to make its smoother......
but somehow aiming in PUBG in 8.12.13 doesn't feel smooth and snappy 8.12.7/8.12.10.
Now they just need to fix multi touch and ghost touch. This happens when I use 2 touches and swiped them so hard.
Ghost touches always happen below the notch area and the navigation bar area
Just got the open beta 8.12.13 OTA, following are the observation :-
1) Keyboard lag is minimized.
2) Scrolling near edges is improved but still buggy near bezels.
3) YouTube picture-in-picture mode doesn't work in full screen gesture mode in poco launcher home screen.
4) Screen flickering in lock screen is gone but further need to be tested.
4) Icon refresh is still there when minimizing any app.
5) Back gesture now works properly when any app folder on home screen is open.
6) Tuch delay of back button of navigation Bar is gone.
7) Touch sensitive of screen is bit improved.
8) Something flower like icon is added in left bottom of lockscreen.
9) Notification icon is same it was in previous beta.
so far no ghost touch on my poco 8.12.13 eu

Dam. Now, I've to flash back MeMeUI again to test it. I'm happy using LOS16. I'm sure I'll regret flashing MeMeUI cause of the crappy cartoonist UI but if that fix the issues, that's more important for me right now.

Merging firmware into the ROM can fix sometimes. You can wait a little the LOS genius devs to take advantage the newer firmware/vendor files.
No, they still haven't fixed the bottom area latency. It's the same as it was for a couple of weeks.
For me the touch has got worse. I didn't have any touch issues on all stable ROMs I ran till this first stable Pie/Oreo rom. I say first Pie/Oreo ROM as it's the first stable Pie ROM but still using lib library from Oreo. I'm noticing that I'm making more mistakes typing than I was before so I feel it's over sensitive now

The Poco team said it themselves that they couldn't fix the touch in the latest stable release yet so it's probably the same firmware as in the earlier builds. Shouldn't feel any different.

I don't believe them at all. As I said I wasn't suffering from any touch issues and this latest stable ROM has made my touch worse
For those who get worse in the update, make sure you do a clean wipe before flashing.
I found that after doing a clean update,my touch is better. (Not sure if it is really working but installing Magisk also kind of making my phone smoother)
But for sure the touch latency is improved.
For ghost touch,i test with multitouch tester,no more.but in pubg there is still ghost touch (my character shoot randomly when my thump near the shoot button). However, can fix by separate the buttons a bit far from each other. Then, reduce the in game camera about -5 to -10 for each categories.i found the game is more playable that way.My guess is that somehow the phone screen sensitivity is high.
For me, as a regular user, I can say that the touch is worse than 8.12.10.
When I say worse, I refer to the up / down scrolling through pages / facebook / etc.
Other than that, I don't seem to have any issues
Xiaomi roll out a new version of MIUI 11 to Redmi 9 (Global version)

Already installed everything is good
any other improvement apart from those mentioned?
when you use the back button sometimes delay processing than clicking the link.
also the dark mode gkeyboard keeps refreshing or have the horizontal line blinking. Try to make your keyboard bigger/larger you will see it.
Gkeyboard sometimes causing delay and lag when scrolling and typing.
i dont know if this is only me.
