Hello,
Technology is so much upgraded now, that with the Smartphone Smartwatch is also taking their place in the heart of gadget users. Smartwatch is a good concept to connect with our mobile phone. Also it has some new features which can make life easier.
This is actually pretty cool, but I am assuming the wear is only compatible with G3.

Android Wear should be compatible with any KitKat phones. I'm pairing mine with G2. My friend with his N5.

I picked up the LG G3 to replace my Nexus 5 that replaced my LG OG, all on Sprint.

Thanks. I kind of stumbled into my roll as LG fanboy.
Picked up an LG OG off digicycle real cheap ($110?) to replace my Galaxy S3 after I shattered it 2 weeks into my then 2 year agreement. Replaced THAT LG OG with......another digicycle OG for like $90. After that it was a no-brainer.
I've been through from front to back

I too picked up this phone on Monday! I updated to v6 because I thought it was android 4.4.4 but its fine. V6 isn't bad at all because there is not a lot of bloatwear. For now, I really want to root my phone just to get rid of bloatwear but that's not a big issue. I'm enjoying this phone so far because its fast, thin, smooth, and just been great so far!! Also, the display is amazing!!
I just ordered a spigen slim case for my phone along with a icarez tempered glass screen protector because this phone is so fragile and I don't want to break/scratch it at all.

Going back a little further, I had an HTC Hero and the Samsung Instinct which is the dumbest smart phone ever. Happy New year.

If you're going to root, don't get too comfy with ZV6 because you will have to go back to ZV4 then root and then flash a rooted ZV6 or custom rom. Happy New year.

I didn't experience KitKat on this thing for more than two minutes while I enabled dev options and got it ready for twrp, lol.
At the time I wasn't aware Xposed was a no go on 5.0 + and now I am pretty damned torn about rolling back for some xposed lovin

Blehhh. I hate to crush everyone's dreams, but cmon. Look how old this phone is, why would lg update this phone, what benefit will they get from doing it? And who will be mad if they don't? This almost dead sub forum? I hope I am wrong, but on the bright side, we will see marshmallow in cyanogenmod form most likely. When? Well, since most development has died we might wait for some time.

I hope we don't get the HTC treatment, I'm betting we will. This phone is well past the 18- month life expectancy. I'm sure a G3 M port will show up around here eventually.
Well Verizon G2 got lollipop before G3, so who knows what might happen.
As said in another post from another user, g2 fan base is bigger than g3 and g4 one
They NEED to update g2, if they do it, they will have only benefits from who is happy with g2, and will re buy a LG phone

If the G2 gets 6.0 upgrade, I don't think it is because LG wants to make us happy but it is a selling argument for them for the most recent flagship, like "Look, if you buy our phone, we will continue to maintain it when two new generations are available". If I didn't have a G2 yet, that would be a compelling argument for me to buy LG (G4, for example).
G2 mini is just barely 18 months old. Lame if they dont give one last and final update.

Would be very great if the G2 gets an Update to M and not only G2 Users would benefit from an Upgrade also LG,because it would mean that the G2 had a Support for more than 2 years (which would be way better than other competitors like HTC,.)

It really sucks that LG has decided to shaft it's flagship in order to release 6.0 first on the G4, when all their advertising is for the v10.

I hate to say it, but the V10 is far from their flagship device. Maybe after releasing V10 variants a few times it'll get there. Until then, the G series is still considered the LG flagship, even if it is cheaper. I love the V10 more than most and I'm sure we will have MM sooner than later.

Exactly. The G series is their flagships. Their others are, honestly, niche devices that they don't really focus all their efforts on.
