I am looking for a lockscreen, where I can configure:
after an hour or other time go into passcode lock
until this time, only a slid to unlock should be available
I have a S4 running on root but with the stock rom
Here I do not have thoose options
4.4.2 is the Android version

Hi, I searched but I couldn't find the answer.
What is the stock Galaxy S3 touchwiz lock screen apk file?. I'm on flashed Stock Jelly Bean odex DLIH (spain), rooted.
I ask because I wish to get the vanilla Jelly bean lock screen on my Samy, Jelly Bean styled launchers lock screen are a mess and I do not like Holo Lock, is buggy.
I tried looking for a mod to flash but could only find it along with ROMs or with other features I do not wish to have. At the moment I don't find useful custom ROMs since most are not stable or have WiFi tethering broken. I need WiFi a lot and I like all the Samsung features.
I read if you delete the samy lock screen apk the system will automatically use the original Jelly Bean lock screen, is this true?
If not, could someone point me into the right direction on how to achieve this.

The lock screen is built into the android framework..
You have to modify the framework file to change the lock screen..

Both Slide to unlock, the the Pattern screen (was possible in 9.1.0 but im not sure how i managed it)
Disabling Widgets on the Lockscreen so its not possible to scroll left and right?

in Germany we got the offical Update from Samsung, the XWLSD for 4.1.2..
The only thing what is missing here, is the shortcuts on the lockscreens. On my first try to flash the new FW over Odin i got a strange thing. I had a CSC error and with this error i got the shortcut option for the lockscreen. But the system was not stable and i flashed new and cleaned the system.
Now the shortcuts are missing and ive got no option for them in the lockscreen settings. It seems that samsung dont want this nice option for us in germany :/ .
Is it possible to activate the shortcuts on a other way? Would be awesome when we could get it on the XWLSD.
I searched for this problem a lot, but couldnt find anything that goes in this direction, and im not so safe in modding the system by my own.
Hope someone could help me/ others with this problem in the original FW from samsung.
Bueller? Anybody? I have the same issue. No shortcuts on my GS2 lock screen, and no option to add them. Stock 4.1.2 XWLSD rom for Germany (DBT), rooted using method one in this post, with Nova Launcher. I've tried using the TouchWiz launcher and still have no option to add shortcuts to the lockscreen.

I am running stock android 4.2.1 that comes along with Iris 504q. Now I am getting conflicting answers when searching Google so asking here to seek clarification. In Android JellyBean 4.2.1, can you or can you not access Camera when using Pattern Lock? With Slide lock when you swipe right to left it shows but if I use Pattern Lock you just cannot swipe to left and access Camera. Is that so with your 4.2.1 becoz I read in 4.2.1 onwards you CAN access Camera even with Pattern/Pin lock mode. Please help as am confused as may be the manufacturer just edit the build.props to rename 4.1 to 4.2.1?? Please clarify. Also please let me of any other feature that is present only in 4.2.x and NOT in 4.1 which will me verify.

In the stock Samsung Jelly Bean 4.3 OS I have seen many folks talk about how to use the following option....
Settings - My Device - Lock Screen - Lock Screen Widgets - Favourite Apps or Camera
but I don't have that option on my Galaxy Note 2 at all after updating to Jelly Bean 4.3 (N7100XXUEMK9, which I think is the official version for my Note 2 , living in the UK)
Can anyone else please check if they have the above option on their stock 4.3 installation? I would really like to be able to make use of this feature and loads of people are talking about how to use it so it must be that a lot of people have it on their Note 2.
What I don't understand is the reason why it's not on mine. Is it....
- wrong firmware
- faulty installation (I have tried it twice now)
- simply not meant to be available on UK phones on 4.3
If anyone else with a Note 2 running any of the stock 4.3 versions can check to see if they have it (or not), and what location their firmware is, it would help me out.
