[Q] Which ROM should i use - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

i need something that has decent battery life has both cameras working pic/vid and preferably beats audio but not necessary if i have to sacrifice it to achieve the other two things:good: thanks in advanced guys

Hi, threads like these aren't allowed. No one can tell you which Rom is best for your needs. I suggest reading and searching and flashing until you find what's best for you. Thanks and have a great day. @BD619

Bluetooth GPS - Which one?

Hi altogether,
I want to buy a bluetooth GPS Mouse to use with my Wizard.
Actually I ogle with the CMJ-1000.
Has someone experiences with this one or can recommend me another one?
Should be not that expensive.
I want to use it in the car, while biking and walking/hiking.
Thanks in advance.

Search just a little please... this is a thread just a few down from your new one... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295300 I personally have given up on recommending accessories as someone will always have a new/better/different suggestion. Read the thread, you'll see some ideas. Let us know what you end up doing so others can benefit.

Sorry, but I read this thread before I posted this one ;-). First, the thread is quite old and did not contain the information I am looking for.
Perhaps I didn't specify my question good enough. "This device xy works fine for me" doesn't help me, because I don't know the needs of the user who is posting.
Perhaps someone who knows, could give some information, which Specs are needed/recommended/needless to different usages.

Well... just about any BT GPS receiver will work, so look for the form factor that suits your needs. Buy a receiver that has at least a SiRF III chip. Here is a site that has a bunch of receivers http://www.usglobalsat.com/ I use the BT359, I drive, I walk, I use it biking but not while I am riding (electronics, biking, death...all too related ) Someone else suggested the iBlue 737 as seen here http://www.gpspassion.com/fr/articles.asp?id=175&page=5
Something you'll have to decide is whether you want data logging. That is useful if you are using the receiver without a live BT-phone connection.
Mostly you need to think about what mode you are going to use it in most frequently. For me, its the car (where I have power so I can overclock the phone), but I do use it elsewhere but it just "depends".

PS you could have added to the old thread and it would have "become new again".
just thought I'd give an update
BT-359 with TomTom 7 works absolutely perfect on WM 6.1 ROM

RomeOs Confuzed vs TiR v10

Hi, I am interested in both these roms. What would you all say are the pros and cons of these two in terms of performance and programs? From what I've been reading both seem to be good but I dont know much so any advice is appreciated.

Hello

Hello guys i am new here so i want to know what can i achieve and do to my ace with this site. i just joined now. and please don't call me a noob or anything because i think i am one. i heard of rooting and things like that. are they safe to do. can someone suggest me a good rom. not an outdated one. stable and good battery life? thanks in advance
This thread will help you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034145
Rooting is just like gaining access to your system files to gain full control of your phone.
I would suggest just reading around xda for a bit before you decide to flash a different rom, people brick their ace's by not fully knowing what they're doing.

Google Now for stock ICS Rom?

Is it possible, someone ever tried, to put google now like our fellows in Xda, in our Stock Rom rooted? Is the voice works?
Thanks
No One?
Havent even tried ever but see here, maybe you find something

Search and read
Thread has been moved to Q&A section
OP, please do spend a little time searching before posting up a question. It does have a couple of benefits, it helps keep the forums more organized and less cluttered by not having multiple threads on the same topic, and most importantly you might learn something just by reading, might even learn something you didn't even know you needed to know, even if you don't find what you are looking for through a search, the odds of gaining some kind of information on this website is insanely high.
All that being said, it looks like one of our nice users has already helped you out Good luck!
Thanks,
DSB
I have tried Google now on stock 4.1.B.0.431 & it works fine.. Both online & offline

[Q] Freezing ROM

Hi!
I'm looking for a smoother ROM than the one I'm using right now. This one is a ROM provided by T-Mobile. But it freezes up a few times a day (while browsing internet), the battery heats up most of the time and this freeze can degrade the batterycapacity by 70%.
Can anybody advice me on this?
Galaxy s2, T-Mobile NL
OS Android 4.0.4
Cheers! El Jappe
@ Mods, maybe this isn't the right forum, can you refer me to the right place then?
Root, make a backup and try custom roms until you find what your looking for. Any major custom rom is probably better then T-mobile
Thanks for that! Any particular ROM you could advice me?

Decide for yourself. Don't let this become a 'best rom'-thread.

I think it's a bit late for that now Donnie.
OP - Try a bunch of rom out for yourself until you find one you like.

Why, thanks for the wristslapping. Always nice to get a warm welcome from experienced users, who didn't make it to the mod status themselves.
Any advices given with good intentions are deeply appreciated.
May the mods be with me
Want a loophole? ask if this could be a hardware issue and what ROM should you try.
Now, you really need advice on picking a ROM?
If the answer is yes here's my comeback:
".............."

Always nice to see people like you who are too arrogant to follow the rules and decide to make their own ones. However, they aren't quite welcome here because they are too lazy to do some research, like all of us (the fake mods, nice one, did you made that up all by yourself?) do.
If you're mad because of the plain, correct answers you have been given, maybe it's better to don't participate in this forum.

root and do backup and try another rom
