The Correct Safestrap version is in the rom. Make sure its installed after you flash this app.
Rom Was Debloated. Not fully but has a lot removed.
Stuff that's all flubbed up:
**Never use the message delay in the messaging app. Or anything that would cause the messaging app to use the clock. The framework will cause forecloses that will not stop.
I would not suggest flashing any of the gallery S5 zips. These cause force closes also. The zips do report working but did not on the i545
Anything else let me know.
The S5 settings.apk was missing more settings than S4 and had force closes on boot. Was removed.
Magazine is not clickable
Scrapbook may be removed in future update. Scrapbook needs some framework changes to work.

no safestrap. i fried my mdk device. recovered it but lost the eri. so i have no mdk tester. even if i did this will not boot with the changes made. i looked. some lines point to hardware that isnt there.
Didn't work on mdk Dev edition. Processes wouldn't load and just wouldn't boot correctly. Nice try though.

Just flashed this one on SS. after rebooting I get a couple of force close errors for the acore.phone process. Is that normal for this rom? They don't reappear after the initial boot though.

There's two settings.apk in system>private app the second one is causing this. I did not experience your same problem with nova. Did you do a fresh install?

It is now possible to run Halo (Well Halo Windows) on Samsung Stock/Custom Roms::
(You will either have Halo Window or Multi-Window. There are flashables for both that I created for you. What the zips do is rename Multi-window files in your /system to enable xHalo to work or re-add the original multiwindow files back to your /system to get Multi-window functionality back)
1) Download XHalo Floating Windows from HERE
2) Download Floating Notifications
From The Play Store If You Don't Already Have It.
(Go thru inital setup and enable the services under accessibility; also you will want to go into the settings menu and enable "Launch apps in Halo Window")
This is NOW OPTIONAL, as you have the choice to hold down
the notification you want in your notification drawer,
and the "Open In HALO" option will be given to you.

Hey trent I have a small problem I followed this and I got it installed. When i send myself a text and i get the floating notification pop up and i try to open it it opens in the notification bubble as well as the full blown screen behind it. Am i doing something wrong?

Yeah working flawless but I notice this too. The message app opens in the background unlike other apps acting like legit halo. Loving this though buddy. Thanks. Even bought floating notifications because this works so damn well.

So the fix is simple man. Just go in the floating notification app and check the apps u would want to open in floating notifications that way when you get a text or notification you open it through the floating notification app.

Also I notice 1.20 has the bug where it opens up in Halo and as a normal Window. Use 1.18 as it does not have that issue.
My phone will be replaced from tmobile due to some screen problems, whats the easiest way to get the multiwindow back, is it as simply as renaming the xml1. back to xml? Any step by step to help me is out is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

I used Root Explorer to rename the files. The search took a minute but it found all the files and I was able to rename. Couple small bugs but it works great!!

Found an alliance ROM for the S4. Is that the one, haven't found the zip link yet.

Procedure
If you are coming from a different ROM, data/factory reset is mandatory. If you are flashing over a previous SlimKat build, cache wipe will be sufficient.
You will need to flash the latest recovery ( CWM or TWRP ) mentioned above for a successful flash.
A nandroid backup is recommended prior to flashing SlimKat in case you get into problems.
Flash the recovery using Odin
Flash ROM from recovery. Reboot.
Reboot to recovery and flash GApps.

Also, Xposed framework isn't working.

I have installed 41 apps with no reboots. Not sure about exposed framework becoz I don't use it.
You will have issues. That's why its a beta release.

You haven't enabled root. It's here somewhere in the thread. Xposed works fine and no reboots here

Anyone having probs with GPS?
EDIT: possible bug: GPS receiver not working. I have 3 apps telling that GPS is disabled while this is enabled. (so no signal going from antenna to app)

Oh now this looks tasty. Hoping to hear some feedback from others on how this baby runs. I've used R3Ds rom on my thunderbolt years ago and it was solid. Just haven't made the leap from 4.3 yet with the all the issues going on.

You have to edit quick settings in menu to include it. Thankfully he told me this yesterday so i can share it with you today.

When you say older rom, you mean just before you themed it or is it a previous build? I love this port but prefer stock theme and/or anything but black. lol Thanks man.

Strange how everyone is different. Black is ask I like. I run as many inverted apps and settings as possible. Used to run r3's roms until he joined nebula and stopped updating his inverted one. His stuff was ALWAYS rock solid.
I have this installed on 2 phones, and I can't seem to get WiFi direct to work. I can connect, but when I try and send file, it crashes settings. Is there an easy fix for this?
Here is my initial findings with this rom. Stock everything, clean install.
- android vending FCs ( went away after awhile and haven't came back)
- Reboot 8 out of 10 times doesn't work ( just bootloops, pulling battery allows it to start.)
- Stock Camera took a crap during this whole journey and now system ui FCs (aftermarket camera do work, this is even after clearing data on the camera and reinstalling)
MD5 verified, and this ain't my first rodeo. Just reporting what is going on for me. YMMV

Heavily Modified TouchWiz Launcher!
I have had an earlier version of this mod posted in my mods thread for a while but wanted to create its own thread for it since I tweaked it a bit and would like some feedback and suggestions. This is a heavily modified version of the stock launcher. I decided to try and integrate everything into itself and attempt to unlock some hidden features. Check out the list below as to what has changed from the stock launcher. As usual, the latest versions of all my mods are also included in my Project Infinity ROM which is focused on having all the latest and greatest features and an infinite selection of customization options. If you have my ROM installed then there is no reason to flash this seperately. Enjoy!

Whats Changed?-Added pullup (pull up from bottom of screen to launch favorite app, disable it in settings)
-Added built in theme support (can access it directly from launcher settings now)
-Enabled app list view
-Now you could use more then one line in folder name
-Disabled help text on empty pages
-Sped up all animations
-Made wallpaper scrollable
-Includes 18 open source themes by default installed to /data so they could be easily uninstalled!
-More will be added when I think of it or find them! Suggestions always welcome!

FAQ
How do I access the launcher settings/themes?
This is a common question as Samsung by default does not include a noticable button to access the launcher settings by default.
To access the menu either long press on the hard menu key or an empty space on the home screen.
That will take you to another menu where you can pick from widgets, wallpaper or settings.

I will hope for this section to become a directory of whatever themes on XDA will work with the launcher. I will update it as I find more.

It is deodexed but should work on any rom. If you are on an odexed rom and get force closes or the system doesnt boot after flashing, then just go to system/app or system/priv-app and remove TouchwizLauncher.odex or SecThemes.odex if they are present and reboot. Perhaps in a future version I will add a function to check if they are present and remove them for odexed roms.

After running this for a while, I've been encountering a freeze. Keyboard is unresponsive, and I end up having to do a battery pull. Have gone back to original launcher until I can figure out what's going on.
best of the best. work on my odex rom G900H (XtreStoLite 1.3.5) very very smooth:good: just put option for off scroll wallpaper tanx :highfive:

Actually, it's this Inverted White Samsung Keyboard. I may revert to the stock one and test drive this weekend.

Tried flashing this rom tonight. The modem flashed fine, but I get an error when installing the Rom. "Error: unable to mount 'system'
I was coming from the crdroid ROM, and wiped cache, DC, system and data as advised.

I ran into the same error, however, the rom flashed fine. I think it might have to do with the device being plugged in at the time of flash.
You should see that after the installation is done, it says the installation was successful.

When I go to reboot after the flash tho, a popup warns that no system is installed. I didn't go any further and just restored my backup just to be safe.

This Rom works awesome... Yes you will get an error after install... Ignore it. I have been running this since it's initial post in another thread for about a week no issues....

funny story, I have all the errors fixed. uploaded to mega. deleted the old one. well turns out i deleted the new one and kept the old one

the clock app is back, the tethering works fine, and as for xposed that will be posted tomorrow with the latest framework

When you update the rom with xposed and framework, would i be able to dirty flash that over your original stock rooted rom?

Thats correct, be sure to be on the latest recovery, no more OTA. If you want to return to KK be sure to have the KK baseband

Well atm I'm on cm12 with the original stock kitkat. I flashed the lollipop modem that someone posted not too long ago. Do I still need to re download and flash the baseband of I want to flash this Rom?
