I've been experiencing some problems with radio cycling on my Incredible 4g running CM 10.2. I'll go from full 4g service to no service to roaming and back to 4g within about 30 seconds. I have great service and never run into this problem when I swap back to my old Galaxy Nexus. Does anyone know how to fix a problem like this? I've been trying to update my radio to the slightly newer baseband (1.53.06.1009), but HBOOT won't allow me to flash an .img file and I have no idea how to package a .zip that can be flashed in HBOOT or recovery (I use CWM). If anyone has any suggestions on how to update the radio I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I did a research on the forum but couldn't find the answers. Could someone please help me?
The scenario:
I was S-On and rooted then relock and RUU back to install the recent OTA.
Then I tried to unlock and flash the Amon Ra Recovery using Hasson's AIO toolkit v2.1.
Now my HBOOT is look like below and my phone is rooted and able to operate normally.

1) Can I still install custom ROM with the "TAMPERED" status? If not, how to solve this?
2) I saw some screen shot with HBOOT 2.27, RADIO 2.22.10, and the date is Aug 6, 2012. I supposed my phone has been updated to the latest but it seems not. How can I get there?

1) Yes, that particular message does not affect functionality. It reads "Tampered" on the stock bootloader if a custom recovery is installed.

I have recently acquired a rezound that as it seems was GB and somehow it was running ICS (of some flavor) and has been HTCdev unlocked.
Currently it is running 1.9.4 Linaro
Baseband is: 0.95.00.1017_2r, 0.95.00.1013r

So I've seen things regarding 'the wire' and such..
I'm trying to update the Radio mainly.. Seems I can only do that if I'm S-OFF?
(side note, we were in NYC yesterday and dozens of times throughout the 15+hours we were there I had 3/4bars and No Data) I'd bounce the Airplane mode an 2 out of 3 times it would come up to 3G and I'd be working again.. Radio is the only thing I could think of..
So do I have to be s-off for radios? (coming from a dinc2 which was s-off)

you can also get new radio by flashing new RUU but you need to relock bootloader.

1. I tried a lot of roms but some of them didn't worked... ex. Virtuous Eclipse boot up but stuck on logo screen... All gingerbread roms boot up and keep rebooting.... what's wrong here?
2. What hboot and radio version u recommend?

Ok, with these known I know how to help you: on that bootloader you cannot install any roms except ics sense-based. For all others, downgrade your hboot to 1.49 (lots of topics for that round here, you just download the P86IMG to root of sd card, reboot in bootloader and accept the install). Then you will be able to use any roms you wish. Have fun

When you download a CUSTOM ROM it should say if it works with hboot 1.49.For example i have Elegancy ROM and it works for hboot 1.50 or lower.
Look up for ROMs that work with your Hboot

my Evo 3d doesnt want to update to the latest baseband 11.77.3504.00P_11.25.3504.06_M for sure it its already unlocked and rooted and Im already running a Coutsom Rom (Yoda 8.0)
I did the following steps:
1. Downloaded 11.77.3504.00P_11.25.3504.06_M from official release 3.28.707 mwakious
2. put the zip to the root of the SDcard
3. Boot to HBoot
4.Start the update by pushing the "UP VOL" button
5.Update finishing wihout any error
6. Restart
After the restart the Evo is still on RADIO-11.25.3504.06_M
I hope somebody could help to update my Radio

But then I decided to return to stock ROM and in the middle of the process, my OS was deleted, and I don't have a working Recovery anymore, so I am just stuck on the bootloader, and have been trying to solve this mess for hours.
I can't flash any recovery.img's, as I keep getting FAILED/Errors.
Can't boot into Recovery (no recovery installed)
Can't boot up (No OS installed)

Did you run this [RUU] T-Mobile USA | 4.4.2 | Sense 6 | 5.14.531.11 because it is the latest version that T-Mobile has released. If that doesn't work then try this method.

I was able to fix this issue yesterday, it took me a bit to finally find the file from HTC's website. I forgot to update this post, but thanks for replying man
