trying to find some tpu covers for galaxy tab 7.7. has anyone came across these ones and can comment on their quality?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPU-Silicon...143645?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3f0eda8d1d
From my recent searches on eBay, there still seems to be only one type of TPU cover for the Tab 7.7. The one with the "X" pattern on the back. I have one is black I used for a while when I first got my tab. Their quality and fit is good.
I have the TPU case from verizon store and it's not that bad and they didn't completely gouge me on price either
I picked up the Speck StyleFolio for the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2".
It will fit the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2" as well. The only issue, is that the location where the S-pen would be, remains open.
Everything else is great.
I had the Samsung flip case but I didn't like the lack of support it seemed to provide.
It looked like they just enlarged the 10.1" case with out doing any engineering.
The Samsung case seemed to sag to me. It couldn't support the large tablet correctly.
I really like this case.
The clasp ensures that your tablet is safe if you are walking around and accidentally drop it.
I've read through a lot of the posts regarding cases, and have been considering the Logitech keyboard case, but honestly, the reviews aren't very good for the case as far as securing and protecting the device. I'm mainly concerned about the screen getting cracked or scratched during transit. My pro will spend most of its time on my desk but will have a lot of time in my backpack between classes. At the moment it's sharing space with my Mac Book Air in a soft briefcase-type of thing. I was hoping for something a lot like the Zagg keyboard case I have for my iPad 4. I don't care much about the keyboard since the Zagg pairs nicely with my Pro, and I plan to use the stylus 99% of the time.
Any recommendations or ideas? The Zagg for my iPad is pretty low quality as far as the keyboard is concerned but I've never worried about traveling with my iPad when it's in that case. It's a real beast!
Although I don't have one, my vote goes to the Speck Stylefolio .
1. You say you don't need a keyboard since you already have one that works.
2. Having the flip cover protects the screen while in your bag.
3. The flip cover does not have any magnets which means no interference with S-Pen functionality.
OtterBox. Period. Adds some major weight and size, but if you truly want what you're describing - in regards to the most protection any case out there can offer - then there you have it. It's also $130. Best $130 you'll spend on your nearly $700 tablet. A little steep, but your investment is just a tid-bit steeper, don't you think?
I purchased this one off a recommendation here. It protects it nicely but I will be trimming it around the buttons as it covers them slightly. And annoys the crap out of me.

I do have the Speck Stylefolio, and it provides great overall protection with minimal bulk, and securely holds the Note Pro. Quality materials, worth the cost.
=GO=
You can find iPad Case at www cell-phonecover com.
I have both the Samsung flip cover, which has no bulk and the Samsung Keyboard case. Had the logitech, and it damaged the corner by the spen by chipping the finish off the tab.
The flip cover corners have cracked and kinda fits looser. I only use it if I'm doing a site walk outside for work. Other than that, if it's on your desk most of the time, I would recommend a stand of some sort that doubles as a cover.
I just bought a galaxy tab s4 and this might be a stupid question but is it possible to stick the the s pen onto the tablet like how the iPad pro holds its pen instead of having to carry it separately.

Not that I'm aware of. I use this case which has a handy S Pen holder. But then I put the S Pen in an old eyeglass case when it is in my laptop bag.
That case is nice, but I use this one since it keeps the SPen from hanging out of the case: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QFTWDQ...olid=15LEXHYSN1K1O&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Thanks!
I use original Book Cover and love it
The original Book Cover does fine, although an embedded pen as in the GT-N8010 would have been nicer.

My Note 10.1 has an embedded pen, and it is awful. I haven't taken it out in years. I always carry a bamboo feel stylus instead.
S4 S Pen
I have the OEM keyboard case but had to order a new pen because it was lost by the previous owner. It did not come with the clip to attach it to the case. They have several little sleeve type things that strap on to the case on Amazon but if anyone has any idea where to get the original clip, that seems preferable. I'm obviously not buying the $100+ case I already have just for that clip. Thanks in advance.
I was wondering the same as I have switched from book cover to no cover at all (I installed matte finish protectors on front and back)
I got an idea the other day. If you could 3d print a sleek holder for the S pen that could attach on those 2 little notches on the bottom edge that are meant to hold on to the keyboard cover. Another awesome option would be a magnetic holder that could attach to the POGO pins in between those 2 notches I mentioned earlier!
A cheap alternative

I'm a little late, but did you ever find where you could get the snap on thing for the OEM keyboard?
I bought a Tab S4 a while back from the original owner but they lost the s pen and the s pen holder (and thus marked down the price so I simply ordered a replacement s pen for cheaper). So I have the replacement s pen but would also like to be able to snap it to the keyboard.
@Austinwc0402 Take a look at the poetic website. They have a transparent case with a nice s pen holder. Way nicer than the original one.

I currently have the Samsung book case for the tab s7+. I am having issues with the s pen coming loose and falling off. The book case with the tab s6 had a flap on the top back of the case that would cover the s pen so it couldn't fall off. The book case for the s7+ does not have this. Does anybody know of a case for the tab s7+ that does hold the s pen in place?

I like the supcase unicorn beetle. Not a book case though
I picked up a TiMOVO case from Amazon. It has elastic that holds the s pen in place. It feels a little more bulky than the book cover case but not to bad.
Spigen recently released (in the last month or so) a new book case. I think it's superior to Samsung's own book case. Offers a trifold front cover that can be folded back and also a spot to mount the s pen in the designated area on the back of the tablet. Link below if you're interested. I picked it up and it's been great.

Why don't you put the s-pen in the spot on the spine of the book cover? Mine has never fallen out when the case is closed. Everyone complains that their book cover doesn't hold the s-pen in place during transport when they leave it on the back even though the slot on the spine is completely protected. The only problem is that it doesn't charge there.
I got mine from Best buy Canada, Tucano brand, no magnet crap to mess up my S Pen, the only one that has no Smart cover thing.
Perfect protection of the pen.
Actually, so good that I had trouble getting the pen out so I cut off a few mm to make it easier

Infiland case - great quality, reasonable price:

Take a look at the Fintie line of cases on Amazon. I've got one for the S7 and S5e, both look and feel great. I don't have actual experience with the one for the S7+ though.

Old thread, but I wanted to say I bought this one, too, and it is outstanding. Not much bulk, great protection, and the pen stays put.
I have both the original Keyboard Case and Book Cover Case. Been rocking the Keyboard case about 95% of the time. Its aweome, and I use my tablet for a lot of productivity, so its nice to have quick acess to keyboard. The pen is stored on the back, like it was on tab S6 Book cover.
On the book cover its stored inside the case. Also convenient.

You have to get a keyboard case for that. Like this.

I had the Tab S6 also with that same case. I loved it, and gave up ever finding one for the Tab S7+ I now have that same Spigen case. its really the only one that works for me.

This is the Poetic TurtleSkin. It's fat and rubbery but not sticky. I got it for less that $20. I had to get used to it but now I can say I'd buy it again. I also have the genuine book cover wich is well made but overpriced. And dealing with the pen seems like it was an afterthought.
The Spigen one runs for several inches along the back, and holds the s Pen firmly. Mine has never come loose.
