Yo,
I got a problem because on lock screen (screen off) when i get notification (sms or app notification or something) i have the sound but the screen is not turning on.
Also if i turn on screen then i don't have any notification shown on lock screen.
is this a bug or that's normal? i had some android phones before and they were cool but it's weird here

Same problem in my wifes phone. Can anybody can help to solve this issue?

I get the same issue, but it's only when I lock the screen with the app open. if i'm on my homescreen everything is back to normal.

Anyone else experiencing this? Screen wakes up for no reason and stays on permanently till I turn off. I'm on bad boys from BTW, thanks.

This was unchecked. Hasn't been happening this past day, I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the tip though.
Guys anyone know how to wake the screen while receiving a SMS notifications?
My unit is LG v10 verizon unit when i received a sms i can see it on the second screen but the main screen is off.
I set the lock screen notification to show all notifications.
Settings of sms is pop up and preview

to get this i think you should turn off the second screen when the phone is locked...so, you lose the second screen to get wake up screen while receiving notifications.

I tried to disabled the second screen but still i cannot see the sms on the mains screen
I'm using LED Actor to put a nice big alert sign on the lockscreen when I miss a call or message.
Very happy with its performance and tweaking options.
My notifications won't appear on lock screen after unlocking the device. 1st it's show up then the 2nd time it's gone even though i didn't open the notification.
why??

Mine is different from them.. all my notif are gone after waking up the phone.. music player still show up btw, others is gone

Hi guys. I need help. After replacing creen in my 4x I face strange problem. Phone boots, show lockscreen and after 2 second becomes black. When I want to wake up phone I see big clock and one notification icon (SMS) and black background. When I use volume buttons animation is normal (volume animation show up as usual on screen ) also finger scanner stop recognise my finger. Anybody face similar issue?
May be repair guy ****ed your phone up..
BTW what screen you chose and how much it cost?
Mine need replacement too.
Is double tap to wake working on new screen.

I am facing the same problem in my Redmi K20 pro.
Everytime I flip my phone over the screen turns off after a couple of seconds. Really annoying in games and videos-- are there any possible fixes for this?

Maybe you have "Flip to Shhh" turned on (settings\system\gestures) which I think also turns off the screen. I had it on for a while and noticed this.

Thanks for the response!
I just realized the actual issue, uninstalling digital wellbeing from ADB caused my "flip to shh" gesture to go away, and disabling usage access just causes the same problem of turning the screen off again. My only solution is to keep digital wellbeing untouched.
