i was trying to flash a different rom onto my tab and it got stuck in bootloop. I tried to boot into recovery mode and it just says downloading forever. I originally used goo manager and I don't think it is supported anymore, not sure if that caused it. I was trying to fix it with adb by connecting it to my laptop, but it wont recognize my device and I cant get into it to change any settings. fixable? thanks
update: I got it connected to adb. how do I reset it? while saving or backing up data, if possible

Hello Guys,
I know that there are many threads regarding boot loop etc...
In the end I don't care if I get my S2 working again or not,
but I NEED the files on my internal storage!
I have a Mac and a PC, both with ADB installed,
but no matter if I'm in recovery, or Odin Download Mode,
I can not access my device via ADB.
Is there anything I missed out,
or is it just not possible at all,
and the only thing I can do is wiping it?
Many thanks in advance...

Maybe I should add:
I already checked the Device Manager of my PC, and it DOESNT show up,
so the regular guide for accessing it during recovery mode doesnt work...
Hi everybody,
I have a Galaxy SIII with a cyanogenmod rom installed. Today when I tried to boot my phone it stayed on the Samsung logo screen.
When I entered the recovery mode I tried to mount the efs but it wouldn't work. So i tried factory reset and all that but it still wouldn' work.
I tried connecting it to my pc but windows can't recognize the phone. I tried reinstalling the drivers but that doesn't work either.
I even tried using adb but it wont recognize my phone.
I think i tried almost everything. I really need help
Thankss
Boot into download mode and try to connect, if okay then flash a full stock firmware.
If it still won't connect then probably the emmc chip is blown, new motherboard required.

Hi, I'm very new into the smart phone world and in quite a predicament.
I tried to install CM11 from stock ROM via TWRP.(Installed via Autorec)
Reboot to recovery then wiped Dalvik Cache, Data, Cache then install "cm-11-20140509-NIGHTLY-vs980.zip" with successful result.
After reboot the LG logo appeared then black screen, and LG logo again in the boot loop.
Being the thoughtful and intelligent young man that I am, I didn't make a recovery before hand. It won't enter download mode, only recovery mode. My PC won't recognize it either, even when trying to sideload in TWRP. I've been googling and trying things for over 4 hours now. Hopefully someone here will be able to figure it out.
Much thanks, Z
Somthing I just now noticed, when I plug it into my PC it recognizes something being plugged in, tries to install drivers and fails. I was fairly confident I had all of the necessary drivers but I will re-download them.
-Updating the drivers did nothing, the PC still won't recognise my phone.
I tried flashing CWM recovery onto my AT&T Galaxy S4 and because my phone does not connect to my computer via USB for some reason (the phone charges and my computer recognizes that there's a device in, but I cannot actually do anything with it) I flashed it with Flashify. I rebooted into recovery mode, and I got slapped with the "Unauthorized software has been detected on your phone!" message. So I tried rebooting, and I got stuck in a recovery mode bootloop with the same message. Eventually, I realized if I just go into download mode and reboot by pressing the volume down key, it doesn't try to go into recovery mode. I have already endlessly researched my USB problem, and yes, I DO have USB debugging on. ODIN recognizes that I have an external device in as well, but I haven't tried flashing anything onto my phone with it because I don't want to brick my phone because the connection to my PC is faulty. I'm using the charger that came with the device as my USB drive, so that's not faulty either. I know rooting my phone did this, and I'm pretty sure it's because I missed a step. I used this tutorial to root my phone:
[droid views dot com] /root-att-galaxy-s4-sgh-i337-android-4-4-4-kitkat-firmware-i337ucufnj4/ (I'm not allowed to post links yet, so fix the URL if you're gonna have a look)
When I flashed the I337_NC1_Stock_Kernel, my phone refused to go into download mode and I couldn't flash the I337_NJ4_Stock_Kernel as a result. I'm pretty sure that's what caused it, but I have no idea how to fix it. I'm not an expert with my phone and, despite almost soft-bricking my phone via a corrupt CWM .zip, I'm not a newbie at this either. If I could figure out how to fix this problem, I wouldn't have to worry about throwing myself into a bootloop because I can just use ODIN. I was a sitting duck before download mode rescued me, so I'd like some help as to how I can accomplish this. Any and all help is appreciated. I am 100% certain my device is the right version for that tutorial, I wouldn't try to root my phone without checking all of the simple things first.
So I have Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Plus for only two weeks, and after installing Chainfire3D my phone got stuck in a bootloop.. so I have no ADB update, no sdcard update and no cache update.. so I have been left with factory reset but it didn't work.. I also don't have CWM or TWRP recovery, but USB debugging for me is on.. I am sure I have all drivers for USB installed because before I messed up my phone I had to connect it to my pc, plus I have manually downloaded proper drivers.. I have tried with ADB shell but it won't detect my phone, otherwise I could already fix my problem.. Doogee Valencia2 Y100 Plus doesn't seem to have a firmware online, so I couldn't re-flash it. Help, help.. surely I will never download Chainfire3D ever again..
