Ditto. I believe my LCD Density Value is set to 245. But themer can't handle that so I am wondering what people are using?

Any intention to support multi DPI?
Alot of Custom ROMS allow easy changing of the DPI, Seems your limiting your potential market.
I Love Themer, I just cannot use it, as Landscape and Multi DPI do not work properly.

In the future we might look at multi DPI support, however at this moment the task is a lot harder than it sounds. Sorry about that.

I completely understand the complexity of the multi DPI.
But has anyone considered some pre defined DPI's
So at least the user can get a Near Enough DPI, and then tweaking the theme to fit perfectly is only minimal changes.
Again just a theory, I have never really worked on DPI.

There's a strange relationship with a device's DPI and resolution, which is why many device aren't supported (such as the G3). We've tried what you've suggested, however "near-enough" isn't what the average user wants

Hi, unfortunately the Mega isn't supported just yet due to its resolution. Hopefully it will be soon though!
I have a rooted Nexus 5 with SlimKat ROM running. SlimKat changes the DPI by default, but using BuildProp Editor I changed it to the stock 445 DPI. However, Themer says my resolution is wrong. If I set Themer as my default launcher, I can press the home button and see the default Themer appearance, I just can't download anything from the app. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I was running trents rom on the GN2 at 270 and it looked ok. I have gotten away from this application recently though.

Hi, try changing it to the default DPI settings (480), as this should help Themer recognize the themes.
Good luck!

I also use 220

What are you expecting "full screen mode" to do? I've not heard of it myself, unless you mean "expanded desktop". Please could you elaborate a little?
Personally, I always prefer on AOSP ROMs to lower the DPI to about 240 - 245 to make everything smaller and crisper.

And that's what I want: everything smaller! But I've installed CM and it didn't ask me if I wanted 320 or 240 DPI, and I was looking for a good looking ROM with a great design but I've tried 2 ones and I couldn't send / get messages :\

Well, you can change the DPI manually in build.prop. Or you can install exposed framework and get an app to change it (Per app DPI). If you could elaborate the problem about sending/receiving messages more, then it would be helpful.
Maybe ParanoidAndroid could be the ROM of your choice. PA offers complete or independent DPI settings without big editing like in pure CM10.1.
I personally use pacman ROM and have set via paranoid android settings apps DPI as I like. Some bigger some smaller.
Using an alternative launcher could also be a solution. In Apex you can set how many icons should be displayed in a row and line. This also makes the home screen "smaller"

Please set your DPI to default as well as make sure that the soft keys are visible. Soon we'll look at supporting multiple DPI settings for devices.
Any progress with alternative DPI settings on the Nexus 5? I'd love to run a lower DPI, say 421 or 381 for example.

Not yet, as it's an immense process to get all the widgets, icons and wallpaper to align correctly. Right now when Themer is installed it looks at what the device is called and chooses the appropriate themes. Throwing in custom DPI's makes this a bit more difficult, but the development should still be able to implement soon. :good:

potential cause
A potential cause of that error may be the tweaks you've made to the navigation bar through gravity box.
My debug info, current screen dimensions, says 1822x1080, DPI=480

That's odd though. Make sure you haven't adjusted the sizing of the bar in any way. Any small change in your display settings will throw off all of the Themer settings.
themer will not work for me in my rom either ... i havent touched the dpi or anything .. it is 480 I believe but the screeen resolution is coming up as 1803x1080 :S... I do not know how to fix it
Yeah same here for my Xperia Z Ultra. I'd really like to try Themer, but it doesn't support the ZU. I'm on stock Sony build, no tweaks to nav bar or DPI that I know of. When I check the screen dimensions under Themer Debug Info, it says it is 1824x1080 with a DPI of 320. Perhaps it is the DPI that is the problem? Either way, would sure love a fix so I can try Themer out.

Hi Danial,
If your phone is rooted, please check that any other display setting has been set to default. This includes any height settings of notification/nav bars or any resolution settings. If you visit gsmarena.com, your phone settings should match the stock display settings for the G2.

Hi luvboox,
The developers are working very hard to improve Themer's performance and other features, however adding more device support won't be easy due to lack of resources. Once Themer is more stable we'll look into more device support such as the Z Ultra
If still not working, please see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775244

Hi,
Unfortunately this is one of the hardest problems to overcome. Themer's internal structure works very differently compared to other launchers (such as Nova) meaning that even adding something seemingly simply like transparent notification and navigation bars is immensely difficult. Multi DPI is even harder to implement, and that mixed with the percentage of users who have multi DPI enabled on their phone puts it on our to-do list, but not very high up.
Once we have more resources however we'll definitely look at what can be done. We are working on ways, it just takes a very long time. Sorry about that!

Hi all, is there a way to change the dpi of a single app without "app settings" module in xposed? Since xposed on lollipop is really unstable I'd like if I can have a different solution. I mean: I reduce dpi from 480 to 400 for a better user experience but I don't like keyboard at 400 dpi and I'd like to have it at 480. I was able to to this with app settings, is it possible without xposed? Thanks in advantage

I never tried that personally, but I'm quite sure you should start by editing res/layout files. I don't think there is a tutorial available, nor is it really easy to do. You should edit xml files to include the px height/width that you want.
I'm sorry, but I don't think there is an easier way without Xposed.
Also, I needed it. I use this ROOT Dpi changer.
Works great , I used 400 dpi but unfortunately it's actually just the entire UI system ....
