Hello everyone.
Just wondering, has anyone ever come across an all-metal housing for our beloved G1? Could you imagine how much cooler it would be, in both heat and style, if there was an aluminum housing..?
I looked all over eBay, unfortunately found nothing..
Perhaps someone on these awesome forums would have some info?

youd be better off making one yourself or asking a friend who knows how to do metal work do it for you. just remove the plastic housing and have alll the dimensions measured and use the measurments to make a new one

Has anyone found a weatherized case similar to the Lifeproof cases for the iPhone? All the ones I can find look like a ziplock. Thanks in advance for any help. Sorry for not having a link, this is my first post I've been lurking for years and never needed to ask a question before, but that brand of case in the address bar should take you there.

Hey, 1st post here as well. Sadly i have been searching around for something similar. noting pops up yet. But im thinking of sending my lumia 920 to Liquipel ( the company that does chemical treatment so that ur phone becomes water resistant). and maybe slap on the full body skin protection also afterwords. should be an almost-as-good alternative. anyways. enjoy ur lumia..

Hadn't heard of Liquipel but after looking at them they may be a good choice. Too bad they don't have pricing for the Lumia 920 yet.
Have none of you heard of ottorbox defenders? They are weather proof. Not water proof, but water resistant. I have mine in an ottorbox and I could throw on the floor or against the wall and it would not get any damage. Walk in the rain, no problem, go swimming? Yep then you have a problem. Of course if it is that weather tight then you also sacrifice function as far as access to ports, speakers, microphones, and even possibly touch screen.

I have the defender on my 920 and a Nokia wireless charger. It has no issue working through the defender. In fact you can hold the phone about a half inch or 13mm above the charger and it will still work. The only case that you would have an issue with is one that was made of metal, or was metalized.
Please any1 suggest me a tempered glass screen protector...there are thousands of them in ebay...if anyone bought , it will be usefull....
which is the best tempered or matte??? what are their pro's n con's???

It depends on your handling of the device.. If device falls from your hand regularly, then go for tampered one because it will save your phone's display from getting damaged when it falls off your hands.. Else, go for matte finish

And this is why you never throw away them plastic screen protectors that where on the phone when you bought it I always stick mine to the box.

Did you get a complete wrap? How difficult is it to install? It looks like there is lots of room for operator error when installing.
It covers the phone completely. You get separate peices for the side and back. It's not hard but fiddly. A point to note is if you have a tight case the top/bottom stickers can get pushed off as you fit the case on so watch out.
