[Q] Wifi will not turn on - Samsung Galaxy Mega

UPDATE: I just happen to remember that i needed to flash the modem for the firmware I flashed. When I did that the wifi worked!!
Hi
I know there are numerous threads regarding the issue of wifi not turning on after some type of flashing. But there doesn't seem to be any answers that pertain to my problem.
My SPH-L600 Mega is rooted and came stock 4.2.2 L600VPUANA7. Everything including wifi has worked fine. The problems began when I Odin flashed SPR-L600VPUAMK1 stock firmware. It was successful. But I kept getting a System UI error that wouldn't quit. So I ended up just flashing the L600VPUANA7 stock rooted firmware back to the phone. That fixed the problem. But then Wifi would not turn on. Others seem to have had this problem. And on other phones, they found solutions. But I can't exactly flash another custom rom since there doesn't seem to be any made for this model. I installed numerous wifi "fix" apks that I downloaded. They changed nothing. I did a complete factory reset from custom recovery. But the wifi still doesn't work. I am looking for something else I haven't tried yet. Any ideas? Thanks!

Tried UnBrickableResurrectorR40, but still no success. Please help to recover this device.
Technically speaking, this is download mode, it just looks a little different. I would say just try to reflash whatever it was you were trying to flash in the first place. I would not be able to tell you what exactly caused your device to do that (in that case ask zaclimon). It could be that you tried to restore using the U.S or Korean firmware, the connection between the player and your computer could have been interrupted, the flashing tool you use could have been set up incorrectly, or even something that I did not mention. Since your device can at least boot up it is not totally lost. If worst comes to worst, contact the people at mobiletechvideos, they can preform a jaytag repair for $40. Other than that
Sent from my YP-G1 using xda app-developers app
Reflash the stock ROM, and then flash whatever you were trying to flash.
Exactly as stated about. I believe that this a kind of force download mode in that as you said something went wrong while flashing your gp. Just reflash what you were flashing before as others have stated.
Thanks everyone. Now it works.

Another S3 boot loop problem

Hi
I have an S3 that I installed CWM on and OmniRom kitkat on. I have had it going well for about 2 years now, but the other day my phone ran flat and when I tried to switch it on it went into a boot loop. I have tried reflashing the rom and tried other roms. Wiped data, cache etc as per all the tutorials. Eventually I tried the stock rom using odin. Odin ran well with no errors. But now my phone now loops between the samsung logo and the Android logo. I no longer have CWM because of the stock rom.
What else can I try.
thanks in advance.
Try the rescue firmware in general forum and the pit file, the emmc was corrupted/damaged when the battery went flat.
BoomBoomer
thanks so much this got me on the right track and after much trial an error i managed to get my phone back with stock firmware.
I have this problem though. This screen pops up on the home page, just cannot get rid of it, any ideas?:

htc one m9+ supreme camera

hi guys.
firstly its my very first thread so please ignore the poor posting.
i have a htc one m9+ supreme camera (m9px) hong-kong version.
after flashing a faulty SU the official/stock firmware went faulty and didn't boot back on.
i had to wipe the whole device to be able to try new rom or even firmwares. here is the problem i cant find anything for this phone!
sure i did manage to find a Taiwan version which i flashed but Baseband, radio and ota is not working.
i found a HK version on "easy-firmware.com" and "ir-file.com" but i think it was a fake one (check out the pic).

}
thus no chance found there. interesting thing is i didnt find the m9px recovery i managed to find a m9pw (htc m9+) and flashed it surprisingly its working , yet it seems because of the difference in models (hiau_ml_tuhl for m9+) and (hiaur_ml_tuhl for m9+ sc) every time that i want to install ota it goes to recovery and recovery cant flash the ota.
so if someone could help me out in any ways i would really appreciate it. or would you send a back up your phone (same model) to me to flash would be awesome too.
thanks again

Galaxy Tab S3 is not fine - how to reset it the proper way?

Hello everyone,
my GFs Galays Tab S3 has an issue. A couple of days ago it reacted strangely, crashed, rebooted and was stuck multiple times in reboot.
Acutally my girlfriend couldn't even login because it rebooted again before it could load the OS. It has stock ROM, no root, everything in original state.
Once after reboot there was the screen that a custom OS can cause critical problems:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
At one point she could reset it and at the beginning it worked properly. After setting up the accounts, WIFI etc. it started again to reboot. Now you can login but after a while there will be another reboot. So actually it's not possible to really do anything with the tablet.
What do you think is broken in the tablet and how can I fix it?
Would it make sense to use another ROM?
Thanks and best regards
The screen you posted is the download mode, which you would use for odin
I would try to flash the stock firmware with odin. This will wipe the device and you'll lose any data on it., so be forewarned.
Alternately, if you can get into recovery, you could try a factory reset, this will also wipe the device.
If the problem continues it's probably some corrupt memory which can't be fixed.

odin fails to flash AP

my phone is SM-N935L

I actually have the same problem on my sm-a750fn, but im currently trying to fix it because my Problem at the beginning was the Binarymy device was 5 but the files were 4, so i downloaded the new software but the ap didnt get flashed, even tho BL CP and CSC were flashed successfully, for me it stops at boot.img and then _XmiData_Write and suddenly Complete Write Operation Fail. Ill try my best and if i figure smth out ill contact you
Edit: Im sorry but after all i cannot help you, because i tried using the ap from the not working firmware, didnt work so i went back to the working firmware and tried loading the ap again and this time it worked, you should probably try updating your samsung drivers
Edit2: Or try to find another Firmware, but a new one and just flash the AP (you should use firmware for the device tho, because i had issues of firmware changing the model of the phone? so just be careful)
