screen mirroring - Xperia Tablet Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying to set up my Z and Z tablet with the one touch pairing thing under the Xperia settings but I can't. I get the message that my devices have to be on 4.4 whilst they do! Anyone here who managed to do it? I want to mirror my phone's screen on the tablet..

Enable "Optimized Lighting" again in the display settings* and reboot, or update to the latest firmware (download PC Companion on your computer and connect your Ultra to your computer)
*When you get the screen working again. A reboot should do it.

Screen mirror from Xperia phone to XTZ

So under settings-> xperia connectivity there is the option for screen mirroring that's says: Mirror your Xperia's screen on your TV or tablet.
Anyone know how to get a xperia phone to screen mirror to the tablet? When I try it says no device found. If I do the one touch setup it connects everything except screen mirroring and says that feature requires a tablet.

it can only be used to mirror screen from tablet to TV, not from smartphone to tablet.
They should change the menu then because it says mirror your Xperia's screen on your TV or Tablet.

[Q] Screen problems

Hello,
I am facing same issues with my sony xperia z ultra.
Sometimes when I wake up the phone to unlock it, the screen is "milky" everything is working properly, but the screen.
To return to normal view, I have to put the phone to sleep and wake it up again few times.
Here are some photos of normal and "milky" screen:

What might be the problem here?

Probably is a bad contact on board wich connect the screen or maybe screen defect...
Screen when turning On
I think I have the same issue as you but mine is different. I have to turn off & on again to get it to the normal screen. Attach you the image below. Any body have suggestions?, maybe changing the flex cable, I dont know:silly:

[Q] anyone else lost landscape on home screen while docked?

the subject covers the problem, this happend after mm installed.. was a direct push from sony...
found a couple of threads about turning phone off, then docking then turning phone on. then undock. well now my lock screen goes into landscape kinda nice, but when i swipe up to unlock home screen is in portrait mode. would prefer home screen in landscape while charging. managed to find a app that forces it to work, but does not compress the home screen like the stock lolipop 5.2.1 i think it was, did.
beers
Yeah. This update (570) is as bad as the 5.0.2 build that came without X-Reality. No auto rotation, some sound enhacement features are missing and much more things that keep me from using Marshmallow for more than a full day.
Gee, I thought I was the only one having this issue. Yeah, it's so bad. Even on Facebook when I try to livestream while charging on dock, it's still in Portrait mode.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z problem - spinning screen at start - not able to stop

My wifes tablet started screen spin (continuous change even when on flat surface) now unable to do anything after start up. Any ideas..... I can't use Xperia companion to troubleshoot as it says "locked" and unable to use touch screen successfully to do anything.
