I need to flash rom of my device and install custom rom on it. but unfortunately I can't understand the technical things on this site coz I am immature for these things, plz help me out and give me the simple tutorial of video or picture by picture.plz plz plz I desperately need that. I just have sample cable (Usb) to connect my device to PC..

I bought this phone just last weekend. I want to upgrade its rom. but now I am puzzled the rom's version.
in the device informaiton:
ROM version: www.xda-china.com
ROM time: 2009.03.30
wireless version: 0.41.30.12
protocol version: 12.41.30.16H
software version: 1.0.0.T4288
I doubt that the rom of version is amended basing on the CHS version of china-unicom. the T4288 is same to the iolite and custom-built by china-unicom.can i ensure the ROM verison through other method?
It´s easy! Make Softreset and read the red letters in the right buttom corner.
I've got the same question. Exactly the same model bought from China with T4288 indicated in the System.

Hello guys, I come here to ask a little help, because I am beginner with windows phone 7 has only a week since I bought my HTC Mozart, as well, based on various information that I gathered, I realized that my OS is the DFT, the problem is, I bought new, but someone installed the 7714 version of DFT for me to get support for my language, Portuguese - Brazil.
But this version has given me some problems, as my lock screen freezing, some delays, things like that, and since then I am trying to solve this problem.
Here is some information on my phone:

Hardmware revision number: 0004

try the slspl version to downgrade the spl and then install an official rom with spl 1.xx and the install the rspl/hspl and then you can install 7.8 versions or whatever you want and it is jailbroke
