Is there a way to use apps other than the predetermined 10 in the dual window feature? On my G2 I could use any app.

Thanks for linking me to that topic. That was really easy and it should probably come standard from LG.

Have you tried both the S-Pen and the power+home method? Sometimes one works when the other doesnt for me.

I've seen some hacks for a few of the other samsung phones that let you add other apps to the multi window view instead of just the built in apps. Just wondering if any one has found a way to do that on our mega 6.3 yet?

I kind of knew this coming into this phone as the dev community probably wouldn't be as large as the flag ship phones, but the phone has been really good so far with the exception of the headphone volume being very low.

Some times is hard when you are responding via mobile and driving.
We already have the multi window feature, will this allow us to add apps to it?

The multi window feature that comes with the phone is limited to some apps. This will allow you to add to the multi windows any app in your phone.

I am rooted, just the play store app didn't work and said I needed root. Very weird...
I interpreted the post wrong. I thought I could choose either method separately but I believe the post is saying that you have to install both the xposed installer and the multi window manager. Neither one of them by itself worked for me but when I installed both apps it worked. I hope this helps those hsving problems.

Correct xposed allows you to install other things besides multi window mod. Also samsung has app called samsung multi pro or something similar to that. It will allow you to do the same but you have to pay for the app. I personally have no experience with it.

A little off-topic but, dude, texting/posting while driving is pretty dumb. Not saying that to be mean, but you need to prioritize your's and other's safety ahead of responding to forums.
I got mine that working fine , you need only root your phone, install multi window manager from play store, it can let you add any apps you like
Yup, you are right. I tried that app when I first got the phone (after installing the root kernel) and it would keep giving me errors saying i wasn't rooted. I just tried the app again and it works perfectly. Thank you!

The best screen capture app I've come across is SCR Free on the play store, it requires root amdd does a fantastic job. I used it to film me playing some games for a pal of mine.

I don't think there is an app for screen record without root maybe because its accessing deeper APIs

You need root to get any of these to install. If you have root you can.move it to the system and set permissions, just installed the calculator from that thread.

The one in this thread yes, but it is old. The one in the link above is from the G5 and does not install without root. I tried.
What's different in the G3 calculator vs the G3 calculator I posted? G3 calculator is also the same as the G4 one.

Thank you for this! I came from v10 and don't for the life of me understand why they left out the calculator on the v20!
Who in their right mind would want a calculator that doesn't show history? I mean, if you can have the option, why the heck not?
Shopping season is here and I need a working calculator to figure out what I'm spending and saving! lol
