[Q] Xolo X1000 Sim Card - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Guys,
I have a Xolo X1000 that has some serious issue with the Sim Card... At any random point the Phone starts showing No Sim Card.
at first i thought i must be something with the sim card tray thing.. but i guess its not.. cuz even when no using the phone and when its just kept aside the problem can occur...
Just curious if there can be any specific known reason for this and if any resolution to the problem is possible.
A request to the admins that if this post is in the wrong section please move it
Thanks

Solved
It was the Sim being loose in the tray and moving.. taped it all around and fixed it

[Q] ''SIM Card Removed. Please reboot phone.''

Hi all, as the title says, I randomly get this issue. I just wake up the phone and see this message here, although I have SIM card still in phone and didn't do earlier anything with it. It is sometimes 2x a week, but sometimes 2x two weeks, it's random. Earlier I just got the phone into Airplane mode and then back and it was OK, but now I have to power the phone off and pull out the SIM. SIM card doesn't seem to be damaged. I tried searching several times, but didn't find anything. Should I just replace the SIM with the new one or is it something worse, that isn't related with my SIM ?
Thank you.
I've got the same problem~

[Q] " SIM Error " Phone does not detect any SIM card!!

Hello all!
My HTC 7 Mozart phone is running NextGen custom ROM!
It was all fine except the battery was draining so very fast, like I had to charge atleast twice a day for my phone to be awake only if i text for the whole day!
The problem now is that,I removed my SIM card for some reason and I plugged it back into my phone but it said
"SIM error
The SIM card is missing or invalid. You can still make emergency calls if your mobile operator supports this."
I tired other SIM card belonging to different operators but still the same problem! Has anyone experienced this? Is there any solution to this?
Please help me! Thnx very much!
I have the same issue. I think the sim slot is damaged.
try cleaning the slot with spray and then dry it fully

SIM NOT DETECTED! need help!!

HI GUYS, Im having an issue with my phone(HTC dna) that is getting beyond frustrating. I got the phone like a month ago off of something it worked fine for the first week..then one day randomly stopped reading my sim card.. Im not a total dummy so ive done and ruled out the obvious , my firmware was verison 4.09.605.4 I just updated it to the current one. 4.09.605.8 so i ruled out firmware being an issue. i then went to amazon and bought the new board were the sim card attaches and the audio jack attaches i just installed that yesterday and still nothing!!. I even bought a new up sim card tray still no.. when the sim card TRAY isnt installed i get a message when about a im card not detected ,ect. when i push the tray in that message goes away which indicates it is trying to read...but in the corner you see a sim card with x through it which means no sim card..I've replaced my sim card 3 times just to rule out that but my sim card works in my other phone just not this one.. When i first got this phone a month ago it worked fine!! no troubles.. Im on the ATT go plan..i put my sim in and nothing..but now it just doesnt work..ive tried hooking my phone to my computer and opening htc sync manager and tried doing the repair and nothing ive litterally tried and ruled out most of the obvious, Is this a known problem with these phones? Can anyone please!! help me with a solution i want this phone so badly..i love this phone!!..ill be waiting for replies..hopefully someone can drop knowledge to me! thank you!
I switched over to straight talk and had the same thing happen for awhile. Changed the tray and still didn't work. What ended up straightening it out for me was either resetting the apn settings or the new sim card i got. After I did those things it worked fine.

GS3 i9300 No Sim Card - persistant issue solved

Hi,
Ive had a GS3 I9300 phone for some time. Had various roms on it over time. Rarely been stock for more that a day or so. Last year had the dreaded no sim card error after a rom upgrade. No matter what I did the sim would not be recognised by the phone.
I read as many threads and followed all the various solutions but nothing worked. I was not a software issue I finally concluded.
I did a search on replacing the SIM and SD Card Holder for the phone. Found a part for $4.50, replaced the part and Bingo! The SIM card was recognised and now works flawlessly. The SIM CARD slot had been damaged somehow. So just wanted to let people know that sometimes it is actually a hardware issue. So glad I've finally solved the issue - i have a spare phone again.
Cheers
Paul
