[Q] Safest Method to Root on XXUGNA7> - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys! I am gonna root my i9300 on XXUGNA7 (4.3 Official).
I'm no noob but since I read alot. My mind is confused in choosing which root method? Because CF-AutoRoot tells that SDS is vulnerable to my phone. I want a safe method.
Just give a list of the steps i need to follow.
Thanks!
You'll be appreciated with a THANKS for your help

Rooting. Same method for every firmware?

Hi
This is probably the noobiest question.. I am new to the android scene and am clueless. My GS2 comes in today, so excited!!
So I will root it when i get it. Just wondering, is the rooting method the same for every firmware version or does it change as new firmwares come out?
And can someone PLEASE link me to a detailed root guide for the GS2. Keep i mind i am new to the android scene.
Thanks in advance guys!!
As to date, rooting works the same. You flash a pre-rooted rom, or only a rooted kernel. Until Samsung would suddenly lock their bootloaders nothing will change. Luckily Samsung likes the Android community, so they'll keep it easy for us to root.
Ok. So every time i upgrade to a new firmware.. I just use the same root guide and it will work.?
Can you point me to a detailed step by step GS2 rooting guide please?
Thanks for your help
The most easiest way would be to pick the CF-Root kernel matching your firmware/ROM from here:

And just flash that - done.
The kernel takes care of pretty much everything.
Seems complex.. but i will give it a try.

i suggest you take your time, read and understand before flashing.
If you are in a rush, you will make mistakes.
rooting or any other major changes requires reading and understanding before flashing.

See the thread, create your own rooted stock, do that and you shall have a rooted stock ROM.
