whenever I tried to install nova 3 it just keep checking and verifying files and when i exit it the obb file get deleated by itself plz can anyone help me to install it...
same here :'(
Edit: I found a solution, you need to have a patch file (about 300MB) for the game (placed in the same folder as obb) and the patch version should be the same as the apk you're using. The obb version doesnt matter (I used 1.0.5 if you're wondering)

Hello everyone!
A few years ago I did an unofficial translation for this game on PC.
Recently I bought a tablet and thought about porting my translation to Android since the game engine works pretty much in the same way.
But it seems that the game checks the OBB file fingerprint and doesn't allow any changes to it, so I'm opening this thread to ask for some help/guidance related to OBB file repacking and also the OBB check.
I know that the packing of OBB files must be done in ZIP format with no compression (store only), which I tried a few dozen times already, but it still doesn't work. Every time it erases the file and starts downloading a new copy. I also tried unpacking and repacking without any changes to the game's assets but unfortunately that doesn't work either since it also changes the file's fingerprint. I also tried using AntiLVL v1.4 but that also did not work. Using AntiLVL's APK I get stuck with a blank white screen when using a custom OBB file but still works with the original OBB.
I do own the game and my translation port is not intended to defeat any other check than the one involving the OBB file itself.
I would appreciate very much anyone's ideas and help to get this working.
Thanks!
I'm trying to change the Language on Half Life 2 for the Nvidia Shield.
So I put the VO folder from the PC version with all the .wav files into the .OBB file of the Android Version with Winrar.
It doesn't seem to work though, when I try to run it, the game attempts to redownload the .obb file ..
Is there anything I have to regard, like a signature of the .obb file or something?
Or do I need any special tools to build those files?
I have the same problem with Eternity Warriors 3. the game download the original obb file when the game detect that the obb is modded.
yea I'm guessing there is some kind of signature or even checksum check.
Hey guys,
I am looking for the following files:
DownloadProviderUi.apk
DownloadProviderUi.odex
DocumentsUi.apk
If you want to make things dumbproof and give me a script I can flash via TWRP (which will hopefully work right), which will put these files back in System/App with the proper permissions, awesome.
Earlier, after opening an MP3 with Google Play Music, Google Play Music went crazy, the tablet froze, and upon reboot my download manager did not work, needed to be reinstalled somehow (but couldn't be reinstalled when I opened the .apk file in system/app), rendering the Play store, and Chrome, useless for downloading apps. I tried unsuccessfully to copy the apk/odex to my external SD card, before unexpectedly managing to delete the files. I deleted DocumentsUi.apk, which I probably do not need, by mistake. I tried installing a separate download manager (meant for an older device), but it wouldn't install.
I have a system.sin file for a SGP621 - but cannot extract the individual files without an older version of Flash Tool. And I don't want to flash the full file.
Thanks in advance!
UPDATE - I don't know what I did the 'Download Manager' still doesn't appear in my app drawer and I did not think the APK was still on the tab - but suddenly I can download from Google Play once again. No help needed.
Hii.
I am using redmi note 4 sd marshmallow. I have root and twrp installed.
I was trying to update a game that i have restored via titanium backup after reverting back to stock miui, but i couldn't update because the game folder which is placed in Android/obb is not writable.when i unistalled the game i noticed that the folder is still there.then i came to know about it.i also tried to create a folder in Android/obb/. It works. But the problem is only with that particular game folder located in Android/obb/gamefolder. I couldn't delete nor create a folder in it.i couldn't change permission cuzz there is no option in file manager. Default file manager shows it as readable and writable but it is not. Please help me to fix it.
Thank you.
Hi guys,
I try to update my Note 4 (rooted, but runs stock ROM, 4/64 global version, 1 month old) with regular system update, but it keeps on saying, that I need to turn on WiFi. It IS on. First I figured it´s, because I share my tablet´s internet and doesn´t like hotspots, but connected to my normal rooter with the same "success". It starts downloading however on GSM/LTE. The problem is, that I have a 1 GB net and the package is 1.3 GB. My other thought was, it doesn´t work, because it´s rooted and can´t install OEM update just like on Google devices, but doesn´t even start to download. All other apps work with wifi on, but the sys update.
Open the file manager app in your device and locate the folder where the update.zip file is downloaded, delete it. Since the file is much bigger than your daily limit. Try to download the file from miui website and use apps like adm, where you can easily pause and continue the download of file. Then move the downloaded file to the internal storage and through the updater app, you can select the zip to install.
