Here I present a new ROM, PhoeniX. I tested almost everything available to our device from great devs and took out the best and bug-free things to cook this ROM. I own this device,so I know what it require and sure that, this ROM will be smooth,fast and maintain a balance b/w performance and battery. Give it a try n feel the power, it costs u nothing..

Unlocked Bootloader
Flash latest stock SONY 6.2.A.1.100 firmware,let it boot.
Let it settle for 5minutes. Then fastboot kernel [Nemesis recommended--Type this command in cmd for Nemesis 6.3rev 2 => "fastboot flash boot nemesis.img", for final version type nemesis.elf instead of nemesis.img.]
Reboot phone n press power button when phone vibrate, to enter CWM.Then clear cache,dalvik cache n reboot.
Let it settle for five minutes. After that, enter CWM and wipe Data/Factory reset, and then flash ROM.
Let it boot n settle for 5 minutes.Reboot again to enable other tweaks
AROMA INSTALLER
-You will get into Aroma installer
-After the main menu you will get into first window where you can select Black or white colour apps
-Second window with Phonebook n Dialer, see respective description.
-Third window is SystemUI selection. First option is PhoeniX UI() latest, Second option is the blur effectUI both mods by me, n remaining UIs- read description below it.
[For the blur effect select blur UI n you must select Xposed n Gaussian blur options in the last window.After completing installation select Xposed Installer app, then framework>Install Update. Don't reboot (no problem if u reboot,but to avoid one reboot). Then select Modules n tick Blurred SystemUI. After that select Blurred SystemUI, tick on Statusbar expanded, Recent Applications,Header,Quick Settings, Notifications, Blur Fade In/Out ,Start Margin Landscape. Untick Start Margin-Portrait n then Reboot.]
I don't recommend installing Z2 camera add-ons, liitle buggy.
-For the remaing windows like home, keyboard etc., see heading n description in options. Full themed Home also added.
FIRST FIVE WINDOWS ARE SELECTBOX type(you can select only ONE among options), REMAINING ARE CHECKBOX type(Select one or more option).
-After selecting all options n completing installation, tick reboot n let it boot.
-Let it settle for five minutes, after that do the blur effect step above if you installed it n then reboot to enable other tweaks.
Enjoy the ROM
Locked Bootloader
See the above Unlocked BL installation instructions for AROMA installer options.
Root and install CWM
Download a stockbased Jellybean kernel and flash it.
Let it settle n boot into cwm recovery and clear cache n dalwik.
Wipe Data/Factory reset n flash the rom n Reboot.
Let it settle for 5 minutes.
Reboot to enable other tweaks

## Do not use any task killers Android analyse the use of apps by u and keeps them in RAM so that the next time you open, it loads faster. Task killers clears them and slows down by preventing android from taking app log.
##Screen drains the battery more.Set brightness to minimum.Untick Auto-Brightness
##Use some battery calibration app to find,which app drains battery more.
~~Enable stamina mode,use a Static Wallpaper and not a Live Wallpaper.
~~Set sleep time less than 1 minute (30 seconds recommended) and disable autorotate as it uses G-Sensor.
~~Use only those widgets that donot refresh everytime.
~~Auto-Sync also consumes battery by constantly checking data. Turn it off.
~~Calibrate battery using apps.

For battery use smartassv2,interactivex
For performance use lionheart,hotplugx
For balance,use wheatley,wheatleyplus,pegasusq.
You can play with govnrs n I/Os, no prob n find out which one suits your device better.:fingers-crossed:
I recommend wheatleyplus n sio combo. Set CPU freq to 1.1Ghz so that it will complete tasks quicker and go to deep sleep mode.

If you get status7 error: Solution : Boot into CWM. Then tap install zip from sdcard> toggle signature verification. Then u will get this on screen " Signature check : Disabled" . After that flash the ROM zip. For some people, signature check was enabled n get that status7 error.

This ROM conflict with xposed. It's make dissapear the qucik setting when you use SystemUI mod and make the phone can't get the signal of the carrier! đon't know how to fix this and now I have to disable Xposed!
Waiting for Sirius v5. I'd like to use Z2 app, especially Email app from Z2!

Saw your PM, here is the Home.apk with full theme engine support Place this in system>app>Replace it. (Use root browser, rw- r-- r-- permission) I used latest home.apk in my ROM which doesnot support whole theme. So change it.
Edit: If you use xposed, then change the SystemUI to default(Sirius v3 UI).

By default both BE2 n XR are ON in my both ROMs. XR/BE2 alone won't work. When you enable both you will see the difference. It's working n it will work :good:

Why another stock based ROM and why should I use Pure Xperia HD?
- There are excellent ROMs out there and no need to discuss the great work of thilinaC as everyone knows what he is and what he has contributed.. But i thought to make a rom that gives a stress on PERFORMANCE rather than making people amazed just by writing cool stuff in the OP and actually nothing inside.. Pure Xperia HD gives you a balance between PERFORMANCE as well as battery life with excellent memory management.. Its time people are moving towards JB and I made an ICS ROM.. I dont mind guys.. ofcourse with time people move ahead.. But I want to give you all a last cool ICS experience before moving towards JB if you are planning to do so.. To clear all your anger and misunderstandings about the performance and usage of ICS,..
Go ahead and give it shot.. I promise you wont regret..
Things to be noted:
-boot delay time reported by testers on vengeance kernel.. so if you using this kernel be patient for the device to start..
-For wifi flash the respective kernel modules you are using..
-If u face a little lag in app drawer, then its the launcher problem of xperia z.. Not rom issue.. If you want me to change it then please suggest some good launchers.. Il do the same in the next update according to the majority..
-If any problems faced,, search first for the issue.. rather than spamming the thread unnecessarily.. Still if problems persist.. post here..
-For best gaming experience, just close all the running apps manually from settings>apps>running to make more RAM available and also to lessen the disturbance due to other apps which cause lags..
-Your Questions will be answered by any of the ST OCTANE TRANSFORMERS' members.. be patient..

P.S. : Do all the wipes before installing the rom.. Use the Same Neo patch given below as only the firmware name is chnaged in the build.prop.. So it will show you .587 instead of .13.. if you so much want it then replace 4.1.B.0.587 with 4.1.B.1.13 by using notepad++
If the Status bar doesn't appear for the first boot, just reboot your device once. it will be ok..

Thing To Be Fixed:

For users who selected xperia Z system ui and want more toogles in the status bar, replace the existing QuickPanelSettings.apk with the one provided in the thread at the end

Please follow the whole procedure of installation again just to keep everything clean and to ensure that everything is working well..
Let the ROM settle for atlest 20-30min before using it.. After it is settled, reboot your phone and then start your play..

It would have been stupid to make another 170mb update only for a 5kb update.. I hope you guys wont mind making this change by taking small efforts..
Boot delay issue reported by some user after changing the build.prop.. So if anyone finds the same, no problem.. Report me here and I will change and re-update it..
Please note: If you are having no lag issues or any battery drain problem, its not an issue if you dont update this.. Its totally upto you..

no music player included, change lock-screen appears twice, use superuser instead of supersu, camera red & inverted ( i think given patch not working )
everything working fine .... i installing the attached camera patch works well
just test the rom and find the error with root access, i flash the super su in cwm and it work good. Very smooth and clean rom to me

Check the pm.. Want single zip instead of two,three..
when i use smart dial the contact name selection is too blue and very hard to read, i mean the font should be much brighter or maybe even white (see attach). video camera seemed to have lags but installing cyber shot 7.1.2 fixed that. also there is a bug with the AOSP lockscreen. otherwise very smooth rom and works great, keep up the good work!

Why another stock based ROM and why should I use Pure Xperia HD?
- There are excellent ROMs out there and no need to discuss the great work of thilinaC as everyone knows what he is and what he has contributed.. But i thought to make a rom that gives a stress on PERFORMANCE rather than making people amazed just by writing cool stuff in the OP and actually nothing inside.. Pure Xperia HD gives you a balance between PERFORMANCE as well as battery life with excellent memory management.. Its time people are moving towards JB and I made an ICS ROM.. I dont mind guys.. ofcourse with time people move ahead.. But I want to give you all a last cool ICS experience before moving towards JB if you are planning to do so.. To clear all your anger and misunderstandings about the performance and usage of ICS,..
Go ahead and give it shot.. I promise you wont regret..
Things to be noted:
-boot delay time reported by testers on vengeance kernel.. so if you using this kernel be patient for the device to start..
-For wifi flash the respective kernel modules you are using..
-If u face a little lag in app drawer, then its the launcher problem of xperia z.. Not rom issue.. If you want me to change it then please suggest some good launchers.. Il do the same in the next update according to the majority..
-If any problems faced,, search first for the issue.. rather than spamming the thread unnecessarily.. Still if problems persist.. post here..
-For best gaming experience, just close all the running apps manually from settings>apps>running to make more RAM available and also to lessen the disturbance due to other apps which cause lags..
-Your Questions will be answered by any of the ST OCTANE TRANSFORMERS' members.. be patient..

P.S. : Do all the wipes before installing the rom.. Use the Same Ray patch given below as only the firmware name is chnaged in the build.prop.. So it will show you .587 instead of .13.. if you so much want it then replace 4.1.B.0.587 with 4.1.B.1.13 by using notepad++
If the Status bar doesn't appear for the first boot, just reboot your device once. it will be ok..
Reboot the device once, before start your normal usage..

Thing To Be Fixed:

Though the Sound Enhancment is not required as Xloud, Clear Bass, Clear Stereo are Working by default.. The only thing you will miss is equilizer.. If you do use it, you have a fix for enhancment in themes and apps.. Use it.. I Will fix it in the next update..
For users who selected xperia Z system ui and want more toogles in the status bar, replace the existing QuickPanelSettings.apk with the one provided in the thread at the end
Please follow the whole procedure of installation again just to keep everything clean and to ensure that everything is working well..
Let the ROM settle for atlest 20-30min before using it.. After it is settled, reboot your phone and then start your play..

1. Download the new build.prop file..( link below).

It would have been stupid to make another 170mb update only for a 5kb update.. I hope you guys wont mind making this change by taking small efforts..

Please note: If you are having no lag issues or any battery drain problem, its not an issue if you dont update this.. Its totally upto you..

Looking good testing the rom CTCaer kernel is best for ram usage but MD5 missmatch when trying to install rom . And Thet circle when i start to use phone is teribble idea xD i mean with circle i need touch everyting move circle on icon and press 2 times .

i prefer smoothness and performance over anything ...so u can only think about it on my rom :laugh:
he might be different...may think different...he may provide space equally for quality,themeing,tweaks,mostly for to qualify the name officiallysonyrebel that he must be do good...etc..
and option is urs...we r team trying to provide best out of Sony Ericssons Proud 2011 devices

ok mann!! just develop a rom with no bugs and best user xperience that will be for daily usage...just take your time ....it would be better for 1 week interval for each rom update...

Good news is i finished building SmartDeviL but timescape giving me headache...it conflicts with other xperia's app
but phone is unbelievable smooth,grt performance loud and clear sounds...most nc thing is runs at 460MHZ lol i love thiss

Unlocked Bootloader
Flash latest stock SONY 6.2.A.1.100 firmware,let it boot.
Flash Custom kernel (Nemesis-recommended)
~After fastboot kernel,flash the same kernel zip via CWM for compete installation. ,let it boot.
Boot into CWM
Wipe Data/Factory reset
Flash the rom.
Let it settle for 5 minutes.
Reboot again to enable other tweaks
Enjoy the ROM
Locked Bootloader
Root and install CWM
Download a stockbased Jellybean kernel and flash it.
Boot into cwm recovery
Wipe Data/Factory reset
Flash the rom and Reboot.
Let it settle for 5 minutes.

For stock kernel users,just install cwm,flash the rom and reboot to enable other tweaks.
INFO/TIP/For better BATTERY
At first start up..let it settle for about 5 minutes (leave the phone working).
If Z2 camera addons not working, clear camera common in Settings >> Apps >> All. Most probably it will work without clearing.
To enable USB Connection : Go to Settings>Storage>Menu button>USB Computer Connection>Media device(MTP)>tick MTP.
## Do not use any task killers Android analyse the use of apps by u and keeps them in RAM so that the next time you open, it loads faster. Task killers clears them and slows down by preventing android from taking app log.
##Screen drains the battery more.Set brightness to minimum.Untick Auto-Brightness
##Use some battery calibration app to find,which app drains battery more.
~~Enable stamina mode,use a Static Wallpaper and not a Live Wallpaper.
~~Set sleep time less than 1 minute (30 seconds recommended) and disable autorotate as it uses G-Sensor.
~~Use only those widgets that donot refresh everytime.
~~Auto-Sync also consumes battery by constantly checking data. Turn it off.
~~Calibrate battery using apps.

You can play with govnrs n I/Os no prob n find out which one suits your device better. :fingers-crossed:
I recommend wheatleyplus n sio combo. Set CPU freq to 1.1Ghz so that it will complete tasks quicker and go to deep sleep mode.

If you get status7 error: Solution : Boot into CWM. Then tap install zip from sdcard> toggle signature verification. Then u will get this on screen " Signature check : Disabled" . After that flash the ROM zip. For some people, signature check was enabled n get that status7 error

yep.. forgot to mention that.. I changed it in build.prop just to feel Z2. You can also change the easter egg to kitkat.. :good: It is already there.in OP.. JB based.

Good heavens your ROM data is ultra misleading. In the ROM version it says it is 4.4.x when it actually is 4.1.2. Also please put a big [JB] in your thread title, newer users may be fooled by this ROM.

When you read the first two lines itself you can see that it is based on jellybean.

and.. are you sure the dialer lag has been addressed? it is the only true reason why anyone would move from stock rom.. that is the only problem the stock rom had.. the dialer lag

Dialer lag is causes by some third party apps, we as dev already work hard to reduce the lag...so, nothing to do so ?

This rom is stock based. Now I checked..1second lag..not a problem. :good: I don't experience any much lag..
I recommend nemesis kernel revised v6.3.. (hotplugx+noop). @Xperia_Fans thanks bro. Ya..it is sony's fault.

You mean swiping power toggles..? Pull down the notification bar and swipe from left..there u get toggles.. :good:
Timeshift video comes without timeshift effect ..don't takes photos..give FC.
Creative Effect takes photos but don't record video.
4K Video gives FC
Socialive take pictures perfectly but don't record.

This UI include both quick setting toggles and swiping power toggles(around 24 toggles). One can enable or disable swiping power toggles from setings> personalisation. U can see it in the screenshots bro..

yeah it deffinitely is sony's fault, but that is the reason to move away from stock in the first place
i will try it now.. lets see how much improvement there is in the dialer, btw.. there are no funny UI FCs with the use of power toggles right? i hope not..

I know there is a ton of stock roms available in white version. I am not saying that my rom is better than that roms. My rom is just a normal one. But i need to show u something different. That's why i made this rom. Its called Flat UI. U can feel a poor Flat UI experience in most of the system apps and third party apps. This will be a new experience for 2012 Device users.

I have already ported it for JB 4.1.2. But its laggy when i was used it in my friend's XP and XS. That's why i did not included it.

@Rajeev Do we need to flash Stock .100 ftf before flashing this ROM...I think we should...

I am not sure about flashing stock 100 ftf before flashing this rom because i don't have XP. I am using XZ. If u face any problems means kindly flash stock 100 ftf then root it and install Cwm recovery then install rom again. Let me know the results. I will update OP then.

hav been using from yesterday night and everythin working fine bro awesome ram management, i felt a lot of difference with this rom(games as well as apps with nemesis r4)!!
one more thing... can u port latest system ui by jitz975 plz ??
i found only one issue and will be glad if u can correct it!!
the lockscreen wallpaper doesnt work well wid status bar(see pic) and also can u tell me how to reduce the size of icons?? i wish to have them a bit smaller which will look more beautiful!!
and one more thing bro!! we all use your phonebook and contacts and dis latest version is good but the pic of the contacts is always blue no matter which theme i change... can u make it change according to theme???
im not asking u to do for sure bro, jus letting u no few things n maybe if u can u do

edit: timescape not working bro!! it comes out jus like that from the app when i click it.. it doesnt show force close or anythin!!

U can use GEM xperia module for reducing icon size..
I will try to fix phonebook picture color issue in next update. Only if users like this rom. Otherwise no updates...
